Good machine
I bought this machine after the pilates club I still have a membership at changed the instructor and the hours of the type of pilates I like. The club is 4 miles away but in a busy city and it takes me sometimes 20 minutes to get there, so I thought buying a machine for myself is probably the best for my schedule and my peace of mind.Here are some of the pros and cons of this machine:Pros:Relatively inexpensive studio quality machine. I did a lot of research before I bought this and I almost bought a machine 3 times the price from another site. Eventually I went with this one after I realized the other one would take months to arrive and it was very difficult to return in case there were issues. Amazon at least gives you peace of mind when it comes to returns and this machine arrived very fast. I was told initially that it would arrive in 5 days, but it came in 2.The machine is studio quality. I still have the studio membership as it autorenewed right before I bought this machine and after working out for a few days without the hassle of someone telling me what to do and with my own light and music, I missed my home experience when I went back to the studio. I am only going there now to finish what I already paid for and to practice the moves I am going to do at home from now on.The machine works as it should. It is sturdy, smooth, and safe. The resistances are working great, the ropes are fine, the box is awesome. It might be one or two inches thinner than the studio one, but I cannot tell the difference in quality. When I went back to the studio, I missed the sturdiness of the resistances I have at home. It makes me feel that my decision to go with a machine of my own was the best thing to do not just moneywise but also for the experience.Cons:It's not easy to assemble. It has a myriad of little screws and little holes. I am still giving it a 5 star review because all those screws make it safe and nice.It's not easy to fold and store. I have to keep mine always flat because folding it and moving it into a corner is a bit difficult. It's not impossible but the machine is quite bulky and hard to move. If you do not have room in the house for a permanent pilates machine, you will have to work hard to move this one. Since this doesn't impact me, I am still giving it a 5 star review.Anyway, this is my honest opinion. I love this machine so far and I highly recommend it as an alternative to expensive pilates clubsVer másVer menos
