Excellent Upgrade for Anyone Who Needs a Battery-Powered Doorbell
I’ve used several Ring products over the years, and the Ring Battery Doorbell Pro was just as easy to install as I expected. Since I’m in a condo and can’t easily run doorbell wiring, I was excited to see a Pro version that runs on a removable battery. Setup was straightforward—charge the battery, install the mounting bracket, attach the doorbell, and complete the setup in the Ring app.The video quality is excellent. The image is sharp and detailed, and the wide-angle view provides a great look at visitors and packages near the door. The enhanced zoom feature is also a nice addition when you need a closer look at something in the recording. Night vision performance has been very good as well.One of my favorite features is the quick-release battery pack, which makes recharging much easier than having to remove the entire doorbell from the wall. I’m still experimenting with the motion detection and recording settings to find the right balance between performance and battery life, but so far I’m very pleased with the results.This is a great option for anyone who wants premium Ring features but doesn’t have access to existing doorbell wiring. Ring Battery Doorbell 4K Pro
I just upgraded my Ring Doorbell Plus 2020 with this Ring Battery Doorbell 4K Pro, and the difference is night and day. I've now got a device that supports my 5GHZ band using Wi-Fi 7 technology, 4x the resolution, HDR, 10x zoom, 3D motion, and smarter motion detection... just to name a few upgrades.Installation was super simple. It comes with a slim profile mounting plate that requires only two screws to attach. The doorbell just hooks onto it and there's a small screw inside the doorbell that screws to the bottom. It is very sturdy. I have connected it using the 5GHZ band with Wi-Fi 7 features enabled on my router, giving an a consistent RSSI -33 connection.In conclusion, I would say that this Ring Battery Doorbell 4K Pro was absolutely worth it for me at the current price of $179.99. I got quite the upgrade for that, and I highly recommend it at this price point.Ver másVer menos

Worth Every Penny - Easy Setup
I just purchased and installed the RING 4K RETINAL with Battery. The first thing I noted is that it is very solid and robust. Just feels like it is higher grade. As always mounting was simple and straight forward. When you recharge this camera you only need to remove the battery which is very straight forward. In otherwords the camera now stays in place and only the battery is removed for charging allowing a quick swap if you purchase a second battery. That is a plus. Secondly mounting was straight forward and easy but be aware the new mounting plate will not match up with every former Ring Dorbell version, but good news it is only a 2 screw mount. For my install I had two previous holes that lined up perfectly. Set up was a breeze as always, Typical NAMEING, UPDATE SEQUENCE, FEATURE CHOICES & PAIRING WITH CHIME. All simple and nearly automatic but certainly intuitive. NO SUPRISES! The Picture quality and live view has exceptional Clarity. Even the color somehow seems better. All around a well deserved 5 stars! I would give it a sixth star if I could. Finally at $250.00 it may not be for everybody but if it is within your budget it is money well spent and worth every penny! I used my former Ring Dorbell at a second location at my home, renamed it to its new spot so it does not goto waste. Great Job RING! BTW I just ordered the new PEEP HOLE cam for my Mother in Law. She is really really short and has never been able to see out of her Peep Hole. I love my Ring System :)Ver másVer menos

Durable camera and great features
I upgraded from the first gen pro to a second. Impressed with the camera features, picture quality. Easy to install. I do like that the battery from the first gen can be used on the newer version. I found the charging cable to be useless so I used a different cord.Screws that come with it to use for the mount didn’t seem as secure so I used more durable screws.Could be a pro or con but it seems it would be that it’s easier to remove the camera from the wall mount (if someone really wanted to) than the first gen.Would recommend getting a second battery if you don’t already have one so you don’t have to wait for battery to recharge.Price is a little scary on the battery pro 2nd gen but so far I’m happy with the ring camera and all the cool features.Ver másVer menos

OK so I initially was unhappy with it because of the issues with the motion however I figured out that if you set the birds eye to 20 feet and then want more motion you have to turn on bird eye extend it to 30 feet and then turn off bird eye, so you get more notifications. As I was missing a lot of modifications on the new one compared to my old model, but didn’t know that was the caveat that caused me to have issues initially also, if you plan on using it with Alexa and want to change how quickly your doorbell answers with Alexa you have to first put smart responses built in to the doorbell time, you want to answer after being wrong and then turn it off and then turn Alexa on. Got greatest assistance from The at the Ring team very happy that they followed up kept the item because the quality is very sharp and the audio is very clear as always. It was easy to set up after a couple of hurdles. The camera quality is 4K and was easy to use. Highly recommend recommended.Ver másVer menos

Easy To Use Everyday With High Quality Function
Simply an easy video doorbell to setup, physically install, and use daily. With its ‘pro’ features, it makes keeping up with what’s happening at your door work without you having to figure everything out. The smart notifications about people and events provide excellent information and are quite accurate (even accurately telling me it saw my daughter and two Goldendoodles or that it saw me carrying a blue bucket.) The video quality with 4K is superb, giving the user the ability to actually see text on shirts and/or packages as well as to identify faces. The 10x enhanced zoom provides an even greater level of clarity. The doorbell’s Audio+ gives super clear voice on both ends of the conversation. The radar makes motion detection extremely accurate as well as providing the direction of a person’s arrival and departure before and after they’re near your door.Battery life is the only thing about this smart doorbell that is not great. It is probably a good idea to invest in either a spare battery (since the battery is removable) or to look into one of the Ring approved ways to keep the battery charged, such as the solar mount.The wifi 6 connectivity provides the doorbell with a faster operation that, at least in theory, should get you as the user quicker notifications and snapshots of what the Ring doorbell is catching on video.In terms of price point, you are getting what you pay for with this high quality video doorbell.Ver másVer menos
