Reliable Enough to Buy Twice
This is my second Microsoft Surface purchase, and once again it exceeded my expectations!I originally purchased a Microsoft Surface Laptop for myself as a teacher. I use it every day, and it has been incredibly fast, reliable, and responsive. It doesn’t lag, and the battery life is excellent, making it perfect for both work and everyday use.Because I was so impressed with my own laptop, I decided to purchase the Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 as a high school graduation gift for my daughter as she prepares to transition to college this fall. I wanted her to have a dependable, high-performing laptop that would support her throughout her studies.If my experience is any indication, I know she’ll love it just as much as I love mine. Beautiful laptop
I was leary about purchasing a used laptop but this looks and operates as if new out of the box. I put a laptop sleeve on it and after linking my MS Operating subscriptions I ran updates, scans, and my third party software with zero issues.Cons, If you run multiple externals you will require a docking system, and the charger while functionally ok was not a proper 65w fast charger.Ver másVer menos

Great Laptop, Great Value for the Money. You Won’t Regret It.
I’m aware that this laptop was originally released in late 2022, which means it’s already close to being 4 years old. This entire review takes that into consideration.I bought it renewed from the CTech II store, and it arrived extremely well packaged, although obviously not in the original box. When I opened it, the laptop looked brand new. Everything was ready to start the setup process, and the entire experience was flawless.I’ve had the laptop for almost a month now. I’ve already used it both at home and while traveling. I personally dislike any kind of power saving mode, so I always run it at maximum performance, even on battery power. Because of that, it doesn’t get anywhere near the advertised 18 hours of battery life, but the battery still lasts very well. If you use it for basic tasks with battery saver enabled, it can probably last almost an entire day.The computer is fast and never freezes or stutters. It doesn’t feel lacking in any way. I bought it for everyday use, teaching classes while connected to a projector, streaming content, light gaming, and other less demanding tasks. I use another, more powerful laptop for video editing, photo editing, and heavy gaming.My experience has been excellent, and every time I turn it on, I’m glad I bought it.Ver másVer menos
