GREATEST BULBS OF ALL TIME
Love the bulbs. Really easy to install. The Kasa Smart App interface is super easy to understand and work with. Amazing light colour choices. I could easily control the brightness of my lights too. Has been one of my most useful purchases in a while.

These work great. Colors are spot-on. Some notes on Alexa
Solid product. The colors are spot on. I especially like the different shades of white through the day if you set them to adjust with the time.Tried other bulbs w Alexa and they either didn't work at all or had to be reconnected all the time. What a pain!I definitely recommend these as smart bulbs for use with Alexa but...The first several bulbs I purchased, I checked the box at checkout to link them to my Amazon/Alexa and bam! They setup immediately with Alexa. I didn't have to use the manufacturer's app. However, I bought another set, checked the same box at checkout, and they did not connect using Alexa. So I downloaded the manufacturer's app and set one up and it broke the connection with all the previous bulbs and Alexa. I couldn't even delete the original ones from the Alexa app.So I...-Disabled the skill from the manufacturer's app within Alexa-Set up all the bulbs using the manufacturer's app-Deleted the Alexa app from my phone and reinstalled it (don't worry, everything is still there once you log in)-Re-enabled the skill in the Alexa appAll the lights showed up in the Alexa app again. Everything was good in the Alexa app as far as routines and everything else, except the lights. I had to re-add the lights to the existing routines. So I would suggest setting up the bulbs in the manufacturer's app FIRST and enable the skill in the Alexa app.I hope this is helpful :)Ver másVer menos

Long life and so many features. Love this smart bulb!
I feel like it would be unfair to take a star off because I'm now sick of my 5 year old asking me "Daddy, can you make the lights green? No a different green... no red.. actually pink". So I'll try to review on the merits.Originally bought these for their color changing functionality to add a bit of color (literally) to our holiday decor. These work great through the app and are easily programmable. Also compatible with Alexa and Smart Connect. That's just the start though, through the app they can be dimmed, easily control the white balance, set a schedule and get some feedback metrics on how much you're likely spending over a given period.Being LED, these last much longer than incandescent bulbs and have better economy. The first bulbs we bought of this type have lasted through several apartment and house moves, surprising me with the longevity. The app is also compatible with a number of other smart devices like sockets and cameras, so as to reduce the number of apps you have to use.I now have probably 20 of these bulbs and it's not taxing the wifi and seem to be working flawlessly. I've actually used them to replace a number of budget bulbs that flickered with every slight voltage drop (Wife's hairdryer I'm looking at you).Ver másVer menos

Good, but some connectivity issues
The Kasa Smart Light Bulbs offer a convenient and customizable lighting solution with their full color-changing and dimmable features, compatible with Alexa and Google Home. However, while they have their merits, their reliability in staying connected to the internet leaves something to be desired. On the positive side, these bulbs provide a wide range of colors and brightness levels, allowing for personalized lighting to suit any mood or occasion. The integration with popular smart home assistants like Alexa and Google Home adds to their versatility, enabling convenient voice control for seamless operation. That said, the inconsistency in maintaining a stable internet connection can be frustrating and impacts their overall usability. There are occasions when the bulbs fail to connect or become disconnected from the network, disrupting the intended lighting settings and requiring manual intervention to reestablish connectivity. Often just one will disconnect, meaning I can’t control them both at the same time. Other times, both disconnect. While the lack of a required hub simplifies the setup process, it seems that the reliance solely on a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network may contribute to the connectivity issues experienced by some users. It's worth noting that in environments with multiple smart devices or interference, these issues may be exacerbated. In conclusion, the Kasa Smart Light Bulbs offer a decent lighting solution with their color-changing and dimmable capabilities, enhanced by compatibility with popular smart home platforms. However, the inconsistency in internet connectivity detracts from their overall reliability and usability. For users seeking a seamless smart lighting experience, it may be worth exploring alternative options with more robust connectivity features.Ver másVer menos

Easy to use smart bulbs
These Kasa smart bulbs are great, love the multicolors and how you’re able to adjust everything from the app, it really add a new look to any room and is reasonably priced. I had the pleasure to have a technical support specialist named Karen assist me in restoring my bulbs, she took the time to explain and walk me through the setup, great customer service and support. I have several Kasa products and all are very easy to use.Ver másVer menos

One of those smart-home products that just works
I’ve been using these Kasa smart bulbs for quite a while now and have gradually ended up with them in multiple rooms around the house, which probably says more than anything else I could put in a review.Setup is very simple, the Kasa app is intuitive, and integration with Alexa is painless. Once they are set up, they are extremely reliable. I use voice control constantly, and being able to group lights into rooms and control them together very quickly becomes one of those things you wonder why you ever did without. The color range is also genuinely useful. You can go from normal warm or cool white lighting to pretty much any color you want, and the dimming range is excellent. I use the colors occasionally, but honestly the ability to adjust the white temperature and brightness is probably what I use most. What I particularly like is that there is no separate hub required. They simply connect to Wi-Fi, integrate into the rest of the smart-home setup, and get on with the job.Considering the price, I think they are excellent value. I’ve bought multiple sets and would happily buy more.Ver másVer menos
