Perfect Experience
I highly recommend this camera for outdoor/indoor use. The picture is always clear, color and sound also on point and it even allows you to zoom. Easy to set up through the app, easy to install to wall and adjust to your liking. It charges well through usb. I ordered the one with the solar charger but haven’t used it yet but it is great to have for when I no longer want to remove camera to charge myself. I’m sure the solar charger will work just as great. Very great quality for the price and it performs wonderfully. I have no complaints. If your video seems to have trouble connecting, get a wifi extender to set up closer to the camera that will help a ton.Ver másVer menos

Powerful camera and no electricity required!
Powerful camera for an incredible price! The video quality is exceptional, day or night.I have mine set to record a movie when it detects motion, and it not only alerts me, it sends a snapshot to my Apple Watch!They packed a lot of features into this little camera, the best feature is the solar panel to keep it charged and powered without having to run an electrical cord!It has a really nice iPhone interface app, that has so many setting options I haven't even gone through all of them. I have mine set with motion detection, and at night it flashes a light when motion is detected. An audible alarm is an option but I have mine turned off.It stores the videos on the micro-SD card. You can purchase cloud storage but I don't see where that's really necessary, since the SD card can store a lot. There is a free trial if you want to take advantage of that option.You can turn off notifications and you can also schedule a "sleep" mode so it's not monitoring when you don't want it to, this would save battery but so far the battery has been getting fully charged every day.Very happy with my purchase and I will be adding more!Ver másVer menos

Camera hardware is excellent - Device compatibility could be better
First the pros of this camera... The camera hardware you get for this price is of excellent quality. The camera seems very well made, same for the solar panel which plugs into the camera via USB-C to charge the device. The image quality is decent. Night mode works very well when in infrared mode (default). The EOOEIES companion app allows for easy setup of the device and viewing videos. The camera also offers a built-in alarm, light, and 2-way communication. It also offers a micro-SD slot to store recorded videos locally.Now for the cons...If you are a computer power user like myself and would like to manage your camera from your PC, you can forget it with this device. There seems to be no EOOEIES web portal, or even software to install on Windows or Mac to easily manage your camera. You must use your phone. Seems ridiculous when I have a PC with dual 24" displays, yet to access my security camera footage, I must go grab my 7" smartphone, and load up the EOOEIES app to review my videos. To get videos from the camera to my PC, I must download them through the EOOEIES app, connect my phone to my PC, and transfer the video files over. A smartphone is required to use this thing, period (aside from an Android emulator). Adding the ability to access the EOOEIES service through PC/browser would be a plus. I believe a lot of these budget security cameras seem to suffer the same lack of functionality.And then there's also the concern on how much this device relies on its cloud based service just to function. The developer could discontinue the service at any time, and once that happens, I believe this camera would become a paperweight. Also, the service is based from a questionable provider most likely out of China. My work's internet firewall has this camera's service blocked (so I must use mobile data to view videos from the camera while I am at work). It would be nice if this unit could also function as an IP camera, where you could stream its video to a device locally.Speaking of the cloud service, my recommendation is to purchase a micro-SD card and install it in the camera. I tried the plus plan, and have already canceled the renewal. Ther "AI recognition" is questionable at best. Oftentimes, it identifies my banana trees within view as "a person wandering around", and has identified a pet and parked vehicle when neither existed. They sell this device for cheap to try to hook you into paying for a subscription. This again comes back to how the device relies on its companion app to function.I'm on the fence on whether I will purchase additional cameras for other parts of my property. It does a good job, but is limited by its reliance on the cloud service and the requirement of a smartphone. If you only use a smartphone, you'll feel right at home with this camera. If you primarily use a PC, you might be disappointed.

Bang for your buck.
Has really good clear picture along with good night vision. Captures everything in 10 seconds intervals if there is even a slight movement. We opted for the solar panel option and it has not let us down yet, charges in the day and runs with zero problems at night. Gives a big wide view, perfect for front of the house. Easy to use, easy installation for anyone that's into diy. High quality camera , definitely a good value. App is easy to set up, and super easy to use.Ver másVer menos
