The SincMill Home Gym is a versatile and sturdy piece of equipment that has quickly become the centerpiece of my home workouts. It’s impressive how many exercises I can do with it — I’ve been able to replace most of my gym equipment without sacrificing workout quality. The frame feels solid and well-built, and the various attachments I’ve purchased all work perfectly with the setup.At six feet tall, I do wish the unit were about a foot taller for a bit more range on certain exercises, but it’s not a dealbreaker — I’ve found ways to work around it. Time well spent
I received all 4 boxes at the same time. They are about 80 lbs each. There are a lot of parts to set up. This took me 8 hours to unbox and set completely up, however I did a meticulous parts check which took about an hour or so to make sure everything was here and it was. The paper directions were great and detailed all the way until you arrive at the pulley assembly part, then that is when I watched their instruction video which was even easier than the paper instructions. After I was all done the top pulley worked great, the flys were great but the rowing part was hindered. I gave about twenty pulls or so and it appears the cable started wearing so I knew something was off. I am a very meticulous person when it comes to assembly which is why it took me so long. However I FOUND THE PROBLEM. The long cable on the bottom when it is first being inserted thru the hole that is "U" shaped has a tiny metal bar in it. I had routed the cable under that bar by mistake, it needs to go above that bar. After I fixed that there were no more wearing issues and everything fit together as it should. Nice solid machine. I have on carpet upstairs and it does not move. I am very impressed with this home gym. I set this up by myself with no help and an ample amount of space to lay out the parts. I am under 6' and in my early fifties and it fits me just right. I don't plan on becoming Hercules just keeping myself fit and in shape. Yes, it takes time to set up but is time well spent. Additional note: When I ordered this the seller sent me a message to let me know that there will be 4 boxes coming all together, but they can only use 1 tracking number so some boxes may come a few days later, I got lucky because they all arrived at once. Features and limitations
First some thoughts to maintain a realistic perspective. I have to mention that this was a really good deal for prime members on prime day. So many people have overlooked the free shipping. I checked out some of the China direct websites and found a comparable unit for near the price I paid. However that machine came with a $442 shipping charge. So in reality just what I saved on shipping will pay for a prime membership for at least 3 years.All of my 4 packages arrived on the same day. A Sunday no less. The Fed Ex man was very pleased to see me coming down my driveway with my monster hand truck. Fed Ex did a good job as there was very little damage. Just a rare scrape mark in the paint. Some shipping data for those who like to be prepared.box 1 72" x 15" x 7" 76.1 LBSbox 2 62" x 20" x 8" 72.7 LBSbox 3 18" x 14" x 7" 82.8 LBSbox 4 16" x 14" x 7" 72.3 LBStotal weight 303.7 LBS or 137.76 KG.....all data from Fed EXConsidering the weight, piece count, and distance traveled the packaging is a marvel of engineering. Assembly is straight forward. I found no shortages or manufacturing defects. So many other people have done a good job describing the assembly process I will not repeat them. However, as being a multifunction machine the cable paths are quite convoluted. When I look at them I see cable metal fatigue as the most likely cause of machine failure in the future. Just like the machines at the health club I used to attend. On this machine though, by the nature of having so many different options in one machine, as soon as one cable breaks the machine could be completely out of service. I will be asking the seller if a spare set is available.Others have commented on the fact the machine does not accommodate taller people. I must agree with these statements. I find it rather small even when adjusted to its widest limits. And it is not just height that makes it seem small, it is shoulder width and forearm length that causes issues. For example the butterfly vertical axis separation is a full 8 inches more narrow than the width of my shoulder orbits making the motion seem unnatural.I am not bashful when it comes to metal working so I do not see this a major problem. I already have solutions in mind. I know that trying to build one from scratch I could not have even purchased the raw hardware for what I paid, let alone had it shipped to me. For many people that don't have my long monkey arms this machine will likely be a good solution.Kudos to the seller for the notifications and PDF availability. I wish though the assembly video could have also been downloadable. On Chrome that option was grayed out.

Great value multi gym
Bought this multi gym two or three weeks ago and have been using it almost every day since. Pros: I get a workout for almost every muscle in my body. I supplement with an inner and outer thigh workout and ab workout elsewhere. But this speaks to the type of gym, not this specific gym.You can do so many different moves, at least 25, more than the poster shows. It came with a very nice selection of attachments. With a lot of silicone lubricant it is relatively smooth, not perfect, but I’m very pleased with it. for reference, I am a 5 foot two woman, I would call myself a beginner weightlifter. The machine fits me fine and the ways are enough for me at this stage. I can get a nice deep leg press. Sometimes I put a couple of Chare pads behind me to push myself even closer to the foot piece. Cons: the assembly directions were not the greatest. But the video on YouTube for assembly were very good. it took 6 to 7 hours to put together by myself. I wouldn’t say it was difficult just time-consuming. The paper directions neglected to tell you until the fourth package of hardware, that you needed hardware in the fourth package for steps that were on the first or second package of hardware so I had to remove some pieces to get those in. Read all of the print on all four packages of hardware before you start assembly. it didn’t come with lubricant, I had to buy that separate. And it definitely needs it. You will see that immediately. But once you use silicone, it’s perfect. The standing leg curl isn’t great as is however, I put a Yoga block between my knee and the machine and now it’s really perfect! Definitely recommend, it was worth the $511 on flash sale!Ver másVer menos

Excellent Purchase, well built and worth every penny I spent!!
I'm writing this review to describe my experience with the SincMill SCM-1148L. I did a lot of research and shopping for a home workout setup. I watched You tube video's and also checked out the versatility and functionality of the most sought after setup's. First and foremost, this was an excellent buy. For the money your getting one heck of a workout center. This is a unit that has a very robust setup and is super solid and made for extensive workouts. I will outline what I think might be important to mention or at least was important to me.First: This package came in 4 boxes. They were heavy. Make sure you have help moving the boxes to where ever your going to put this unit together. The weight boxes were super heavy by them selves. The packaging was extremely solid and put together for shipping. NO problems there. And I was not missing any of the parts at all.Second: Putting this unit together was actually easy. In that I mean the directions were very laid out and easy to follow. I would think that the manufacturer could make the diagrams bigger or explode them up a little to see the parts flow in the directions. There are blowups on integral parts thought, which is good. I actually used the video's on You Tube that outline, in 3D, the installations step by step in great detail. I probably watched the video more and only referred to the instruction manual when things got confusing. I went back and forth on the video, stopping and pausing the video in each and every step. The first cable installation (Youtube video) was confusing as it flows right into the second cable install. (Watch my video as I outline the first cable install). The flow of the cables and how to install them can be confusing. But all in all it is easy and once you get the hang of it installing the cables, it is easy. The parts layout and the nuts, bolt, washers and all were laid out in the order of the steps to put it together. Which was an awesome advantage for following the directions on the video as the video also mentions the part numbers as you go through the video.. I put this unit together in roughly 4 hours. If you have a second person handy have them help you. Will make the steps super easier.Third: The actuation of the cables and moving the various parts of the machine is super smooth and the noise level is super quiet. When lifting and using the machine the resistance is very nice and flows evenly. It is important to mention that the space saving and foot print is awesome. As you can see from the video my area is small, yet I have room to move around.Finally I have no complaints. There is nothing bad to say about this workout center. All pro's. If I had one thing to advise you on it would be that if your super tall then you might want to consider a larger machine. I am 6' tall and I have no problems with the leg press or using the seats and leg extension unit. All the pieces fit together and work together quite nice and there is no binding or banging around.I would absolutely purchase this again and would recommend this to anyone wanting an upgrade for working out at home. Especially for the money. Once again, thank you Amazon for selling an excellent item.Thanks.
