Amazing features and exceptional quality!

This camera is exceptional! I had tried a different brand, battery operated ones in the past, but this one truly exceeded my expectations. It was so simple to install - just 3 screws for the bracket and then the camera arm clipped right in. I did charge them inside first (as recommended by the instructions), but I really like the design of the solar panel assembly, so I could position it to get more sun throughout the day. AND, this camera feels so well made and sturdy - it is obvious that a lot of thought and consideration went into the design and manufacturing.I had already downloaded the app, and so the camera instantly connected after scanning the QR code on the device. The signal strength is excellent even though I have it placed on a detached garage - far away from the router. I should add that it came with a micro SD card, but with two cameras on it, I think a larger card will be prudent.Diving into the app, there are several built-in options for "AI Surveillance" such as person/vehicle/pet detection, parking guard, and other intrusion detections. These enhanced, included features coupled with local storage is the reason I picked this brand. The cloud subscriptions are not required. So I think this is the absolute best value on the market for enterprise-grade home security cameras. There are so many settings and options on the app - I am impressed with how many advanced features are packed in. I have had few, if any false motion alerts, which is a common issue with some other brands I have tried, so I also give the monitoring capability top grades. It has the best of both worlds - the wide angle fixed cam might sense motion first, and then the focus cam tracks the vehicle or person. The articulating arm is a sound solution to provide for pointing the fixed cam for perfect coverage - then the focus cam can be set in the app with a default view, too. Also, in the app, it shows both cam images simultaneously. The image quality is excellent (including color night vision) and shows a high amount of detail even when zooming in.If you are looking for a professional quality security camera, that has a ton of features right out of the box (the app and settings are numerous and far more than I have seen from any other brands) and without a premium price tag, this is one to choose.Ver más

Clear view, great quality

The AOSU T2 Pro has been a great addition to my camera setup. The dual-camera system works really well — the wide-angle lens gives a full view of the area and the camera follows motion and captures more detail. Video quality is impressive both during the day and at night, with very clear night vision. The app is simple to use, making it easy to view multiple cameras and manage settings quickly. Setup was fast, WiFi connection was smooth, and the battery life has been solid even without constant solar charging. I was wrong: it's garbage

UPDATE: DO NOT BUYThe downloaded videos could not played on my phone's default video player. Support seemed helpful and finally concluded that their video formatting on this camera could not be played on Google photo as all other 7 Aosu products I own could. They did not conclude this until just after the last return date. Purposefully I suspect. However they decided to send a new one. This one is worse and will not play videos under the events button. So now I have two garbage cameras I'll be junking. No.more Aosu for me.I have had a couple of Auso turret security cameras which work well. But there is one shortcoming that this camera addresses. While the turret is moving around looking for or tracking the spotted object, one loses site of the overall scene. This camera solves this by providing both a moving and fixed camera. So nothing in the scene is lost. I am also finding that this camera picks up better on smaller objects, such as cats which I am forever trying to keep track of and keep them out of trouble.So well done Auso!Set up was very easy. There have been some glitches setting up cameras in the past but not so with this camera. Mounting and positioning is easy with the moving arm. The solar charging works great and saves regular need for climbing ladders. Overall a great camera.Ver más

Good cameras

So far so good. If you don't buy the subscription. The AI options are limited. But the camera is themselves work good clear picture. The solar panels work well and keep them charged. Even in low light areas. Worth the money for the cameras. But the subscription is pricey. So if you're expecting to have all the options of the AI technology you're going to have to pay money.Ver más

One of my worst experiences buying something on Amazon

This purchase has turned out to be one of my worst experiences purchasing something on Amazon. Sorry but this is longer than any review I've ever done because i felt i needed to share not only my experience with the product but Amazon's service with this purchase.I purchased this aosu camera set the 1st day of prime day sale since they were in my cart already and I was waiting for prime day to get them at a better price. I was shocked to find their sale price went down another $50 the second day of prime day sale after I just purchased them so I tried to call Amazon customer service before it shipped to see if I could get it at the new lower price. I was told by the Representative that they don't do price matching and that I would have to wait until it arrived then return it and to order another at the new sale price because the shipping process had started.I said I wasn't shelling out another $500 ontop of the big purchase I just made what else can I do? He told me that he was making a note on file and if I called back after it was delivered, I could call back and someone would be able to help me get it worked out. When I called back after they were delivered, the new customer representative was no help at all and told me the previous representative gave me wrong information and he never left a "note on file" and kept saying the that Amazon doesn't honor price matching. Making matters worse I could barely understand him with his heavy indian accent and asked for a supervisor who gave me the same run around and said they don't price match so I asked the supervisor for Amazon's definition on price matching because it wasn't like I saw it cheaper somewhere else or even a different seller selling the same product on Amazon, it was the same company on Amazon, during the prime sale, less than 24hrs of my purchase. Two representatives and a supervisor could not tell me what Amazon's definition of price matching was....crickets was all I got when I asked all 3 times.Onto the product review.....The cameras themselves are awesome! They were bigger than I imagined but that wasn't an issue. I love the wide camera and 360⁰ AI camera that tracks movements. I could technically get away with 2 cameras covering my whole front and backyard since each one can cover such a large area. These are so much better than my arlo cameras were! Never having to take them down to charge batteries is one of the main reasons why I picked them. I did end up having an issue though from day one with the cameras. I saw that it was advised to fully charge each camera before use which I did inside, Plugged into an outlet, not using the solar panel. The first 3 charged no problem. When plugged in there was a blinking green light that almost instantly went solid green indicating a full charge. One of them however just kept blinking green like it was still charging instead of a solid green light. After hours of charging it was still blinking and when unplugged the green light went of instantly whereas the other 3 were solid green light after being unplugged.I was able to connect the 3 with the base but the 4th one was not charging and wasn't getting online. I called aosu customer service and told them the issue and was told someone would going to reach out to me within 24hrs to resolve my issues. No one called me back or emailed me so I ending up having to call back days later. I was told by the woman I spoke with that someone would be reaching out very soon. I'm waiting one more day to see if I can get the one not charging replaced. If not it looks like i will have to return them for a refund and now they're not on sale anymore! I was really wanting these cameras but this whole experience has been a major PITA!Hopefully aosu will make it right, since Amazon did not. If they dont i guess they will be returned. I'm really disappointed with Amazon service recently. Its not the same as it once was. Getting no help, having got wrong information and even lied to and was told that a note was made on my account which wasn't, not to mention obviously Amazon customer service calls are sent to a call center in India. Being hard of hearing and trying to understand heavy indian accents everytime I have to call Amazon is becoming more trouble than its worth.

Simple to use and charge to 100% before install

This is a high-quality motion detection video recording camera that is great for surveillance. The mounting is very simple with just three screws that go into a hanging bracket for the camera to snap into. The camera storage is up to 256gig, and I originally purchased a 256 micro-SD card, but after using the camera for a couple days, I decided to sign up for the cloud service which is only nine dollars a month and the first 30 days are free to see if you like it. This is a great value for the money, because it is 2 cameras in one and you can even go into the app and it allows you to draw the areas out that you want to protect like I have my focusing on my driveway and parking area and that way you don't have to see every car or person walking by with notifications. it also has a voice alarm a siren alarm and lights alarm and you can choose how you want to set it all up. On the app you can open it and view live feed anytime, but if you just sit and watch it like tv your battery will go down faster. The app has the events that are happening that you can view. In the pouring down rain the picture was still crystal clear, and it even has color night vision. I am so happy with this camera I may even get one for my back yard and the front video door one with voice. I first installed the camera with the solar panel on the top of the camera, but because where I have it that are gets snow blown in the winter, so I moved the camera under the eve and left the panel in the sun, the also makes it easier if you ever just want or need to take the camera down to charge it if your charging station is too far away or something. Plug it in and charge it first to 100% before you mount it, because I did not do that and had to charge it later, but still not a big deal, because my plugs are close, so I don't have to unmount it. Don't know how long the batteries are going to last in a long stretch of no sun, but at least you have the option to charge them yourself. LOVE it!Ver más
