Good bench for a good price
I've had a basic weight bench for years that's been an old tried and true friend, but I've missed some of the ab centric tools from my gym membership since I've transitioned to a home gym workout. I love this weight bench! It finally checks the box of getting off the floor to do abs. It's sturdy and adjustable in all the right places to accommodate people of pretty much any height. I put it together in about an hour with a couple of short breaks. The instructions were decent, pretty much as to be expected these days for instructions, maybe slightly better. I also really appreciated the small poster of the different exercises that you can do on the bench. This is a great bench at a very fair price.Ver másVer menos

Decent bench that is sturdy but the fabric and cushions are a bit small in some areas
This wight bench is a nice option for a simple home gym. It has some good options for different types of exercises. The quality is mid level and has a few challenges, but overall this is a good basic bench for multiple exercises. The frame is sturdy but the cushioned bench areas are lacking. The material is a bit bigger than the cushion. The area for curls or sit-ups is a little too narrow. The basic structure is there if you are crafty enough to rebuild some of the cushioned areas to better fit a full size person, like the arm area. That just needs to be a bit bigger and a tad more sturdy for regular size people. This bench does not fold up allowing you to put it to the side so you have to be ok with it taking up the space in a room. The wheels do make it easy to move around. Making adjustments to the bench are not too difficult. When putting this together there were just a few places the metal was rough and could cut you if not being careful. I had to take a file and shave those areas down to a smoother surface to avoid any future accidents from grabbing those areas. The biggest downside to the bench is the probably just the form and fit of the cushions. All else is pretty good and manageable and sturdy. The price is fair but I wouldn’t expect the cushions to last too long if you are a heavy user. But if you are crafty you can pretty easily re-fabric something like this and keep using it.Ver másVer menos

Good beginner weight bench
This is a solid entry level weight bench that is well suited for someone building a home gym or just getting started with strength training. Once assembled, it feels stable and the padding is comfortable. The adjustments are easy to use, and for the price I think it offers good value.Assembly was mostly straightforward, but we did run into one issue. The instruction manual labels all of the hardware clearly, however the bolts in our package were not separated or labeled. Instead, they were all mixed together in a small cardboard box. We also ended up two bolts short- missing parts, and the two extra bolts included were noticeably thicker than the ones required for those locations. Fortunately, my husband had replacement hardware in his workshop and was able to finish the assembly.I can’t say for certain, but our package gave the impression that it may have been a return because of the mixed hardware. That said, once assembled, the bench performs well.My husband, who has lifted for many years, felt this is a good beginner bench. It isn’t intended to compete with commercial gym equipment, but for someone starting a home gym or looking for an affordable adjustable bench, it does the job well.Ver másVer menos
