Good.
Been using ring for years now. We have used all their different indoor and outdoor cameras, sensors, and accessories. Upgraded to these new 4k camera that we've all long been waiting for, and while most are improvements, or kept with what works like easy installation and setup, fast response and playback, good app control and options... there are some minor things that we did not like. First of all the camera is bigger and has less range of motion, the lights are much more yellow - not like the soft yellow you get with the previous versions, night vision seems like it didn't improve much. But other than that everything else is on par with our expectation from a 4k camera.Ver másVer menos

Just buy it!
Just buy it! It far exceeded our expectations. The quality of the video and the range captured is fantastic. The light is quite bright

Great light and camera, costly but I’m glad I purchased it and I’m truly thinking about getting another for the other side of my house. It’s wired so I don’t need a battery. Ring is the best!
Super easy to install and set up. I have several ring camera cameras, and love the floodlight feature of this one! The lights are nice and bright and easily adjustable. The camera covers a wide range and is very clear. Going to purchase another one for my lower deck.Ver másVer menos

The Ring Floodlight Cam pro 4K Review: Bold Lights, but with only Slightly improved Clarity
Let me start by saying—if you already own the first-generation model, I wouldn’t recommend upgrading. The jump from 2K to 4K sounds impressive on paper, but in real use, the difference is minimal. I tested this by zooming in on license plates, and they were just as hard to read as they were with the original Ring Pro camera. The picture quality seems at times pixelated and more blurry than the first generation. The motion detection on this one doesn’t capture motion as good as the first generation. These things are very disappointing as many of us here upgraded and feel let down. Hopefully this will improve with a software update. The colors also look more muted compared to the first generation!That said, if you don’t already have the previous version, this is still a solid buy. I replaced two first-generation Ring Floodlight Pros with this new 4K version, and both performed exactly the same—so it’s not a case of a defective unit.
