Solved the issue it was purchased for!
This little hub solved like 4 problems at once for me. My son’s school MacBook only has USB-C ports, and I needed a way to connect a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and charger without a giant complicated dock taking over the desk. This worked perfectly.Setup was basically plug-and-play. HDMI connected to the monitor immediately, the USB ports worked great for our keyboard/mouse setup, and I love that it still allows pass-through charging so the laptop can stay powered while everything is connected.A few things I really like:* Compact and lightweight but still feels high quality* Clean/simple setup without a million cords* Didn’t overheat* Great for turning a laptop into an actual workstation* Anker quality is usually reliable and this feels no differentHonestly one of those purchases that just quietly makes life easier. Great value, solid performance.
Product quality is great. Installation was a snap. No overheating observed in first 48 hours of use. Much smaller than expected and perfect for travel. Really helped me clean up my desktop. Only nitpick would be that it would be nice to have a longer cable to the PC's usb port, or a removable cable rather than a built-in. Solved for this with a usb-c thunderbolt charging extension cable. Total price still lower than alternatives even with the extra cable purchase. Very happy with this unit.Ver másVer menos

Works as promised
It's a good product. The only thing is that I have a slight delay with the HDMI signal, but other than that, it works as promised.

An essential accessory for 2019 macbooks
I had to swap out my work laptop from a thinkpad to a 2019 macbook. That particular model only comes equipped with usb-c ports for peripherals. While I would never spend my own money on apple products, the computer gets the job done. This adapter matches the aesthetic of the laptop, adds ports that are actually useful, takes up very little space, and can be easily mounted to the top cover with some double-sided tape. The short cord avoids the issue of having a spaghetti factory hanging off of your workstation. I have not had a single issue with the ports (aside from overbearing IT security being suspicious of everything under the sun), and it looks cool.Ver másVer menos
