Yeah, Sin officially owns a piece of my soul.It was dark, intense, completely unhinged at times, and I loved every second of it. Sin is the definition of “touch her and die,” and it made me fall for a man who should probably be locked away.I loved watching Elli find her strength and refuse to let her past define her. Their relationship isn’t easy or healthy (by any means), but in their own twisted way, they were perfect for each other.I flew through this book way faster than I expected. Secret society, unhinged and loved it!

📖 🎧Sin!!! Omg both Easton and Elli were so unhinged 😂 but I loved every minute of it. The twists and turns were great in this book. My heart broke for Elli so many times. Although I loved Easton, I also wanted to slap him a few times.I loved seeing other characters from different books start coming into play in this one. Elli is the daughter of a dead lord and has always known they existed. When she used to listen in on her mothers sex therapy sessions as a young teen she got caught by her step father and he forever took advantage of her and also allowed other lords to take advantage of her. To say Ellis life wasn’t easy is an understatement and it caused her to be a sex addict and substance abuse. Sin always knew elli would be his even growing up. She was his sisters best friend and has always been in love with her. And one night when he snuck into her house to kill her step father something happens between the two of them even though sin is the middle of his initiation to the lords and they’ve never been separated since. Now that he’s officially initiated and in his senior year he wastes no time making elli his. This was a very dark romance. In particular he pierced her nipples, tattooed his name on her lower back and married her all with her knowing. And that’s just some of the crazy things that happen. But one thing is for sure, Sin will do anything to keep elli even if that means betraying his own family and the lords. This book was good but the reason i rated it so low was because it seemed like elli was getting raped by literally every man that was brought up in the book and it got really heavy and a bit too much in my opinion. Good book, good read, very very dark - not romance

I have read my fair share of DARK romances, and I’ve read The Ritual by the same author and I liked it, the story line/plot makes you never want to put it down, same thing goes for this book, The Sinner, but is it romance? NO, not in my opinion, if anything I wish the author put more romance in their books - the romance that makes it enticing and can’t wait for the characters to finally have the breakthrough leading to the peak of what every reader of a 18+ book is looking for; the romance that you can relate to with dates, make you feel giddy, butterflies, sweet spontaneous moments or scenarios that reveal and prolong the stepping stones that lead to the relationship between the characters making you smile idiotically as you read wondering what’s going to happen next and their chemistry while also learning more about the characters themselves.If you want to read a dark book that entangles s*x as mostly the main plot from beginning to end with a storyline behind it then this is your book. As much of a good read it still was, that’s mainly what it is. Every chapter is dirty, ruthless, fetishized, sinful s*x and yes while on the other hand the main point of the book that it describes is exactly what was told/warned with its very sad and horrible story for the main character(s) that make you want to cry and hug them, you can’t help but read it and think “wow again?” “Is this all they do?” “How can they love each other all they do is sleep together and that’s it?”, you might even get kinda bored with it.Again, I liked the book for what it was and what the author intended to write about but I would not call it romance. You can’t just have the characters say “I love you” and call it a dark ROMANCE, it takes more than just monstrous amount of sinful s*x, plot twists with a sprinkle of I love yous to include it as romance. This book is just a fetishized, very dark, very heavy storyline book.-1 star for there not being real romance.Ver más
