Installation was a breeze and the image quality is awesome
After some initial issues setting up the homebase, the system now is up and running and fully meeting my expectations. Thanks to the very responsive customer support team, they shipped me a replacement homebase as the original one somehow froze up after the initial firmware upgrade during set-up. The replacement homebase installed as the app was walking me through the steps and configured itself right away. Adding the cameras was ease and intuitive. I have read many reviews about WiFi range complains. I have the opposite experience. Even the furthest away camera with one-bar signal strength (the app recommended me to move it closer to the homebase, but I opted to see how that spot would work) is working flawlessly and providing great image quality and motion detection. I'm surprised how far the signal reaches and am very happy with the system performance. I can totally see myself adding more cameras as I see fit in the future. I also upgraded the internal memory to 128GB and the app alerted me right after swapping the cards that I had to format the new card and walked me through the steps. Very customer friendly interface and app, very intuitive. I'm now tuning the camera angle vs. image vs. motion detection range. I opted to use the indoor magnetic mounts for outdoors, as they are very strong and easy to adjust. I'm planning on marking the location of the camera on the mount, so that I put it back to the original position after having to charge them next year. Amazing Cameras, Fantastic Customer Service, Easy to Use & Set-Up
My roommates have moved out; I live as a student in an urban gentrifying city; and my community has also been attempting to crack down on small crimes such having packages stolen. I felt it was necessary to purchase a set of home security cameras to ensure my own and my community's safety. I had been cross-shopping and researching home security cameras, namely between Eufy vs. Netgear Arlo. I ultimately chose Eufy's camera system after watching and reading numerous reviews owing to its the long battery life, simplicity of design, and the lauded reputation of Anker/Eufy.The package arrived quickly in a well-organized box. Ease of setup was phenomenal:1. Eufy provides all the templates needed to correctly drill the magnetic attachment to the wall (I highly recommend using a power drill). The camera feels securely attached to the magnetic holder.2. Syncing to the base station was fast and had a constant, stable, reliable wireless connection.3. Installing the app, registering for an account, and pairing all the cameras took less than 30 minutes total.Use of the camera is awesome. The application interface to access the cameras is similar to Netgear Arlo. It is littered with options to customize how an operator would like to receive notifications, set alarms, schedule times, etc. I love using my security camera to spy on my cat. Battery life has been amazing; its been nearly 2 months since install and the battery remains over 80% even with constant use. We feel infinitely safer simply having the cameras around.Customer service has also been phenomenal. My front door camera had a defect where moisture collected in the lens causing the picture to become blurred. I contacted Eufy customer service through the app. I was quickly connected to my representative Kayla, who lead me through the process of sending me a brand-new replacement camera and coordinating the return of the defective one. Kayla continued to monitor my service inquiry and even sent me a follow-up email asking whether the replacement camera arrived and if it functioned properly. Although the replacement camera took some time to arrive, Eufy provided a free-of-charge return label.Overall, I highly recommend this camera system for so many reasons! I have no regrets on the purchase nor can I offer much feedback on improving the camera. Both the cameras and app are well-designed and intuitive, the battery life lasts forever, and picture quality is crystal clear. However, I am looking forward to Eufy integrating their cameras with Apple's Homekit system.Ver másVer menos

Simple Setup; Solid App; Motion Detection OK for the camera model
Camera Type & Environment:I own a corner property in West Philadelphia, with a lot of foot and car traffic. I originally bought a 3-pack Eufycam E in December, to be placed on the exterior of the property: one on garage, one on front door, one on tenant's entrance.Reactions:Day 1 - I charged and synced all 3 cameras. 2 of the cameras worked perfectly and could catch the wi-fi signal through the brick walls in order to be placed outside, with the furthest camera about 30-35 feet away from Homebase. However, the 3rd camera from the moment of setup had weak wi-fi connection, so I placed that one outside a window, directly next to the Homebase.After 1 Month - I realized the cameras were picking up far too many motion detections. I dropped sensitivity to 70%, I used all three activity zones trying to narrow the detection area. The battery was also dying much quicker than advertised, largely because I live in a high foot traffic area. In 3 months, I have had to take down the cameras and recharge them each one time.After 2 Months - The one camera had connection issues like 10% of the time the first month. By February, it wasn't connecting at all. I tried turning on/off, removing/resyncing camera, etc. I even tried moving it to different locations, including inside the house, directly next to the Homebase. Still didn't work. I placed the working cameras in those same positions, and they worked, so I knew it was a bad device. So I reached out to Customer Service via phone.Customer Service Experience:I had read that Eufy's customer service was one reason people bought Eufy. I can attest to that positive sentiment. Not only was the rep (Christian) very positive and knowledgeable, he was very quick. They emailed me a pre-paid postage to return the old device. The new camera showed up within 3-4 days and it works perfectly.Overall:I am happy with the purchase of the 3-pack + homebase & 1 add-on camera, all for about $510 after taxes. The app is solid, but I wish you could put notifications on snooze longer - they become distracting at work. The wi-fi seems to work at distances of 30-35 feet (probably more). The motion detection kind of catches everything, but I know I didn't buy the model that has AI built in to recognize humans etc. Maybe that would be good for a busy area. Installation was super simple and I'm not too worried about the battery draining in 1-2 months. Part of that is my fault for probably having the motion detection too sensitive, but it only takes a few hours to fully charge, if you have a fast charger.Recommendation for Software Update:If there is a way to add more activity zone areas (currently max of 3), or somehow allow it to be different shapes, not just a square/rectangle. Because of natural angles from camera view, if I want to only detect my yard along a fence that is 45 degrees in the camera angle, then the activity zone will need to push out into the sidewalk - which detects every human that is walking on the busy sidewalk.

Excellent video performance! Very pleased
I looked at other systems but went with Eufy because, at the time I purchased the system they were the only company that didn’t require a cloud storage subscription. It has a home base unit that securely stores videos locally and allows users to remotely access videos over the internet. I bought two additional cameras to add to the 3-camera system I purchased. The other reason I went with Eufy is because of the 1-year battery life claim. It’s now over a year for the first 3 cameras and two still have 3/4 charge. The other has 1/2 charge. Impressive! The remaining cameras are at 3/4 charge. I bought them about a month after my initial purchase. I bought the system to be able to remotely monitor a second vacation home.Installing the system and linking the cameras is very easy. The settings allow the user to adjust motion sensitivity to avoid nuisance notifications. I still get occasional notifications for wind blowing bushes and trees or insects flying through the detection zone. Proper adjustment of the motion sensitivity is important to preserving battery life of the cameras.The deer in the first screen shot was from last fall and I provided it to show the clarity of the picture. The second shows the result of a snow storm from last night providing info about the possible road conditions to get up there. The third is the primary reason I bought the system. I don’t know who this guy is or what he was doing on my driveway. It appeared he was looking at my snow blower tracks leading into my garage. I was not there at the time. The system provides the ability to talk remotely but he was gone before I could engage him with a chat.Ver másVer menos

Recommend system
We already had a home security system for exterior access protection and a video camera inside but have been thinking about additional exterior video monitoring for some time and recently made the decision after a nearby home invasion during daylight hours not too far from our home. Did some extensive research online and searched reviews but what I really liked about this system is that there is no need to pay for a monthly fee for monitoring. Setup was pretty easy but I had watched a Youtube prior to purchasing. I did have to call customer support because I was having some difficulty adding my husband so that we could both access the system. Critical suggestions-this system is only available in white and if you’re putting outside and trying to be discreet black would be better. The one on my front porch was no issue because my trim is white. I would also consider making and selling silicone skins. We mounted 2 of the cameras on trees. We purchased some camo for another brand of camera which were a little small but since we only needed 2 we took the third one in the package and cut off a piece to cover the white area. We will be painting the mounting bracket in the next few days to make it less noticeable. The quality of the picture is excellent and the video quality is very good. Comes with a quick start guide and unfortunately after contacting Eufy there is no owners manual to describe the many additional features. I found an excellent YouTube video which detailed unboxing,setup and use which was excellent. All in all we are very happy with this system and is quite easy to use once you figure it out on your own due to LACK OF MANUAL.Ver másVer menos

Eufy security system is great.
I researched Securiry cameras for 2 months and I purchased the Eufy E security System with 3 camera and the Eufy doorbell. Like I had seen these cameras are great. They put up easy and the picture quality is excellent and the price is good. Have not had any problems with false alerts. The batteries so far seem to hold up well but only had it going for a week but I have played with it constantly and batteries still show full charge. The doorbell camera is wired in and works great. The only thing I wished was different is that the doorbell doesn’t tie into the Eufy hub. It’s all on the Eufy App so it works fine. Excellent system and set up was so easy.Ver másVer menos

ABSOLUTELY NO WIRES, W/1 YEAR BATTERY LIFE **&** No Greedy $$$ $ucking CONTRACTS = STRAIGHT GENIUS
I'm a Licensed Contactor, A Real Estate Broker & A Landlord. IN Short? I'm on my 7th Unit at this point. It takes me less than 1/2 hour to fully install the entire unit and have it live on my cell phone. I start by charging the cameras for 4 or 5 hours each...seeing that they plug up to a regular micro connector? I plug all three in at once and in few hours or over night? I'm ready to put them up. I walk in and say 'did you download the Eufy App that I told you to get? Then 3 minutes later the camera is being seen thru the phone and I'm asking 'hows this view' while hold in the camera where they asked it to be installed. Picture is AMAZING, Install is fast, the battery and the product is killing the competition...DId I say I was a Lorex Camera Customer??? Lorex DOESNT HAVE AN ANSWER FOR THE EUFY!! And?? Easy to set up, easy to use! No monthly fees.
I love it. The app is powerful yet easy to use. It took a while playing with it to learn all the features, but once you get it, the interface is user-friendly.(The cameras can all be set up differently. One can be set to always alarm and another can be set to only alarm when no one is home. The pictures are clear, even in the dark.The geo-fence is a great feature. If my phone is in the zone, then I am home. If my phone is not in the zone, then I am not at home. Eufy switches modes accordingly. I love it! HOWEVER, geofence is still a Beta feature and I found that after using geofence for a while, every so often it would decide that I was not home (when I was) and then the alarms would go off when I moved around. So now I won't use geofence again until it is not beta anymore.Ver másVer menos

5 Stars home security surveillance system
This system is simply amazing. It is simple to setup and use but powerful in it's functions. The 1080 p picture quality and night vision is great. I bought the Eufy Cam E with 3 cameras mounted at the Front facing the garage, side and back of house. I had to adjust the motion sensitivity as cars passing on the street and the neighbours coming from their back gate would trigger it. And this system has no monthly subcription fee and content saved locally to the base station. I just got it a few days ago so I cannot comment on the 365 days battery life.Overall, I am happy with the purchase! By the way they have good customer support for technical help.Ver másVer menos

Nice product, very good for Apple, but having an issues with Android.
Nice product. Good buttery. Good picture quality during the day time.. Very good for Apple, but having an issues with Android. When using all 3 cameras. Android phone is stoping notifications during the high trafic within a few minutes. Need to uninstall and reinstall Eufi app to get notifications back.This issue does not exist on my wife's Apple phone.Ver másVer menos

Great Product
Easy to setup and crystal clear picture. Activity zones make all the difference in minimizing false alarms and make the Eufy a great but. The local storage and no cloud contract is a no brainers for our cottage since we have limited data services in our area. I have not had any problem with distance from the base at 60'. Prefer the magnetic mount, but I was hoping it would be more secure. Video quality is perfect in the day and still very visible at night.My only real complaint is that it is $200 CAD higher than on the US site for the 3 Camera kit.Ver másVer menos
