  Great mattress protector

  This mattress protector fits well and it’s easy to wash. The only thing to note is that it is all plastic on both sides, so if liquid spills onto it, there’s nothing to absorb it other than your sheets. We use this on my toddler’s bed, but it doesn’t minimizes accidents because there’s nothing to help absorb the liquid. So it spreads further than a mattress protector with fabrics on top of the plastic. Other than that I’m pleased with it.Ver másVer menos

  Truly WATERPROOF

  This mattress protector is 100% waterproof.About a year ago I purchased a different mattress cover that claimed to be waterproof, put it on my kid's bed, and it's been fine. But after seeing comments that it wasn't really waterproof, I tested. Yes, you can spill a cup of water and it won't go through, but if you press/squeeze into it for a few seconds (or imagine an adult sleeping atop for several hours) it definitely goes through.Tested this mattress cover and it absolutely won't let liquid pass through. Took a cup of water, made a pouch with the fabric, and squeezed. Nothing escaped. Very happy!While I understand the reasoning behind cool/warm water wash and low heat - I don't have time for that or the tolerance for towels, sheets, socks, or underwear to be washed in germ coddling luke warm cleaning environments. This mattress cover got the hot water, high heat dryer treatment and held up beautifully. I've had others in the past where the waterproof material sticks to itself, but this one stayed perfect. It fit the mattress before washing and after, so as far as I can tell, it didn't shrink.As for "noise" there isn't any. I think the bamboo sheets placed on top create a slick sound when brushed up against, but the mattress cover beneath is silent.Great product!   So many of these reviews aren’t reviews and it kinda makes me mad Amazon allows people the half-do things. Anyway, here’s a legit review from a guy in the Midwest who JUST started using Amazon recently (weird I know). For those of you who are bedwetters OR are a parent of a bedwetter: bless you. It’s rough and not talked about enough because of how embarrassing society makes it. Did you know 1-2% of the adult population are bedwetters? And that’s just the ones that have sought medical attention! Out of all the alarms, pads, diapers available it’s easy for bedwetters to waste so much money and be left defeated and disgusted with one’s self when we SHOULD be blaming these company’s for false advertisement. Mattresses aren’t cheap! Finally, I give you this mattress protector. I did a little test by filling up my plant water can and straight up poured the whole thing over a dirty sheet with the pad on. I then walked out to the room and played some video games and forgot about it for a few hours. Once I tired of video games, I wasn’t running upstairs to check on my little experiment because I honestly figured it would be once again not waterproof and I’d be sleeping on the couch while mattress dried. Was I pleasantly surprised and downright giddy when I pushed my hands under the pad and pushed down on the mattress to find it cool and completely dry. I like that this isn’t a zippered up full protector because it’s easy to get off and wash and doesn’t rip like the vinyl ones. Make sure you put in the dryer on just the air fluff alone or you’re likely to melt the waterproof membrane. Very satisfied with this purchase and can’t recommend enough!!Ver másVer menos
