These are a fun gift for kids. (For when you think they've had enough screen time)They are like plastic snap together bricks...except they are all the same size. You can arrange them in any direction (not limited by the direction of teeth and holes)The colors are fun. You are limited by your imagination (and how many blocks you have in your set.)The magnets are strong enough to build a bridge, but the "without collapsing" marketing text is an exaggeration. If you put a heavy toy on top of the bridge (or make the bridge too long without support) It will collapse. I guess that is the fun science part of the toy.The blocks do have a shaker sound - like they are filled with rice? I didn't crack one open to see what it was, but these are not silent play. Maybe the shaker sound would be soothing.I do think the launch price is a bit expensive for what you get. But I guess that depends on your budget.5 stars = item works as described, no major complaints.Ver másVer menos

Great engineering theme
This is a great set of mini magnetic building blocks cubes that has an engineering theme. This set has 200 pieces that connect seamlessly and stay connected making building scenes seamless. This set is listed as being for a 3 year but it could be for a 1 1/2 with adult supervision. The blocks are about 2cm and had no rough edges. The set comes with a bag that will hold all the blocks with enough space left over.Together a 1 1/2-, 5- and 7-year-old played with this for quite a while and had a lot of discussion about what was happening or being built.... when that was until the littlest decided to knock it down. ...This set is expensive compared to other blocks of this type and may not be a good value for your money.Ver másVer menos

Great set
This is a great set. My son who is 3 years old really enjoys playing with these. They look good and the magnets are pretty strong. These provide hours of entertainment and keep him away from the screen. The price is reasonable and there are plenty of blocks included with a good variety. Overall I would recommend.Ver másVer menos
