+5* for sound quality -1* for design shortcomings
Let me start off by saying I am only using this soundbar for streaming mp3 audiofrom my laptop and CD player using an AUX connection with the bass and treble turnedup to maximum (I already have a Dolby Atmos soundbar for my TV). The bass on this baris wonderful. It is deep enough to be impactful but not so deep where it distorts thesound. As for the Dolby Atmos it does give the background instrumentation (especiallythe bass) a noticeable degree of immersiveness. According to Jierban when I asked themthe frequency response of this soundbar is 20Hz to 20kHz. I cannot attest to the 20Hzfigure but I do have a track that goes down to 35Hz and that played perfectly. Theremote control is of decent size at 5.5"L x2.5"W. This is important to me as I hatethose teeny tiny remotes because you can't simultaneously hold it and operate it withone hand (are you listening Bestisan). The remote does not have a standard layout (thebutton ring controlling the volume and advancing or reversing the USB track being played)so it takes a little getting used to. Be forewarned that the AAA batteries (2) for theremote are not included. The line connecting the subwoofer to the soundbar is 71" and thesoundbar's power cord is 55.5".The soundbar has audio notifications (the notifications can't be turned off) for whatinput and EQ mode you are in but the person who recorded the notifications rushed throughthe descriptions so they are not very clear. There is no LED display panel so once the audionotifications are over you have no way of knowing the input mode, EQ mode, or the volume level.If you turn on this soundbar without the sound source it is connected to being turned on thesoundbar emits a buzzing sound (not loud but noticeable). Despite these shortcomings, I highlyrecommended this soundbar for it's sound quality (the sound from my AUX connection is so goodI've cancelled plans to move my audio inputs to HDMI), frequency response, and the Dolby Atmos.Ver másVer menos
