  Very cute, but definitely measure!

  Bought the pink polka dot and it is super cute on my white Maltipoo Mix 8 month old pup, though I'm being told she looks more like a poodle. Bought her a medium and it just barely fits. I didn't go by measurements, just winged it and I don't recommend doing that. It fits her spot on, so if it stretches out a little with usage, it will be perfect. If she grows I'll need to order the next size up. Very nice material and easy to slip on and remove. The leash is a perfect length for myself and my kids and we love how bright the colors pop against her white fur.Ver másVer menos

  Well made - consider sizing

  This harness is adorable and well made. What was important to me was having both a velcro closure and a snap plus a D-ring for leash and safety belt. The sizing is hard....I bought a large based on their sizing chart that should fit 5.5 - 9.9 lbs. My girl is about 8.5# and it's rather loose on her. But she is comfortable in it and never tries to get out of it (she could if she wanted). So, if I bought again, I would go smaller. She only wears it when she goes to work with me and on those days, she wears it all day and while socializing with other pups and people and she seems to be completely comfortable with it (at home she is naked). The leash isn't anything to be impressed about. For me it was a great purchase for a well made harness that is also very cute!Ver másVer menos

  Honest thoughts on this adorable harness

  There are really great aspects to this harness, but a few surprises as well. (Nothing horrible, mind you, but I’m taking the time to write this review in order to help any readers make a slightly more fully informed decision as to whether this harness is or isn’t the right one their pups’ needs.THE GOOD STUFF: 1) this polka dot harness really is sooo cute; 2) its pink & white coloring arrived in exactly the same shades as they had appeared to be in the listing pics; 3) the hard plastic buckle and D rings seem solid and sturdy; and 4) the size L that I ordered fits my 10.5 lb. Shih Tzu perfectly, i.e. it’s snug, yet comfortable.THE CAUTIONARY STUFF: 1) The underside of the harness is mesh, which is great, but the topside fabric was unexpected — almost feels like a mid-weight cotton, maybe? Not sure, but whatever the material, be aware that it does NOT stretch. Also, 2) the two Velcro closure tabs are basically 1” x 1”, which works fine for our dog since the size L fits her exactly, but might not do as well for dogs nearer the top or bottom of the sizing ranges. Granted, the buckle used alone might add a skosh more flexibility, but probably not a lot since it’s not adjustable. 3) Our harness set is brand new out of the box, so I freely admit that I could be wrong about this last caution, but the *feel* of the material makes me think it might not be easy to keep clean. Maybe that’s just in my head b/c it feels like cotton to me, but I’ll mention it anyway. If I remember later, I’ll come back once it needs cleaning to update on how that goes.BOTTOM LINE: I’m very happy with this cute, cute pink polka dot harness and leash set. Looks as precious as can be on our Shih Tzu and fits like a glove! But … in case your particular pet doesn’t land solidly in the seller’s size chart, perhaps the above info will be helpful.Ver másVer menos

  Great quality and price! SiZe up!

  My puppy definitely hates collars. She’s not super fond of any accessories, but this one she’ll at least suffice with. I’m shocked at the quality of this item especially for the price we got it for! I’m impressed!! Love that it comes with a leash as well. It definitely runs small, so think about sizing up depending on how much your pup will grow. There’s not really a way to adjust the size since it’s just one buckle and Velcro that hold it together, but for the price it’s definitely worth it. It’s nice knowing that I’m not choking her when I have to tug on the leash. She’s an 8 week old corgi pomsky and I ordered a size M for her. There’s still some space for her to grow as well.Ver másVer menos
