Solid Watch! Worth it if you're debating!

This is a solid watch! I didn't want to spend money on a fitness watch that I was mostly paying for a brand name.. This does everything a fitbit does and most everything the lower end Garmins do. I really like how lightweight it is! I haven't had it long enough to test out the two week battery life but so far it was a quick charge and has been at 100% all day even after wearing it all night and having the sleep and heart rate on, steps seem accurate maybe off one or two steps but nothing is going to measure perfectly even fitbits and Garmins aren't 100% accurate. I like all of the features! However, the Zepp app has too much going on but it's not as difficult to navigate as I was expecting from the other reviews. It's a fitness watch first so those features are great... Call and text is just okay. I gave it 5 stars but I almost just did 4 because it's geared towards men; the design, watch faces, the app etc.. Are all very Male "coded" Which is fine if you don't care I just happen to like a more feminine aesthetic and I think they could do better to have more feminine options or even more neutral options would be great but that is just a nitpicky personal preference. Overall this is a good watch! I did a lot of research and I would say if you're debating it just get it! It is far less expensive to try this and not like it and get something else then it is to try a $300-$800 watch that you hate but you already spent $$ so you feel stuck.UPDATE EXACTLY 1 WEEK LATER: Still a really solid fitness watch but not everything it promises I turned off most of the notifications and app features that don't make sense for my goals and the battery lasts a week. To be fair though I have only taken it off to shower and wash dishes I have worn it day and night for the entire week and currently it's at 10% A week is pretty solid still though.I also bought a screen protector that was pink and a new purple band and it did change the aesthetic for me.Ver más

it simply does what other watches do, for less than half the price

my 2nd Amaze watch, first was the Amaze Fit3.. i am a bit rough on it at work, but it lasted 3 yrs..this is such an upgrade, for not much more money. face is bright, easy to read, lots of different "faces" you can choose from that are built in.tons of info, very long lasting battery, easy to scroll thru, connects to my cheap Android with ease and stays connected, or reconnects when i have been out of range.i easily recommend this to anyone wanting a good, solid, and nice looking sports watch. its water proof to 50 m.. but i still wouldnt go diving with it, maybe swimming , but not actual Scuba diving.. just fyi..Ver más

Amazing Amazfit - Excellent so far.

Edit (06/10/25): Now about 8 days into the Bip 6. After a week of use, the watch was sitting at 50% charge. I charged it up to 96%+ in about an hour. I'm using a USBC charger which I think provides about 2A. Can't say for sure as it's a charger built into a lamp in my bedroom that has both USBC and USBA; the "C" charger shows my Pixel phone charges "rapidly" whereas the "A" plug charges normally (slower but fast enough for the phone to hit 100% sometime during the night). I did try the "A" port (with an A-to-C cable) but it is slower. Still totally happy with the Bip 6. More feedback in a few months.Early days but I thought it might be helpful for those trying to decide between a Fitbit and this Amazfit Bip 6 (a truly unfortunate name). I had been using a Fitbit Charge 5 for a couple of years. The first week I wore it, the Charge 5 detected Afib and that probably saved my life. So I wanted to really like the Charge 5 and continue using it. However, I discovered it was terribly inconsistent in providing a sleep score and HRV; perhaps 40% of the time it just failed. A month or so ago (after 2+ years of use), it would just go "black screen" if I did anything with the Charge 5 other than simply looking at the screen. The battery also didn't last very long and the charger "connection" (magnetic) was hit-or-miss so it was time for a new watch.After deciding against another Fitbit (reviews have gotten worse over the years and Google has already said Fitbit will soon no longer be supported properly), the choice was either an expensive Garmin (and they're all expensive), a Samsung Galaxy watch (also $$$), or one of these "cheap" Chinese brands. (Can't use an Apple watch as my phone is of the Android variety). This Amazfit seemed to have the best reviews of the cheap smartwatches so I bought it with the 3-yr warranty for under $100 total. Amazon delivered it the next morning. Followed the prompts and set it up in a few minutes so it syncs with my Pixel 6a with the Amazfit Zepp app.I charged it using the provided charger "puck" (you must provide your own USB-C cable, remember this!) and, once it reached 100% (a couple of hours maybe), I strapped it on and configured the watch both with the watch's preferences and the Zepp app. I have most of the integration with the phone switched off; why did I need to answer my phone with the watch when I have my phone on my hip all day? I just wanted the watch to keep track of my steps, heart health, and sleep (the latter the most important point).So here we are after three nights and the watch seems to be 100% accurate in sleep tracking and heart health reporting (and it keeps perfect time, of course). As I indicated above, these are still early days but I'm thrilled with this Bip 6. I even am dabbling in the watchface creation app on the web and even that works! Why would I want to use that? I hate tiny type on a large screen so why not make a watchface that really shows off how large all the information can be presented? Great stuff.I am not going to test how waterproof the watch might be; I remove it before showering or swimming and am careful otherwise. BTW: There's a function on the watch where you can "eject" any water that might have found its way into the speaker. (Yes; the watch can play music and you can speak through it to your phone but I'm not going down that patch.)The only downside I can see (and it's not for me) is the length of the band; I have a small wrist but the fourth hole in the strap makes the watch fit properly; I would have expected a longer strap for larger wrists. However, using that fourth hole leaves about 1.75" beyond the buckle (.75" of which tucks back inside the band and that's fine). I would recommend to Amazfit that they provide a longer strap for larger wrists (much like how Fitbit does it).Oh, yeah; one more thing. One of the included apps on the phone is a compass! I set it up so one of the buttons on the side of the watch launches it. You know when your GPS starts off by saying "head east"? Who knows where that is without a compass? Now I know.I'll report back in a few months with more info.

Great budget friendly smart watch

I’d give it 4.5 if I could.I had an Apple Watch for years that couldn’t hold its charge anymore. So I thought I’d give “saving money” a try with this $60 Bip 6.I’ll rank some features 1-5, with 5 being awesome.Customization - 1You get what you get. There’s a decent amount of free and paid face options. But you get what you get. Can’t swap the modules and rearrange to preference.Feedback and Info - 5Data data data. Lots of helpful info. Too much really but I’m sure if I took the time to learn what it’s all for I’m sure I would find it all helpful.Functionality - 4It’s a watch. It tracks fitness. It tells me when I have calls and texts. It does what it needs to do. I took a short call on my watch. It worked just fine. I never used my Apple Watch for long calls anyway so this is fine.What it does NOT do well is allow me to reply to texts. I have to go through the app on the phone which has to be open but also has to have some other app installed and signed in. All to say — too many hurdles and too complicated. Not simple. Still haven’t figured out how to reply to messages.It does tell me when my AirTag and iPad were “left behind” which is nice. Didn’t expect that.Calendar notifications - check.Calls, Texts, Steps, Calories - check.Sleep monitor (which has been nice and also terrible to see how bad I sleep) - check.It has a find my phone feature, but it only vibrates. It doesn’t make an audible noise so I can’t see how that would helpful in a real lost phone scenario.The virtual assistant talks back, a la Siri or Alexa or all the other AI support tools. My old Apple Watch didn’t do that. But responses seem very limited. (At least when it came to helping me respond to texts)Battery - 5+Battery life is PHENOMENAL. It charges fast and lasts FOR DAYS. I charge it maybe once a week but could probably go 10 days at least on one charge. Hands down a win over the Apple Watch I had that needed to be charged daily.Style - 5It looks sleek. I like the size. Personally I like the larger face watches. I like the color of the Titaniumish colored metal the watch itself is made of.And the watch band, I didn’t like at first. But it’s very comfortable and has MANY notch options for wrist sizes. Comfortable enough to wear days at a time.Workout and Water — ??Couldn’t tell you. Don’t really work out and didn’t wear it in water.Can tell you it tracks my steps, calories, breathing, heart rate, stress without having to go through the phone app (love that) and more. It also would give me encouraging notifications about reaching my daily calorie, step, and stand goals (the goals are customizable btw).Overall — 4With an asterisk that says “FOR THE PRICE.”I really want an Apple Watch Ultra 3 and will get one most likely once I have the extra money. I know — the Apple Watch is extremely overpriced… I’m paying for the logo and brand. I know. I’m also paying for simplicity and seamless integration with all my other Apple devices. But if youre able to part from the brand vanity, for a fraction of the price this Bip is a SOLID ALTERNATIVE watch — especially if you don’t have the budget for a Garmin or Fenix or Ultra. It does what it needs to very well (tells time, tracks fitness, lets you know someone is calling or texting) and it does it for a long time.If I could customize the faces and figure out how to easily voice reply to text messages, this could be a no brainer bargain that I could really enjoy.Things I miss the most:Responding to text messages. Way easier on AW. There’s not even a Messages app where I can go check recent texts.Decibel meter. It’s odd and unique to my field of work. But there isn’t one for the Bip.I also miss customizable watch face modulesThings I use the most:The watch itself. Excellent battery life.Sleep data. Everyday I check how I slept. And it’s discouraging lol. But I like to check.

Hands down the best smart watch on the market that's sporty. Absolutely Love it! Battery life is amazing i got about one week with frequent use. That was like hours of playing around with it the first 2 days. Setting it up to my likeness and just finding cool feature after feature! Had a Samsung galaxy 6.!nice watch but battery life was about one day. So bad. Very convenient to not have to charge always. And the galaxy wasnt even getting worn barely. Like 3 hours a day. Definitely get the bip 6. The only thing is that It doesn't have wifi connection. But of course it has blue tooth for phone. And To me wifi doesn't matter. Steps track well. Features are amazing. No joke this watch is better than any on The market. I looked and read about many. Of course that depends on what you need. Or think you need. You probably just what some advanced thing that you won't even utilize it fully. 😂 Amazfit is definitely top in the smart watch industry. Or it should be anyways. Connects well to the samsung S24. We have a 3k Sq ft house and it stays connected when my phone isn't attached to my hip like some siamese twin. Watch gets all the notifications well. Ordered a magnetic band for it just because i don't like taking the 2 seconds to put it in with the other one. Watch is super lite weight. It does have a plastic back. Polymer. But so does the garmin vivoactive 5. Which my wife has and paid 200 for that. And she had an apple one before that. Battery life isn't good on that either. If I would've found the amazfit watches sooner I would've bought both of us one. The size is great it fits my wrist very good. And looks super classy. The functions are much better than the samsung. It is waterproof because we swim alot. It just needs to be on lock mode. No specific water mode or something to make it sound all advanced. It literally is 1000 percent better than the samsung galaxy watch 6. Or 7 or 8 even probably. Especially for the price. 😂 And the samsung has a sapphire crystal face. But unless your gonna smash it on purpose. Then maybe that's just not needed. And I have a high standard when it comes to my personal belongings. That I use my hard worked for money. And the zepp app works awesome. Some Said it's no good. I guess they are app creators and they could've done a better job. The watch has 100s of faces to change. Theres so much more but this is already to long. Just buy it and don't read anymore reviews. I tried to cover as much as possible in my hour writing this and doing a video. Seriously.... The watch is absolutely awesome. Hopefully this gets you to buy and stop looking and Im not a vine customer or get any perks for writing this review. Gets calls and texts super good. The phone finder feature is great. Battery still going strong! I've worn it swimming quite a few times at great wolf. About four hours in water. I wear it in our hot tub quite often as well. Max battery I had was 17 or 19 days. That's with it not being worn for like a week of that. I will update again in a few months or so!June 21 2026Watch still works awesome! I actually ordered the round face with the sapphire crystal because I like the amazfit brand so much and one for my wife the round face with sapphire crystal. She had the garmin. And before that she had an apple watch. Nothing even comes close to the amazfit brand. Top notch they are. Abd the price cannot be best. Battery life is ridiculously amazing too! Garmin, apple, Samsung.... Bye bye bye like n sync says!! 👋👋😂💯

Amazing Affordable Smart Watch

I have an Apple Watch (got it as a christmas gift many years ago) and wear it every single day. I mostly like receiving my notifications from my watch as well as getting insight into calories lost and the pedometer. However, I also go to a lot of concerts, meaning that I leave my watch at home so it doesn’t get stolen. I really wanted to get a watch that was cheap enough where I would not mind if it was stolen, and nice enough to be able to use as a replacement in case I lose my watch (or if it is dead). Bought it for a show I went to a couple of months back, and ever since then this has been a favorite addition for shows. Works great, I got it on sale, and it works pretty decently. This watch does a great job at working as an affordable smart watch while having modern features and having enough aftermarket support, with few concerns with build quality and charging.This watch, in comparison to most modern smart watches, is a fraction of the price. I bought it for around $60, which was reasonable enough for me at the time. Immediately, what I appreciated was that the watch had a nice feel. With smart devices at this price point, I usually have lower expectations on the look and design. However, I have no complaints about the way it visually looks at its price point; it looks clean without being flashy, and at the same time does not present itself as cheap. Very much was surprised, and it honestly was not that far off from an Apple Watch. For a fraction of the cost, it presents itself as a really nice device.When starting it, with any smart watch, there usually is an update and some firmware that needs to be downloaded. Sure enough, when I connected it to the Zepp app (their version of the WatchOS app), it immediately prompted an update. It took about 30 minutes, which was completely fair since I was driving while it downloaded, so it was just running off my phone on my way back home. It looks visually decent, you can tell it is a bit cheaper in comparison to an Apple Watch just by the home screen, but again for its price point it works honestly so well. After it set up, it was ready to go. Very easy, no issues at all getting the watch connected to my phone.The first thing I tested was its accuracy in comparison to my Apple Watch. And while there was definitely some discrepancies with calories and steps counted, it was not that far off. I already understand that these watches are not accurate figures, so I was not upset at all by the fact that it was off by a bit. And again, this was mostly only going to be used while I was at shows, so I was not really concerned about using it for running or exercise. Overall, while it has inaccuracies, it was not significant enough for me to believe that it was drastically different.I dont have too much to say about the fit or how it operates, you kind of get used to it while wearing the watch. The band is nice, it does feel a tad bit cheap, but I got another band for it anyways so it was not a big deal. Operation is very similar to an Apple Watch, so if you’re familiar with WatchOS, it will translate over pretty well. There are A LOT of features on the watch and in the watch shop, most of it is stuff that you probably wont use, but I think its nice that its included.The aftermarket for this watch is a lot larger than I expected. I got a protective case for the watch and a band. The reason for the band was not because I disliked the original watch band it comes with, rather I wanted something that would be more difficult to take off of my wrists. So, if you did want to change or add something to your watch, the aftermarket on Amazon is actually decent, and you can get a lot of stuff for this watch.Honestly, the ABSOLUTE BEST THING about this watch is the battery. I wore it on my trip for four days with somewhat frequent use, and it was charged the whole time. The battery charges magnetically (I will talk about this later as well) and when at 100% you can definitely fit 2 or 3 days of use without charging. Really amazing, and this is where it tends to beat my Apple Watch, which needs to charge at least once a day or else it will be completely drained.I again have very few things I dislike about this watch. But honestly there are only three things that are not preferable on this watch. Firstly, the watch can be unresponsive at times. It is not like it does not work, rather it can run slow or have input delay when trying to use a certain feature or when clicking onto a workout. Not the worst, but sometimes it will take a couple of taps before it registers an action on the watch. Additionally, the actual feel of the watch is not the nicest. Again, it is cheap, and therefore it is not the worst. The body is made of plastic, so it has a cheap feel. But it really could have been a lot worse I feel. Finally, the charging mechanism is honestly the worst thing about this watch. It essentially has a puck that connects to your watch through metal prongs on the watch puck, and with the undercarriage on the watch itself. The watch has to be EXACTLY aligned with the metal connection in order for it to actually charge, meaning if it falls off the puck (which does not take a whole lot as it turns out, a slight knock will do it) you will probably wake up needing to charge the watch. The puck only works in one direction on the watch, and will absolutely not work if the watch is flipped because of the magnets on the watch and on the puck. The only good thing I have to say about the puck is that it charges using any USB-C, meaning that you only need a USB C to charge your watch before/after another device. Overall, not the worst considering its price.Trust me when I say, this watch is so good for its price. There are some cheap feelings to the watch, but I also was not expecting a full premium experience, nor what’s I ever intending to replace my watch in the first place. As a result, I really do like this watch as an alternative to my Apple Watch. It works as intended and has a lot of surprising features. If you are looking for a watch that can track some calories and need something for an affordable price, this is the watch for you!
