  Great, but for Gaming Not Typing

  I've owned maybe 8 mechanical keyboards. This is my second analog.Basically, it feels a bit cheap to type on, but only because the feel has been completely optimized for gaming.So, I use this for my gaming pc and use a decent brown switch keyboard for typing.It's replacing an old Steel series Apex Pro that's volume control no longer works.This one feels fine and you can customize a lot... maybe too much.A few caveats...1 The little readout display is too bright and there's no way to dim it in software, so I'd suggest a bit of dimming film.2 I really wish there was a way to change the color of the capslock lighting when it's active.3 There's a bit of flex in it, and it's not in any way thockeyKudos...1 It's very easy to press every key to a specific depth. The best analog I've ever felt on a keyboard.2 There's not a much light spill over from the north-leds, meaning that they illuminate the letters on the keys without blasting rainbows into your eyes. (south-leds are for rainbow enthusiasts)3 Detachable cable is detachable!I'm not convinced that 8k polling gets you anything, if you want faster response, make the activation depth shallower.I hope the volume knob lasts, and none of the Leds die.   This keyboard is Razor sharp.

  First off, this Razor Huntsman V3 Pro is a great keyboard, period!In 2015 I purchased a Logitech G910 Orion Spark. After a little over a year (as the warranty had expired), I had the left CTRL key cap break. I contacted Logitech, and to my surprise, they sent a complete key cap set for the keyboard. I was sold on Logitech after that. Time moved forward, and eventually, the keyboard started missing key strokes, where double and triple strokes on a letter became a sign that replacement was in order. Along with the Logitech keyboard, I purchased a Logitech mouse G502, which served well for over 10 years. The presets on the mouse started to bounce off my DPI settings, so I started researching keyboards and mice. I ordered a Logitech mouse G502 Hero since it received consistently good reviews. Unfortunately, the mouse wheel had a heavy spot, which would allow web pages to scroll without any input, so it was returned. I also purchased a Corsair K70 keyboard since the reviews were good. I liked the Cherry MX switches, yet the key caps do not cover the bottom of the switches. From the top looking down (which most pictures show) the RGB lighting looks good; however, from the front, it looks like little colored teeth shining from the bottom of the key caps, it just looks cheap. The slope of the key caps from front to back was not constant. The wrist pad I read about was soft to the touch; somehow, Corsair found a way to make small triangles out of plastic feel soft and yet be as hard as a rock. So, I sent it back as well. Remember Razor? This is a review about Razor. This keyboard, Razor Huntsman V3 Pro, is great to type with and to game with as well. With the Synapse 4 program suite, it not only gives this keyboard life it also connects my new Razor Balilisk V3 35K mouse and Razor Hypersense headphones without a hitch. I've been a PC gamer since the 80's with my first PC, a 386 with 1 meg of sipp ram, 40 MB hard drive, and a 256K monitor. To date, this mouse and keyboard combo is the best I have purchased. I remember throwing quarters at Brick Breaker and Asteroids on a black and white screen. At 67, I game daily, you're never too old to game, and I'm always out of gum. :-)Ver másVer menos

  The Razer Huntsman V3 Pro TKL is a really good keyboard, especially for gaming. It feels extremely responsive, the switches are smooth, and the RGB looks great. I also like the adjustable feet and included wrist rest since they make the keyboard much more comfortable during longer sessions, and the keyboard itself is pretty light.The sound is decent too. It is not creamy like custom keyboards, but it still sounds pretty clean for a gaming keyboard. The overall build quality feels solid and premium.My main complaint is the software. If you want extra RGB effects or customization, you need to install Razer Synapse, which can slow down your PC a little in the background. I also noticed the keyboard can disconnect sometimes if the cable is bent at a weird angle, but it has not really affected me since I mostly use it stationary in wired mode.Pros:Extremely responsiveGreat RGBAdjustable feetComfortable wrist restSolid build qualityCons:Requires software for full customizationSynapse uses background resourcesCable can disconnect at awkward angles sometimes (but this only happens to me, most likely wont happen to other keyboards)Ver másVer menos

  Compact & Responsive!

  The Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Mini 60% is hands down one of the best keyboards I’ve ever used. Its accuracy and responsiveness are on another level, making every keystroke feel precise and effortless.   Absolutely wretched experience. Got so excited to hook it up with my Basilisk mouse and Chroma the colors in sync to match my PC setup. Love the mouse, has been working great for Tarkov, Rust, etc. Get the Huntsman hooked up, lights start popping and showing off, I'm in love. I go to the Windows bar to open the Chroma/Synapse app, and NOTHING on the keyboard works besides a shortcut to pop up a gaming bar. Turns out that Huntsman V3 Pro becomes completely unresponsive when Synapse is running. So I uninstall Synapse, give up on trying to fine-tune it for my needs, and just stick to Chroma making it at least pretty if it ain't gonna be great. Well eventually it stopped typing again with only Chroma installed after it updated. This thing would be friggin annoying at 1/4th the cost, but nah, it's a frustrating experience you get fooled into paying triple digits for. I'm about to scrap the whole Razer ecosystem and go SteelSeries or something better than this trash. What a total letdown of something I'd been looking forward to all week. The worst part is the hardware starts fine, their own software cripples their product.Ver másVer menos

  Top-tier performance for competitive play

  I decided to pick this board up because I mainly play shooters and I was getting tired of my full-sized setup taking up so much mouse pad real estate. I wanted something that would give me more room to move without sacrificing the arrow keys, so this TKL layout seemed like the right middle ground.The switches are honestly the standout feature here. The analog optical triggers feel incredibly snappy, which is exactly what you need for competitive gaming. You can really feel the difference with the rapid trigger feature; it makes strafing and movement feel much more precise compared to a standard mechanical switch. The build itself is excellent, too. The doubleshot PBT keycaps have a nice texture that doesn't get slippery, and having the dedicated media dial and buttons right there is a convenient touch I use more than I expected.It is a very compact unit, which fits perfectly on my desk and clears up a ton of space. It feels premium and heavy enough to stay put during intense matches. If you are looking for a serious piece of gear to tighten up your movement in games, this is a fantastic option.Ver másVer menos
