The Bose TV Speaker helps you hear your TV better. It’s a small sound bar that clarifies speech and improves overall TV sound. Inside the TV speaker there are two full-range drivers angled to deliver wide, spacious sound and a center tweeter specifically focused on elevating vocals. Built-in Dolby decoding helps further enhance this compact TV speaker’s audio capabilities to deliver a more realistic and satisfying listening experience. Designed with simplicity in mind, this small soundbar only uses a single connection to the TV via an optical audio cable (included) or an HDMI cable (sold separately) and has you up and running in minutes. At just over 2" tall, the Bose TV Speaker is a compact sound bar that can be placed just about anywhere. And small LED lights on the front of this small soundbar turn on and/or change color for visual confirmation when certain features are enabled. They also blink in acknowledgement of volume changes. The Bose TV Speaker has HDMI-CEC, which allows the TV and this small soundbar to communicate when connected with an HDMI cable. Meaning when you turn the TV on, the TV speaker will automatically turn on too. With this technology, you can even keep using your current TV remote to control the volume of this compact soundbar. However, the Bose TV Speaker comes with its own remote. And on it, you can enable “dialogue mode” on the TV speaker to elevate vocals even more or press the “bass” button for some extra depth. This compact soundbar also is a Bluetooth soundbar. Simply press the Bluetooth button on the remote to pair your device to this Bluetooth TV speaker and wirelessly stream your favorite music or podcasts. You can also expand your system at any time by adding a wired subwoofer to the Bluetooth TV speaker for a more home-theater-like experience. The Bose TV Speaker is compatible with the Bose Bass Module 500 and 700 and requires the Bose Bass Module Connection Cable or a standard 3.5 mm audio cable, sold separately.

Clear Dialogue
If you want to hear all the dialogue, this soundbar is the best we’ve heard. Sound is great, and easy setup.

Bose Compact TV Subwoofer is a Great Value!
I recently bought this compact Bose soundbar on Amazon for $199.00. I can honestly say that it exceeds my expectations! Right out of the box you get the sense it’s a high quality product! The construction is solid and robust. My Bose soundbar is connected a recent model Samsung 32” QLED television via the HDMI Arc terminal. The audio quality is quite good IMO. Blindfolded you would swear the speaker was much larger. It’s got great high frequency response and the middle frequencies are crisp, balanced, possessing outside speech clarity. The bass is somewhat attenuated but given the compact size of the speaker it’s still very respectable. If you’re so inclined you can connect compatible Bose subwoofer to supplement the bass frequencies. I believe the Bose subwoofer represents a terrific value in the crowded home speaker market. I’m giving it 5 Stars since it exceeds my expectations!Ver másVer menos

Easy, Economical, Functional
Very pleased with this item. Easy to set up and pair with my Apple devices. Works well with both my phone and watch. Great sound for a speaker of its size and cost. A real value!

Decent mini soundbar
Pros- compact, good size for a 40-55" TV- better sound than most built in TV speakers I've heard; not going to fool you into being in a theater without a sub or surrounds, but not meant to, so does the job it was built for- mostly easy setup, plug and play with a Samsung LCD TV from 2022- does not require much space - good for bedroom TV or guest room TVWhy not five stars?- power cable is way too short and plugs in at one side of back instead of center, making setup and positioning a pain- white power led on front is distracting- no bundled HDMI cable for eARC- remote uses coin battery instead of more common AAA- rubber feed to prevent vibration only at two sides, needed to add a middle foot to prevent rattle against TV stand since the stand was narrower than the speaker - otherwise I would need to position it well in front of the TV taking up more space- could do without silver Bose logo on top/front for a cleaner look - maybe make it gray or black- remote's "Bass" button has no visible or on screen feedback or menu to tell if it's on or off that I can find, and audio isn't different enough except for high volume movies to noticeVer másVer menos

INSANELY good for a small office/bedroom
I was looking for a small home office set up (10 X 12 room) and wanted something that was uncomplicated but also sounded really good given the room size. It's used primarily for music, but I'm often in meetings with up to 20 other people, so I wanted something with a voice clarity option. I figured I was going to have to sacrifice one for the other, but the speaker really delivers! What was most amazing to me was the level and quality of bass, which I didn't think was possible with a standalone sound bar, and a small sound bar at that. When I bought this, I also bought the bass module 500 which I've since returned, as it was completely unnecessary. The speaker produces a very balanced soundstage. I placed the soundbar across two studio monitor speaker stands with a 15 degree tilt, super highly recommended if you're planning to use this for a home office solution. This is absolutely not a speaker as a standalone in a larger room, but it's perfect for a small space. No subwoofer needed. You can literally feel the bass.Ver másVer menos

Not Worth It!!
This Bose TV Speaker has pretty good sound quality for the tv because it does sound better than the tv speakers and better volume and the speech is a little clearer, but that's about as far as it goes.I purchased this sound bar after looking at many, but mostly because I have been a Bose fan for many decades and in the days of them becoming to where they are now everything was exceptional until I received this product.Bose dropped the ball on this one and seem to be living now off their name of top-quality products and service in the past and you know what starts to happen when you cut back on the quality, you start to lose your long time customers and no repurchase's from most new ones so business starts to decline, and we all know what has happened to big companies in the past. You charge high dollars so put back in the quality you use too.For two days I have been trying to get a simple question answered from them and no response.After purchasing this product, I have come to realize the only subwoofer I can add to this sound bar which has poor bass, is programed only for their brand, and their cheapest woofer starting at $500.00 plus, that is ridicules.The Bluetooth is version is 4.2, that came out around 2011 or 12 so outdated, much cheaper brands even have the newer versions, heck the remote is not even Bluetooth! You have to make sure no other devices have Bluetooth on to connect to a single device you want par and listen two, a lot of others allow two at once so you can switch back and forth.There is absolutely no way to turn on or control the sound bar if you lose the remote, battery goes bad or if the remote goes bad, but we all know that does not happen now does it?For a 300-dollar soundbar especially from Bose I expected more, half was for the name and the other half for the actual worth of the unit and to get more bass I need to spend over $500.00 more when other top brand units come with a sound bar for under $300.00. I should be able to connect other subwoofer brands to this unit but from all my checking only a couple of people have gotten lucky, I have two and neither one will work with this unit when I connected them, so It's kind of like I gotcha from Bose if you want to upgrade your sound bar for $500.00 plus more to Bose.Yes, looks like this one is going back to Bose.Update: I decided to keep the speaker even as disappointed as I am with this so outdated speaker and mine was made in 2023 and then 28 days after using it just stopped working after being on for about a hour and a half, it only blinks the two lights white 3 times and turns the tv side light green and does this over and over again and will not turn off unless you unplug it, plug it back up and light off a couple of minutes then automatically turns back on and starts the same process over and over, So much for quality Bose I did not even get a months' worth of use and thank goodness I had two days left to return, never again for me Bose. Service is nonexistent never got a answer for a simple question I sent earlier so just imagine how it is with a real problem.
