I never write product reviews, but this is good enough to make me start.
TL;DR - If you think you might even be mildly addicted to your phone and own a smartwatch, but still want an activity tracker, BUY THIS NOW.I’ve been wearing Apple Watches for six years. I went from the original SE, to the Series 9, and most recently the Ultra 2. I loved my Ultra 2 and even though it has an astronomically high price, I found it to be worth every penny as it was the best-built Apple product that I had ever come across. Then, I got into the hobby of watches. My father gifted me his old Seiko, and on occasions where wearing a real watch made sense, I would take off my Apple Watch and switch it out for the Seiko. This presented a problem: no activity tracking while wearing the Seiko, and no immediate access to my notifications. So, I started shopping around. The two that immediately came to mind as trackers without being a watch were the Oura and WHOOP, both of which are expensive and require subscriptions, which I hate. They also didn’t immediately show my texts, or when someone liked my Instagram post. Then, I found this, and it sounded almost too good to be true, but it had the same problem as the aforementioned trackers: it wasn’t a phone on my wrist. However, the more I thought about it, the more I realized how silly that idea was. I’m not a business owner, where not answering the phone can be the difference between having and not having a customer. I’m just a normal dude. There is no reason for me to need a legitimate watch-shaped phone more readily available than my actual phone. So, I purchased this, reluctant about switching from my old ways. I took off my Apple Watch, put this and the Seiko on, and headed to class. I immediately noticed that I was significantly less distracted. There was no buzzing every single time something happened, it was just me and my studies. I found myself paying attention in lecture more, and having more focused conversations with my friends during meals that day. By the end of the week I received a notification that my screen time had decreased by a whopping 40%. That felt incredible. However, the real kicker was when I went to the gym. After my workout, the app told me all the exercises that I had done and for how many reps and sets, and it was correct on all of them. I looked at the sleep section of the app, and it told me that my bedtime was highly irregular, and that to get a good night’s sleep, I needed to have a consistent bedtime, which ended up working wonders for my brain. After seeing both of those things, I immediately listed my Apple Watch for sale on eBay. There are so many other great features that I don’t feel like mentioning as this review is already long enough, so I’ll let you try it for yourself. This little fabric strap has the ability to truly change how a person functions day-to-day, which significantly adds up over time, all for only 100 dollars! Not a single part of this product gives away its inexpensiveness. It feels excellent to wear, and the battery life and charger are both superb. I am not lying when I say that this is the most I have ever recommended a product to my friends and family, as it truly deserves it. Bravo Amazfit. You’ve made one hell of a product.Ver másVer menos
