  Arlo’s a great camera system!

  I bought these cameras with the Arlo hub for my son. His other cameras quit working when he went to a new internet provider. We wanted to stay with the battery type as to save from wiring. They were easy to install and really easy to connect to the hub!The clarity and 160 degree field of view was outstanding! Description of the person in the camera was pretty accurate to as what they were wearing! My son really likes the Arlo system a lot better than his old system!Ver másVer menos

  I’ve been using this camera for a while now, and overall I’m really impressed with how easy it is to use. The setup was quick, and since it’s completely wireless with a rechargeable battery, placing it around the house was very flexible.The 2K HDR video quality is clear and sharp, and the wide field of view helps cover a good amount of space without needing multiple cameras.I also like the smart alerts—it doesn’t just notify you of movement, it actually gives more useful information about what’s happening, which makes a big difference.The app is simple to use, and being able to check live video anytime gives peace of mind when I’m away from home.Overall, it’s a reliable and well-designed security camera that does exactly what you need without being complicated.   Not working right after two weeks of install

  ★☆☆☆☆ Expensive System That Doesn't Work As Advertised — Support Was No HelpI purchased the Arlo Pro 6 4-camera pack plus an additional camera and the Arlo Video Doorbell 2K, along with the Arlo Secure Plus subscription. After less than a month of use, I deeply regret this purchase.THE PROBLEMS:1. Live feed lag — The cameras cannot keep up with real-time activity. By the time the feed catches up, whatever was happening is long over. This makes the system nearly useless as an actual security tool.2. Constant distortion requiring resets — Multiple cameras regularly display distorted video. The only fix is to manually reset each camera through the app. This happens repeatedly, across all cameras, and has never resolved on its own.3. 24/7 recording limited to 3 cameras — I'm paying for the premium Arlo Secure Plus plan and discovered after purchase that continuous recording is capped at only 3 cameras. I have 6. This was not made clear before buying and is a significant misrepresentation of what the premium plan delivers.4. Timeline scrubbing doesn't work — Basic navigation through recorded footage is broken. You cannot reliably scroll through video history in any meaningful way.SUPPORT WAS USELESS:I contacted Arlo support and was met with generic troubleshooting steps that changed nothing. These are not setup issues — they are documented, widespread problems that appear throughout Arlo's own community forums, reported by hundreds of customers over multiple years.THE BOTTOM LINE:This is an expensive system — I spent several hundred dollars on hardware plus a recurring subscription — and it does not perform the basic functions of a home security camera. If you're researching this product, do yourself a favor and read the Arlo community forums before you buy. The lag, distortion, and app issues are not rare complaints.   I wish better quality of the batteries but the image good overall

  The video quality is clear, and overall performance has been stable, with only a slight delay of approximately three seconds, which does not constitute a significant inconvenience.However, certain limitations may arise in countries such as El Salvador. The primary concern is that the sixth-generation devices are not officially supported, and the application does not recognize the cameras when configured with a local account. As a workaround, it was necessary to download the application from the United States App Store and register a U.S.-based address as the primary location. Once this adjustment was made, the cameras operated without further issues.Battery performance, however, remains a concern. According to the product specifications, the batteries are expected to last approximately seven to eight months on a single charge and require around two hours to reach full capacity. Despite fully charging all units, after only two weeks of use—verifiable through the free trial membership period—the battery levels have decreased to 44%, 58%, 70%, and 33%, respectively. This is with the Power Management setting configured to “Optimized,” which is intended to balance video quality and battery consumption. These observations raise concerns regarding potential battery underperformance or discrepancies in the advertised battery life.Additionally, a new issue has been observed this week. When maximizing the camera view within the application, it is not possible to minimize the screen afterward, requiring a complete restart of the app. This appears to be a recent bug that was not present previously.Notwithstanding these issues, overall satisfaction with the cameras remains positive. The image quality is excellent, and once properly configured, the devices function reliably. Nevertheless, the battery performance does not align with the advertised expectations, which may indicate either an isolated case or variability in product performance.Ver másVer menos

  Nice cameras but...

  Nice upgrade from our old Gen 2 cameras. Easy installation.If you get the 4 camera pack, be aware they only include a single charger and cable. They could've included two, if you ask me.
