Gives enough power to safely shut down a computer system upon power failure
This UPS system has been in use for over 1 year, and has worked through multiple power outages. It is connected to an i-7 computer system using 3 monitors. The UPS is able to keep all of these peripherals powered up long enough (about 5 minutes) to close down webpages, windows, monitors and the computer prior to runing out of backup power. It does what it is supposed to. Also, when the power "hiccups", the whole computer setup continues without any lag or glitches. The info screen is color and easy to read. Good UPS
As of today, two days after receiving this UPS, I am so far happy with it. It doesn't get hot at all. There are no alarms going off, and absolutely no smell to it at all. Originally, I ordered the 1350. After really delving into the reviews, I realized I had probably made a big mistake. I heard that the 1350 was discontinued because of all the problem with it. I was relieved when they sent me the 1500 instead for the same price. We have power outages here in Colorado due to storms, and crazy drivers hitting utility poles. So, I am waiting for the first power outage to occur. If any thing negative happens I will update this review. So far...so good.Amended 7/22/25: First test of the unit. Squirrel bit the dust on our transformer outside. Dead instantly. Was on the computer when it happened and the power went off after a very loud boom.....circuit breaker tripping. The power unit immediately switched over and kept my computer and monitor on. I shut down immediately, and then turned off the UPS. Very thankful I got the UPS when I did. Essential if you face frequent outages
This has saved my PC in multiple power outages. Enough wattage for my computer and enough battery to be able to safely shut down my system.Easy setup and use. Keep in mind there are battery outlets and outlets that just provide surge protection. Also, recommend connecting to your system with the USB cable to use their app that has self tests and shows performance of the UPS.Ver másVer menos

Great Uninterruptable Power Supply
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I run a 30TB six-disk Network-Attached Storage (NAS). The NAS and a few other network devices are plugged into this UPS. The UPS has been in operation for just over a year, and we have had two lengthy power outages. In each instance, the UPS worked flawlessly. One power outage lasted 20 minutes, and the other was well over 48 minutes. The reserve power on the UPS is 90 minutes. For anyone who has ever used a NAS, a shutdown procedure must be followed to ensure that data is not lost or corrupted. The NAS allows a user to shut down the NAS safely and orderly. I used Cyberpower and Eaton UPS as a Network Administrator, so why not use this at home?Ver másVer menos

Great peace of mind
This has been a lifesaver, or more accurately, an equipment saver. We’d been dealing with major construction in our neighborhood, and the frequent power outages kept shutting down my work computer hard. Great Run Time
I purchased mine over 18 months ago. This is the second one I have owned. The first one, I had for over six years until it died of an eternal failure, but the battery was still 60% and had lasted for hours far Hurricane Harvey made land fall. This one has kept the power up for five plus hours running two monitors, desktop and the internet fiber connection- this is important to watch the weather when there are bad storms, no power and hurricanes.
