Video quality, Price and function are awesome.

Easy set up, great camera quality! Night vision on these are great, quality overall is amazing.Auto detect works, but is not as sensitive as I would like.The camera battery lasts forever, I think the solar charging works amazingly.The cross camera tracking could be set up better, but I think that goes back to the sensitivity.These cameras do follow movement which is awesome.Overall highly recommend, I think it's much better then blink systems and other camera systems.I will update with any issues I see on these but honestly it's the best camera system for the price.I have recommended to several people and everyone is pleased with it so far.Ver más

Rock-Solid Aosu Security - No More Disconnects

I recently ditched my old camera system for these aosu D-1 cams and I couldn’t be happier. With my previous setup, I was constantly dealing with disconnections and unreliable coverage. Their app was painfully slow to open and sometimes it wouldn’t load at all. Since switching to aosu, those connection issues are completely gone. The system is genuinely DIY and easy to set up and use. The picture quality is clear, both day and night, and the wireless connectivity has been consistently strong around my property. The app is fast, stable, and user friendly, and I really appreciate that it’s subscription-free—no monthly fees just to view my own cameras. One of my favorite features is the solar-charged batteries. I have the camera installed under the awning and I’m not having any issues with solar charging. The batteries stay topped off so I don’t have to climb up and swap batteries every so often. I also love the 360° pan and tilt with auto-tracking; the camera smoothly follows movement, which gives me much better coverage than my old fixed cameras. Overall, this aosu camera system is reliable, easy to use, and surprisingly affordable for everything you get. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade from a flaky, older system to something more modern and hassle-free.Ver más

Easy, smooth setup, decent performance

This review is for the Aosu SolarCam D1 Classic 2-camera kit with H1L HomeBase.First, be sure to plan for camera mounting locations that get enough sunlight. My two cameras installed two weeks ago have been maintaining 100% charge every day, except on consecutive cloudy / rainy days when they have dropped to 80 or 90%. Hard to know how the storage performance will hold up as years pass.Some miscellaneous notes:1) Mounting height:Try not to mount the camera too low, because the up and down tilt motion is straight across, 0-degrees horizontal at its highest, and points straight down at its lowest.2) Flatness of the camera mounting bases:The mounting bases need to stay flat. Initially I fastened the screws too tightly on wood fence posts, which distorted the flatness and prevented the snap-lock action from holding the cameras securely. After backing off the three mounting screws slightly, the problem went away.3) Grab and run theft risk:Later I might drill in an additional screw to physically secure each camera to its mounting base. The current design makes it easy to slide the camera on and off the base, which can be convenient for installation.But if theft is a concern for you, I would definitely add an additional screw.4) Storage volume:The 32GB storage of the HomeBase unit can't be expanded. That works for me because my back yard doesn't trigger many motion-activated recordings, maybe 10 or 15 daily (yard work, playing with dog). For my two cameras, this will be enough for six months of footage. It then loops back to overwrite the oldest recordings.An SD card slot for memory expansion would have been a helpful feature, especially for other users that might have more cameras or more motion-triggered activity.5) HomeBase is hard-wired to your network.The cameras are wireless, but keep in mind that the central HomeBase unit is connected to the internet by a physical RJ45 network cable jack. The signal range between the HomeBase and the cameras is definitely stronger than regular wifi.The Aosu app currently reports 48% and 52% signal for my two cameras, which is apparently good because live viewing and controlling the pan-tilt has worked correctly -- while I was 17,000 kilometers away, south of the equator on a ship in the middle of the Indian Ocean.Btw the date/time stamp on the recorded images also maintain accuracy regardless of what time zone you are located in while viewing through the Aosu app.6) Motion detection:The D1 Classic model has basic "person" shape recognition, and seven levels of motion detection sensitivity. You can leave it on automatic, or manually adjust the settings yourself. These settings will also obviously affect memory and battery consumption.Generally speaking,a) Intelligence:Other models including the Aosu P1 Max series do offer higher levels of shape recognition and "AI Surveillance"-enhanced processing, but at higher price points."Cross Camera Tracking" on the D1 Classic generates notifications of consecutive motion events of multiple cameras.My setup is with only two cameras, so this feature might be more interesting if you have three or four cameras.b) False triggering and missed (non-) triggering:This is apparently still a universal challenge for all camera makes and models in this product space.Typical false trigger causes are rain and snow; spider webs; shadows of passing clouds, and trees or leaves blowing in the wind.c) Unreliable information on "professional" reviews, articles:There is some utterly wrong information on various technology blog websites. Maybe because Aosu has such a wide range of camera models, each with different combinations of features, that the blog writers lose track of what they are writing about.So just be aware that any reports of 128GB or 256GB SD card expansion, or 2.4/5G wifi connectivity for example, might apply to other specific Aosu camera models, but not necessarily the D1 Classic.____________________The attached photos are of my night-time installation that only took a few minutes per camera, and finally three snapshots that show the effects of illumination on the picture quality:1) with no illumination (except moonlight)2) with camera's IR infrared illumination (black & white)3) with camera's LED floodlight illumination (color)

Outstanding value

Outstanding Security and Absolute Peace of Mind!I could not be happier with my AOSU outdoor security cameras. The 2K/4K video quality is absolutely crystal clear both day and night, making it incredibly easy to see faces and license plates. Setup was a breeze, and the battery life has been phenomenal, saving me from constant maintenance.The smart human detection is highly accurate and has drastically reduced false alerts from wind or passing cars. I also love that there are no mandatory monthly subscription fees to view my recorded footage. If you want reliable, high-quality outdoor security without a headache, these cameras are worth every penny!Ver más

Convenient Package with everything needed

This camera kit all worked together out of the box with simple mounting and setup. Customer service has been very easy and helpful, warrantying a failed solar panel. The app occasionally needs to be restarted to get videos to load and I wish the motion detection worked out a bit further from the camera and over a wider viewing angle; the picture is fantastic and clear for a much longer distance than the motion detection range to initiate recording or motion tracking, which also works well once a moving object is acquired. Human ID has helped reduce false motion trips from grass, trees, and decorative spinners. Barring the solar charging issue, battery life has been fine even with the color vision and flood light enabled overnight, but even the IR night image on battery saver delivers a good IR image. Storage is plentiful to keep videos for much longer than necessary. A great kit value and easy wifi setup.Ver más

Works well for a multi-family property

Real Estate Investor here.I chose this system in pursuit to have video security on a 4-plex in Miami Beach. This D1 Classic 4-Cam is easy to install, connect and use through the app. The WiFi does reach a fair length even though is hard through concrete walls.Great user experience as well as video quality. I got it for $299+tax on a deal and I’m quite happy.Ver más
