  One of the better cat harnesses

  This is nearly a perfect cat harness. It's easy to get on and off, and very adjustable. Almost a minimalist harness, it's only the chest plate that covers more than it needs to. The chest plate is the only reason this isn't a perfect harness for cats -- it's slightly wide, just enough that it prompts my cat to walk a little funny. Not bad though, and not restrictive; still easy to run, jump, and play in. Not likely to be an issue with dogs. It doesn't matter much to me, but the handle of the leash has a soft material on the inside for human comfort.Ver másVer menos

  Love the clasp at the neck

  I never used a cat harness before and previously ordered one from a different brand for my 8 month old. Well I didn't know to check if it had clasps at both the neck and chest before buying, and the one I got had a high rating. Anyway, it turns out you had to pull over the head and had a very small opening, yet the chest portion was too loose. I love this harness much better. It has clasps both for the neck and one for each side of the chest - so I never have to force her legs into an opening either. And it's adjustable at all points. Much less annoying for her. I haven’t used it long term yet but it seems well made so I do not foresee issues. Now I'm ordering another for her brother!Ver másVer menos

  Short for a dachshund body, but easy to put on

  This is the 3rd harness we've tried for our 19-pound doxie mix. Despite his 12" neck and 20" chest, the medium was too big and we had to go with the small. Still, the proportions were not perfect for a long body...the connector strip down the back from the neck to the chest straps isn't long enough, pulling and causing the top of the neck strap to curl under. Ultimately it became uncomfortable for our dog so I opened and extended the connector strip at the back loop where it was 4 layers thick and sewed it at a still adequate 2 layers thick an inch longer. Fit problem solved! It was worth the work because the extra neck strap buckle lets you put this harness on without having to pull it over the head (or make the dog step in). I wish it would have had more durable metal buckles because the plastic ones are cheap and sometimes hard to latch.Ver másVer menos

  Beautiful color...my cat hates it

  This is a well-made attractive harness and leash. It's easy to put on and at a good price. My cat hates it, but then he's hated any he's had since he was a tiny wee kitten. He jumps and writhes as though he were possessed by a million fleas and within 15 minutes he's managed to get it off *or* get a leg or two through the another opening. One time he was so snarled up in it he was only able to lay there and howl. It's not the fault of the collar, but then it's what I get for naming a kitten Mephistopheles.Ver másVer menos

  Read this for cat sizing… (x-harness)

  I had to reorder a bigger size for my cat. I went off of reviews and the cat recommendation from the seller, so sized down. That was a mistake. I got the XS for my cat and could not even clip it… I skipped up to the medium, and it is great. I wanted some wiggle room incase his weight fluctuates so did not got for the Small, as it would have fit only on its maxed setting.Harness:The type I got was the x-hardness (not the t-harness) for both sizes. The XS maxed out at 15.5-16 inches (can’t count the buckle crossover). The Medium gets smaller than 17 on the waist for those curious. I figured the jump in size would make it too big, but he has yet to get out of it. This harness does not cause chocking if they get caught on something and does not impede shoulder-blade movement.Cat size:I took my cats measurements with a fabric measuring tape (8.5in neck and 17in waist). I have a relatively large cat (not fat, just a giant lean boy per my vet haha; not a Maine Coon. He is 11 months old.). If you have a big cat, don’t get the XS x-harness… I don’t mean a fat cat, I just mean over 8 months (unless your cat is below average size). I would stick to the Small for an average cat or a big cat that is lean (with no wiggle room for weight fluctuations). Medium if you have a large cat or fat cat (you will have some more wiggle room for fluctuations with this size). Again this review is only for the x-harness, not the t-harness.Ver másVer menos
