Great product with exceptional results and performance
I've had this unit for 5 years now. I live in Alabama and here the storm seasons stretch over six months of the year. In those six moths of the year we have plenty of power surges and outages and one happened three days ago. So as I said, I've had this unit plugged in and charged for 5 years now and during the last serge it proved itself. AGAIN! I have my PC hooked up to it - 1500W power supply, two 1TB hard disks, solid state, 32 GB RAM and 2 GB video. To the computer I have connected two 27" LG monitors, printer, stereo system and large Intuos5 for photo editing. I was stitching ~1.8GB panoramic photo and in the middle of the process the power went out. The PC did not lose a beat. The CPU was working at 85% and the RAM and the GPU graphics accelerator were maxed out. My PC finished the stitching of the pano in 10 minutes and I was able to save the file! Before I shut it down, I looked at the power supply and it said that I had 56 more minutes to go before I ran out of power. I turned it off anyway. But here is where it gets interesting. I then went to my living room and turned on the TV (which is hooked up to a 5.1 Sony receiver) to watch The Tonight show. And I did! After 15 minutes the power came back and I went back to work on the PC. Long story short - I cannot count how many times this unit saved my electronics in the last 5 years. Definitely worth the money. I would definitely recommend it (or the units from the rest of this line) to anyone who is serious about protecting their electronics investments.Ver másVer menos
