Great camera and useful pan tilt

Really happy with this Ring camera. The picture quality is clear, setup was straightforward, and the pan-and-tilt feature makes it much more useful than a fixed indoor camera. Being able to adjust the view remotely lets you cover a much larger area without needing several cameras. Works reliably with the Ring app and has been a great addition to the system.Ver másVer menos

  Maximum Room Coverage, Controlled Privately

The Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam is a fantastic addition to any smart home security setup, offering an expansive view that completely eliminates the blind spots of standard stationary cameras. The pan-tilt functionality is incredibly smooth and responsive through the Ring app, allowing you to easily scan an entire room from your phone while away. Video quality is crisp both day and night, and the motion tracking features ensure you never miss any relevant activity. It integrates seamlessly into the existing Ring ecosystem, making setup quick and straightforward for anyone already familiar with their devices. While some users worry about privacy with a camera that physically rotates, Ring has actually included some great ways to keep your home life private. It is worth noting that while the digital "Privacy Zones" filter feature in the app does work with this model. You can also use a physical privacy cover that slides directly over the lens to completely cut off the video and microphone feed whenever you want total peace of mind. If you don't want to use the physical shield, you can easily use the app's built-in "Modes" settings to disable the camera's streaming and recording entirely when you are home. If you want total room coverage with flexible privacy controls, this is an excellent choice for keeping an eye on your home or pets.Ver másVer menos

Now I Can See Everything, Whether I Want To or Not 😂

I’m really impressed with the Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam. The picture is clear, setup was easy, and being able to remotely move the camera around the room is much more useful than having a camera pointed in only one direction. The 360° pan coverage is easily my favorite feature. Instead of wondering what’s happening just outside the camera’s view, I can simply rotate it and look around. Apparently, I have now become my own home security department. 😂Two-Way Talk is another great feature, especially when you want to communicate with someone at home without actually being there. The white design looks clean and unobtrusive, and the camera gives me much better coverage from a single location. Five stars for security, convenience, and allowing me to investigate every mysterious noise without getting off the couch. 😂Ver másVer menos

  Awesome cameras

These are great. They give you a great wide view. I have them inside my windows. With the tilt and rotation - I will say if your power goes out - Delton how you have it set up - one of them reset and I have to adjust the angle. I have that one on a ledge of the window seal. It doesn’t bother me thought because the pic is excellent and the night view is incredible. I would definitely buy these again worth every penny! Connects with zero issues to WiFi. Easy to adjust and can even do most of it by your phone.Ver másVer menos

  Great camera

I absolutely love this camera! I mainly use it to check on my dogs while I’m at work, and it gives me so much peace of mind. The pan and tilt feature lets me look around the entire room, so I can always see what they’re up to instead of being limited to one view.It was very easy to set up and connect to the Ring app, and the video quality is clear and reliable. If you’re looking for an indoor camera to keep an eye on your pets or your home, I highly recommend this one!Ver másVer menos

Finally, a Ring Cam That Can See It All!

I've been a long-time Ring user, and while their fixed indoor cameras are decent, I've always wished for something with more flexibility. Enter the new Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam (2024 release), and let me tell you, it's a game-changer for monitoring larger spaces. Especially if you snag it when it's on sale, it's an absolute steal!I picked up this white model to keep an eye on my mischievous dog and the main living area, and the 360° pan coverage is a dream come true. From one central spot, I can now virtually sweep the entire room with a few taps on the app. No more multiple cameras to cover all the angles, which is fantastic for decluttering my tech setup. The HD video quality is crisp, even at night with the color night vision, and the Two-Way Talk feature means I can tell my furry friend to get off the couch from anywhere. Setup was a breeze, as expected with Ring products, taking only minutes to get it up and running on my Wi-Fi.Pros:* 360° Pan & 169° Tilt Coverage: This is the star of the show! It truly eliminates blind spots and provides comprehensive views of any room.* Clear HD Video & Color Night Vision: Day or night, the picture is sharp and detailed.* Seamless Ring Ecosystem Integration: If you already have Ring devices, this slots right in, making it super easy to manage everything from one app.* Two-Way Talk: Great for checking in on pets, kids, or even just saying hello. The audio quality is surprisingly good.* Manual Privacy Cover: A simple, physical shutter that gives you peace of mind when you want complete privacy.* Compact Design: It's sleek and doesn't take up much space, blending in nicely with home decor.Cons:* No Auto Motion Tracking: This is the biggest missed opportunity. You have to manually pan and tilt to follow movement, which feels a bit old-school for a camera released in 2024.* Subscription Required for Recorded Video: Like all Ring cameras, you'll need a Ring Protect plan to view recorded footage and access advanced features like Advanced Pre-Roll.* 1080p Resolution: While clear, some competitors offer 2K or even 4K resolution, so it's not the absolute sharpest on the market.* Manual Privacy Shutter: While good for privacy, it's not remotely operable, so if you leave it closed, you won't get any video until you open it physically.Overall, if you're in the Ring ecosystem and looking for an indoor camera that offers expansive coverage without breaking the bank (especially if you find it on sale!), the Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam is a solid choice. The lack of auto-tracking is a slight bummer, but for the price and the sheer breadth of view you get, it's hard to beat. I'd definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to keep a watchful eye on a wide area of their home.
