Great Product, Case Issue
This thing works amazing with my iPhone 17 pro. I use the Delta app to play GBA, Nintendo and Super Nintendo games. There is only one downside. I have the standard iPhone case with my phone, the one sold by Apple. Not thick at all.I have to be a bit careful as the plug on the gamepad doesn't fit snug enough. It disconnected a couple time while playing, but I am working around it.With the case off my phone, it fits like a dream.Taking the case off each time isn't something I was planning on doing. I found if I position my hand in a certain way, it stays plugged in a bit better with the case on.Either way, I would highly recommend this. I love 8Bitdo products and this is no exception.Ver másVer menos

Almost great!
This functions as it should. No issues with connectivity except that you will most likely have to take the case off in order to insert the USB C. Which is a bummer- however it doesn’t connect without any issue. The buttons are tiny and the D Pad is a bit slippery. Example: Punch Out. When attempting to press up to land uppercuts, the sprite will jerk to the left and right unless you are very precise. My adult fingers might be a little too large but I did find that frustrating. Overall- 4 stars.Ver másVer menos

Best in class blast from the past
I just got this little gem along with the GamSir Pocket Taco and wanted to state some key differences. The 8BitDo FlipPad is a tiny bit smaller overall but the buttons are triggered by micro switches instead of the rubber membranes that are in the Pocket Taco making this controller more responsive than it's $35 counterpart from GameSir.THAT is a healthy upside but for the downside everything is just on one small sheet of plastic instead of giving you the back buttons on the back of your phone as with the Pocket Taco. For the yes/no maybe so tie beaker depending on who you ask the Pocket Taco doesn't take up your USB port and connects through Bluetooth which some apps like more (that often don't matter though) while the FlipPad does use the USB meaning it just stays on and attached better overall despite you losing some room for gripping your phone.Overall it's gonna be your call but I'm very happy with the FlipPad over the Pocket Taco.Ver másVer menos

Simple
Works great. Even though it says case friendly, I think it's obvious it wouldn't work with every case. Slips in a pocket well.

Doesn’t work with phone cases
An awesome little controller but can only give it a 3 star because it doesn’t work if your phone has any type for case. Don’t care to take the case off every time I want to use it. They should have designed it with some level of adjustment for variable thickness of cases.Ver másVer menos

Works much better after cleaning out your USB port
When I first got this, the controller was disconnecting every few seconds during gameplay and I was getting ready to return it. The next day on a whim I used a the pointy end of a plastic toothpick to clean out the pocket lint in the USB port and now the FlipPad controller keeps a connection well enough to be used as a convenient controller. It did lose connection once on the DK Country 2 level I was just playing but it kept the connection most of the time. I have a slim JetTech phone case on my iPhone 16 Pro Max and it does not seem to be a problem.Ver másVer menos
