Good product.
Excellent, my daughter used in her university statistics class. She stated it was perfect. Preformed how she needed. Will continue to use throughout her university life.

Helps me a lot!
Pretty good. Helps me a lot in class because of the fraction function. It’s very light too.

Easy-to-read, but still requires a lot of scrolling
I bought this as a backup to my trusty FX-991EX, but in the end decided to use it as my primary for an upcoming professional engineering exam. Having used the FX-991EX, it's hard to not compare this with that classic. (This is a decidedly less efficient calculator than that one.) Given all the reviews out there, including comparing this to its predecessor, the FX-991CW (i.e., first edition), I'll only add one nit, where it seems the designers of this second edition fell short of their mission to reduce the ridiculous amount of scrolling needed in its predecessor: variable management is a PITA. With the FX-991EX, you can type something, hit STO, then hit the variable you want to store to. With the FX-9910CW, you have to first hit EXE to have the value you want in the answer space. Then, you go to a variable management space. That's all fine, but to store a variable you have to then scroll to the variable you want, then select it, then select what you want to do: store, edit, recall, or edit the variable. So let's say you want to store the number 5 as "x". FX-991EX way: 3 button presses (5->STO->x). FX-9910CW way: 8 button presses (5->EXE->variable button->down->down->down->OK->OK). Just to store a value to x!!!The above aside, the calculator is overall nice. Not super efficient like the old FX-991EX, but not as bad as, say, the TI-36X Pro for buried functions.I got the pink on the promise that my wife would take it after I pass my tests, but the color scheme is quite legible, which is nice. (I don't know why Amazon lists this as separate from the black version--this and the black version are identical in all ways except the colors).Ver másVer menos
