  Just get it!

  Been using this for two days now and everything is great. I have a dual Xeon workstation and gaming PC connected via KVM. After I got everything hooked up I maxed out the refresh rate at 240 Hz. Right off the bat I got really bad flickering, like multiple flickers per second and only happened at 240Hz. Fortunately, the problem was with my DP cable. Even though it was a Dp 1.4 it just couldn't support that high of a signal. Bought a new one. switched it out, and everything is great.Now, if you were like me I hesitated because my monitor is shared for work and play. I didn't know how bad the text would be considering how that is not a strong suit. The text isn't as sharp as my previous monitor but not a big deal at all. As a matter of fact, I am already used to it and don't think about it anymore.The blacks on this thing is absolutely amazing. The colors are so vibrant and rich and gaming looks so much better, even compared to a non OLED 4k monitor.The one thing that I was not too thrilled about is the auto dimming feature. If I switched from my desktop to MS word, you would see some minor dimming. I found out this is part of the built-in screen saving options. Not sure which ones so I turned them all off. I am not overly worried about burn-in. If it happens then I will use my 3-year warranty. By the way, make sure you register the monitor on Asus's site.Now, add this to your cart and check out.UPDATE: I just upgraded to the PG27UCDM (review above was for the XG27AQDMG). For some reason Amazon won't let me write an independent review, even though it is a different model so I am including it in this review. Without exaggeration, this may be the best monitor ever. It just took a few minutes to change the settings based on what I like. The colors are so vibrant and blacks are so deep. I seriously cannot think of anything on which to improve the quality on this monitor, except for one. There is noticeable flicking if I have VRR enabled. Certainly not a deal breaker but you can see it flicker if you pay close enough attention. Other than that, it's perfect and worth the $$$$.Ver másVer menos

  Fantastic OLED Monitor and Worth the Upgrade

  I've been extremely impressed with this monitor. The colors, contrast, and motion clarity are incredible and the 240Hz refresh rate makes everything feel very smooth. It's very gaming friendly and the image quality exceeded my expectations.The stand offers plenty of adjustability, making it easy to find a comfortable position and the included ports and features add a lot of versatility. Setup was simple, and I've attached a picture from my setup to show how it looks in actual use.Overall, I highly recommend this monitor if you're looking for a premium 1440p gaming experience.Ver másVer menos

  Crazy Difference

  Absolutely insane in the difference. I came from a 165hz 1080p IPS monitor (monitor on right in the pic is a 75hz 1080p IPS) and the difference is crazy good. Not only in the colors, but the pixel quality too.Starting off with the colors, I mean do I even have to say anything? It’s an OLED and everyone knows how crazy good the colors on them are. I’ve had it for about two months now and I already have the OLED curse where every other TV or monitor looks mid now. The blacks and contrast in color is the best I’ve ever seen. I like the black and white backgrounds the most but colorful games (like geometry dash) looks incredible.Next is the frame rate. I have an rtx 4070 super and a 7800x3d so I still get the full 240hz on most games in 1440p ultra (except cyberpunk or modded Skyrim lmao). The 240hz is definitely an incredible difference from 165hz and is VERY noticeable in Rainbow Six Siege and Halo.Overall, the monitor is great and feels very premium to open, set up, and use (as it should for the price). I would highly recommend this monitor if you have the budget for it. I was going to get a cheaper AOC model one for like $399 but getting the gen 5 OLED panel with the better blacks in light (not turning purple like older gen panels) is very much worth it after watching video comparisons. I was the first one in my family to get an OLED and now my brothers are getting ones too (this exact one actually) and my dad is buying an OLED TV so the that for what you will.Ver másVer menos

  Great gaming monitor!!

  Love it! Have had it for maybe 3 weeks now no issues. Picture quality is great u definitely need the right HDMI cord that can support the type of quality u are trying to stream. Xbox supports 4K and comes with 2.1HDMI so I am able to use 4k at 60hz for watching things on this monitor and it will activate the HDR settings at that point.The only “con” I would say which isn’t really a con just an annoying thing is the pixel cleaning. I make sure to do it whenever I have the pop up bc I don’t want burn it but it takes like 6 minutes and sometimes I just wanna get right on and play but I have to wait. But it’s worth it for the longevity of the monitor. U do need speakers it has no speakers. I did see some flickering at one point I never knew what that was before but I only saw it the one time and after fixing my settings to turnoff VRR it stopped so that’s good. Picture quality u will have to mess with the setting a lot to see what u like best but there are 2 settings save slots so u can save ur settings and load them.I have1 setting for when im gaming i jus hit to load that pre saved setup and the when I watching something i switch to my other saved settings so i dont have to go through and change everything all the time.Also for playing games, I play rivals mostly, that cross hair feature is lowkey a cheat bc I can better see my cross hair than the actual game crosshair and it has a dynamic function so it changes colors depending on the colors on the screen so it’s never hard to see it always does a contrasting color to make it easier to see. It has come in handy a lot. In the photo that Red Crosshair on the screen that’s the one I’m talking about that it a feature of the monitor that’s not from the game.Definitely is worth the money. I used amazons payment plan bc it is kinda expensive but I think it’s worth it and I like the rainbow color lighting effects the symbol does on the back it’s cuteeee.Ver másVer menos

  First time OLED User

  I absolutely love this monitor! This is my first OLED monitor, and I decided to make the upgrade as I was completely revamping my setup.First things first: the OLED panel - Super crisp. The colors are exceptionally vibrant, and every game just looks better to the eyes. The 240hz refresh rate is a nice plus, although I will say, I did not notice any real difference by jumping from a 180hz monitor to 240hz.Next, is the size - At 27", this monitor delivers amazing 1440P quality. At first, I was hesitant to downsize from a 32" 1440P to a 27". However, I genuinely don't even feel like I have noticed a significant difference, especially as I also upgraded my VESA Mount to an articulating mount, that allows me to pull the monitor closer to me. Most people buying this product are probably looking for a monitor that will fit their gaming needs, and the 27" size, feels more than perfect when it comes to any of the games I play (TacFPS, MOBA, etc.). I don't think I would go back to a 32" monitor for a main gaming monitor.This monitor (probably) won't magically make you rank up, but it will give you an edge in most games thanks to the high refresh rate, vibrant colors, and overall quality. And even if you don't rank up, you will definitely enjoy your gaming experience much more when you're playing on a monitor as nice as this one.Ver másVer menos

  This thing is fantastic

  The picture quality is stunning with vibrant colors, deep blacks, and excellent clarity.
