A Gorgeous Laptop and a Worthwhile Upgrade!
I recently upgraded from my Surface Pro 7 to the Surface Laptop 5, and so far, I'm thoroughly impressed! This is a gorgeous laptop, with a sleek design, premium feel, and a form factor that's just about perfect. Everything feels snappy and responsive, and the overall experience has been a meaningful upgrade from my Surface Pro 7.One minor hiccup was that Secure Boot was disabled when I first powered it on, resulting in a rather glaring red lock icon across the top of the screen. Thankfully, it was an easy fix, and everything has been smooth sailing since.Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. The Surface Laptop 5 strikes a wonderful balance between aesthetics, performance, and practicality. It's exactly what I was hoping for in an upgrade!Ver másVer menos

Great Deal Renewed for Laptop 5
I will give it a 5 star now. I just got it. It is in good condition. It came packed well, in bubble wrap and was well protected. It was clean and no blemishes. It has the i7 1265U on board and 16 GB DDR5 ram. It has the WiFi 6 which is all you need. No one needs Wifi 7 right now. And it has the 512 GB drive so it was as expected. This model comes with Alcantara® on the deck. It is a nice add on feature. It booted up quick and updated. I think for anyone this model will be all you need. It was a great price. So far I have not seen how long the battery lasts. Seems I will get about 8 hours. I never believe advertised life they tell me. But 8 hours is more than enough before I need to charge it.Ver másVer menos

Defective item. Please don’t buy it and save your time and money.
Item arrived defective and is unusable. During the initial Windows setup, the laptop repeatedly malfunctioned. The screen goes black even though I can still hear the Windows setup audio running in the background. When the setup screen does appear, the built-in keyboard, trackpad, and touchscreen do not respond, so I cannot even complete the initial setup. The laptop also arrived with an extremely low battery and has had difficulty powering back on even after being connected to the charger. I have attempted basic restarting and charging, but the problems persist. This is a renewed laptop, but it was advertised as functional and should not arrive with major display and input problems that make it unusable. I am requesting a full refund for a defective item. Stuck at language screen even after hard resetting.Ver másVer menos

Great Laptop. Arrived as advertised.
I received the Surface Laptop 5 - Refurbished (excellent) and it is just as advertised. The laptop looks as good as new. Hopefully no issues with it in the near future as I use it more. The only minor issues are that it has the "red bar lock icon" showing up on the boot up screen. I may need to wipe/reset the laptop and reinstall Windows to have proper security protocols set up. Other than that, great device.Ver másVer menos

I absolutely love my Microsoft 13.5-inch touchscreen laptop! The screen is clear and responsive, the design is sleek, and it works perfectly for both schoolwork and everyday use. It's lightweight, easy to carry around, and has been a great addition to my school essentials. The quality is impressive, and I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Definitely worth it!Ver másVer menos

Windows wasn't properly installed. Ok machine once sorted out.
Received the laptop in ok physical condition for a refurbished unit. It powered up fine, set it up with my email etc but could not access system settings and many other functions. Determined that the Windows system installation had been corrupted or incomplete. I initially was going to return the laptop but really needed it so I ended up downloading a full windows installation from Microsoft and did a complete fresh install. Laptop works fine now except the touchscreen isn't fully working. A rather disappointing experience overall for the price that I paid.Ver másVer menos
