If you dont mind spending the money, the quality is absolutely there for this keyboard
Over all I will say that I typically really enjoy razer products and my wife gifted me this keyboard and I absolutely love it. the aluminum metal makes it feel very durable and just a overall great feeling so the build quality is really felt once you hold it in your hands. Easy plug and play and works well with the razer program. The extra keys are easy to program if you need it. This is a heavier keyboard so its not something I would recommend for like traveling. The color options are good just like most rgb keyboards. I personally like the clicky'ness of blue switches so I can tell you that the green switches sound great IF you like that sound. It is loud if you get the green switches so if your going to be using this near someone or just don't want keys that are a bit loud defiantly get red switches. The keyboard just feels so nice when typing and pretty much anyone I let try it or use it falls in love with it to. It definatelly has a more premium price but you can feel it in the quality of the keyboard. If you want something that will last you and feel great I would recommend this keyboard. Highly recommend.Ver másVer menos

Great generational improvement
I had the last version of the Black Widow Keyboard. The one with the volume knob that would break and no longer work. That was a pretty good keyboard... This is a really good keyboard. I have no issues with the volume roller working or not working. The wrist rest is also improved, as it has latches that go under the keyboard to prevent it from sliding up on the bottom row of keys like my last keyboard did. I don't get much use out of the 3 buttons to the left side of the keyboard, nor the macro keys, but I'm sure someone would.Very well designed and allows me to hit keys accurately when typing.Ver másVer menos

Poor Customer Service
I normally don't write poor reviews, but in this case I feel like I need to warn others. I have been a longtime Razer products user. I have used their keyboards, mice, speakers, headsets, etc. for going on 10 years now with no issue. When I was planning to build my new PC which I use for both work and home use, I wanted to get a nice keyboard to go along with it so decided to grab the BlackWidow V4. I wish I could go back in time and warn myself. The keyboard itself is great when it decides it wants to work, which leads to the first issues. My original keyboard I purchased started spamming multiple key inputs just after the Amazon return window. I reached out to Razer to process a warranty/RMA claim. In doing so I was given two options: (a) send back the keyboard and Razer would send me a replacement within 14 days of receiving the original keyboard or (b) purchase what they call their advanced replacement and shell out the retail cost of another keyboard and they would send one ASAP. This lead me to either going without a keyboard for up to a month or having to drop even more money on the same keyboard. I went with the advanced replacement as I use this for work and couldn't be without a keyboard.A few weeks go by and the replacement keyboard shows up. As soon as I took it out of the box I noticed that a couple of the keys were not set right from the factory. I immediately reached out to see next steps. Surely they wouldn't want me to purchase the keyboard for the THIRD time right? Right?! Well in Razer's eyes that's exactly what you do. Many times I've been told that "we understand" and that "we're sorry" but never once has anyone offered a solution other than for me to send back the 2nd replacement keyboard and wait a month, or drop money a THIRD time for the same keyboard. No one in their CSR team seems to care, so even though the keyboard is built well, their QA/QC and customer service is atrocious.I still do not have a fully functioning keyboard and I've been dealing with their Warranty/RMA department for well over 2 months now. Stay away. Find something else. If you decide to still go with Razer, you may get a keyboard that works, but if you don't good luck getting anywhere with their customer service and hopefully you can return it before it has issues. I will never be purchasing another Razer product ever again.

great gaming keyboard
This keyboard feels great to use and the clicky switches are super satisfying. I really like the media controls since they make quick adjustments easy, and the programmable macros are perfect for gaming and workflow shortcuts. The build quality feels solid and the RGB looks sharp.Ver másVer menos

Razer does not disappoint.
The only reason I bought this was because my original Black Widow Chroma V2 got drenched in tea. So I go on the hunt and find out they no longer make that keyboard. I purchased two other Razer keyboards and even though they were great, nothing to me beats the Black Widow keyboards. The comfort of the wrist rest is great and it doesn't matter if I'm working, cruising the net or gaming, it's a comfortable go.I do love the color picking ability and I keep it on one color for everything and it looks awesome! You will have to be careful of the buttons on the left side of the keyboard but other than that the smoothness of typing is great. I am a very particular person when it comes to what my keyboard feels and sounds like. Yes, this is a "clicker" keyboard and I absolutely love that. The speed of typing is awesome, the response time keeps you moving, so no complaint there. The biggest complaint I have is the software. I never had a problem with it keeping my settings, starting back up after a reboot, opening up in general. I have all the buttons clicked for it to start up at boot, log in and everything, but 9 times out of 10 I have to open it back up, log in to Synapse and then it starts doing what I want. Also, I truly miss the Chroma extras of the headphone jack and usb port on the right side. This does have a usb port on the back, but you tend to forget about it because of the location. So, everything is great about this keyboard, some things take a little getting used to, like the roller wheel volume control, but like all new things it will grow on you. Is it worth the money, that all depends on your own personal preference. I broke down and spent the money because I knew I would be happy with keyboard and will last for years, as long as I don't spill tea on it.Ver másVer menos
