Great for gain amplifier tuning!
Great little oscilloscope for setting amp gains and checking for clipping. I used it to tune my subwoofer amp and it worked perfectly for the job. Being able to actually see when the signal starts to clip instead of guessing with a multimeter or by ear is a huge plus. The screen is clear enough to easily see the waveform and the controls are simple to figure out.For the price this thing is honestly a no-brainer if you’re into car audio. It makes setting gains way safer so you’re not accidentally sending a clipped signal to your subs and cooking your voice coils. It’s small, portable, and accurate enough for basic audio tuning.If you’re running aftermarket amps and want to set gains the right way, this is a great tool to have in your toolbox.Ver másVer menos

Cheap and awesome.
This little thing is awesome for the price. Worked great for tuning my car amplifiers. Very simple to use as long as you read the manual and check around YouTube how to use an oscilloscope if you haven't before.

great little single channel oscilloscope surprisingly accurate and affordable only real gripe would be the output readings of cycle tune and duty cycle only go to the hundredths place and whole integer rounding depending on bandwidth compared to frequency

Works great
I’m really impressed with this handheld oscilloscope, especially considering the price. I bought it mainly for troubleshooting and checking electrical signals, and it has been a very useful tool to have around. The compact handheld design makes it much easier to use than a traditional bench oscilloscope when you’re working on a vehicle, electronics, wiring, or other equipment where you don’t necessarily have a convenient workbench nearby.The screen is clear and easy to read, and the controls are straightforward once you spend a little time getting familiar with them. I like that everything is built into one small unit rather than having to set up a large oscilloscope, power supply, probes, and a bunch of other equipment just to check a signal. The portability is probably one of my favorite things about it.For basic troubleshooting, signal checking, looking at waveforms, checking frequency, and seeing whether a circuit is actually producing the signal you expect, this thing works very well. It’s also nice for anyone learning about electronics because you can actually see what the electrical signal is doing instead of relying solely on a multimeter reading.The build quality feels better than I expected for something in this price range. It doesn’t feel like a toy, and the handheld format makes it convenient to keep nearby in a toolbox. The included accessories are also useful and mean you can start using it pretty much immediately after getting it.Obviously, this isn’t meant to replace an expensive professional bench oscilloscope for advanced laboratory work, but that’s not really what I bought it for. For automotive electrical diagnostics, DIY electronics, hobby projects, repairs, and general troubleshooting, it does exactly what I need. Being able to quickly grab it and check a waveform is much more convenient than breaking out a full-size scope.Battery operation is another big advantage. Not having to worry about finding an outlet or running an extension cord makes it especially convenient when working around a vehicle or other equipment. The compact size also means it doesn't take up much room in a toolbox.Overall, I think this is an excellent value for someone who wants to get into using an oscilloscope without spending a huge amount of money. It’s portable, simple enough to learn, and capable enough for a lot of everyday troubleshooting. If you understand its limitations and aren't expecting the features of a high-end professional scope, I think it's hard to complain about what you get for the price.Definitely worth having around if you work on electronics, automotive electrical systems, or just like tinkering with circuits. I would absolutely recommend it to other DIYers and hobbyists.

Easy to tune amplifiers with
Used this to tune my kicker cxa800.1 and key200.4 amplifiers and got perfect signal with no clipping. Just buy this if you want to protect your sound system investment! It's worth every dime!

Works fine but not durable and debatable savings
Capable for what it claims to be, but so fragile and small that it's best suited to perhaps an introductory class on what a scope is and what it measures. Good for a parent teaching a child, but not suitable for actual tool box uses.The probe interface is MCX, a tiny connector that isn't intended for the stresses applied by the large BNC adapter and probe set provided. The selector left-ok-right rocker control is very fragile feeling and somewhat difficult to use.There is a wealth of signal information displayed, however 'Vavg' is of the displayed waveform, meaning that with only the "coarse" timebase adjustment (i.e. no 'knob' to smoothly vary that) the displayed value isn't very meaningful.While it's unlikely to last in workday use, the displayed waveforms appear correct, matching those of the more capable (and more expensive) 2C53T (which I upgraded to after a comparison).If you purchase this, be sure to factor in about 15 dollars for a case, and note the 2C53T includes a very good hard case. Ultimately you save about 40 dollars with this unit, but you get what you pay for... Also note that with a case big enough for the scope probe (without taking it apart) - you'll have a package almost as large as the 2C53T...Ver másVer menos

Dandy little oscilloscope!
Dandy little oscilloscope! This is my first ever oscilloscope and I'm very impressed. It's not incredibly feature rich, but it performs the basic functions quite well. I used it to look at the output of an AC inverter that I purchased, which was helpful.My only real complaint is that the adapter used for the leads is fairly small, and I suspect that it could break quite easily if much pressure was put on it.
