So amazing... Shame price keeps going up
This lube is phenomenal for what I needed it for (toys). It didn't leak and dribble all over and into where I was sitting/laying... Unfortunately keep keep raising the prices. I was getting them when it was just 10 per 4oz. Bottle with the 2 pack being something like 21?A shame because I haven't found a decent replacement for this lube... But for anyone with them deep pockets and wallets, definitely would go with this.Ver másVer menos

Good so far for what I use it for (menstrual disc)
I decided to try this out to use with my menstrual disc—the brand I had been using (specifically for reusable cups/discs) works really well but it was getting really expensive, since my cycle is stupid long & problematic due to a medical issue. (Yes, I’ve seen my doctor.) Good Clean Love Almost Naked seemed to be pretty much what I was looking for (limited ingredient list, no glycerin, more of a gel than a liquid, and a reasonable price). I don’t need vanilla flavor, but I thought it would be worth a try anyway.I am *so* happy this stuff stays put. Like I said, my use probably isn’t the usual primary use, but trying to get a menstrual cup or disc to stay pinched when the lubricant’s running under your fingers is pretty much impossible. If you’re looking for a water-based lubricant that doesn’t instantly take on a mind of its own, this one meets that criteria.So far I’ve had no urinary tract or yeast issues. Occasionally I feel a slight sting, but it goes away within seconds and doesn’t happen all the time. I have dryness due to another medical condition that sometimes gets worse unexpectedly, so if I’m not on top of that, that’s when the stinging is more likely to occur. Most importantly, this lubricant doesn’t cause that bits of glass feeling that I’ve had with some other water-based lubricants. I have a history of sensitivities and overall my-body-hates-everything, so I’m glad this is working out so far.Like I said, my menstrual disc doesn’t require vanilla flavor/scent, but the scent isn’t terribly pervasive/noticeable. Out of curiosity I tasted a small amount. It’s vanilla, but also not a sugary sweet vanilla, so do with that what you will. (If they ever come out with an unscented/unflavored version, I’ll probably jump ship to that one unless the ingredients are wildly different.)Overall: I think this is worth a shot if you’re looking for a lubricant that can stay put, or for a menstrual cup/disc. I haven’t found one yet that people haven’t had a bad reaction to, so YMMV. But for me, I just reordered the two-pack so I can suffer through shark week without having to worry about that part of it at least for probably close to a year.Ver másVer menos

Gentle, Natural Lubricant but Not Long-Lasting
Very gentle and natural lubricant. I bought it because I had dryness after giving birth, and this product felt comfortable and didn’t cause any irritation. It’s not sticky, has no strong smell, and is easy on sensitive skin. However, if you prefer longer-lasting glide, this one doesn’t stay slick for very long.Ver másVer menos

<cross posted>I Have an issue where many lubricants cause a small burning sensation, so I set out to find ones that didn’t. I ended up trying three. Love Sesh (Playground), Aloe Cadabra (Natural Aloe), and Almost Naked (Good Clean Love). All three passed the ‘no burning test’. Below is my assessment of them.Love Sesh- Was the most expensive ($20)- Carried a smell (not unpleasant) in the bottle, which grew stronger on the skin. (Like a minty vanilla?)- Is almost—sticky? (When poured in my hand it strings when I pull my fingers apart.){3/5} - while the smell on the skin was pleasant, the price and feel or the product left me unhappy. (I can’t speak to the longevity during use as it wasn’t the one I went with)Aloe Cadabra- 1/2 the price of Love Sesh, but not cheaper than Almost Naked- No smell in the bottle, but chemical (unpleasant) smell on the skin- When in my hand, the lubricant felt good—not tacky{3/5} - While the price and feel were ultimately better than the prior choice, the scent on the skin was a turn off. (I can’t speak to the longevity during use as it wasn’t the one I went with)Almost Naked- The cheapest of the three (I think $7.99), the price was way more palatable- Almost a vanilla scent in the bottle, which carries through onto the skin- Similar tackiness to Love Sesh, but almost thicker- When in use, works as it should{4/5} *the winner* - Based on the price, smell, and effectiveness during use, Almost Naked was the one I would purchase again.** As these products are non refundable—I will use the Love Sesh before purchasing more of the Almost Naked. OMG!! Please read this before you buy this product! I’ve been using this product since my partial hysterectomy seven years ago. My surgeon told me to invest in a good lube. I got on Amazon and I saw the reviews were pretty good for this brand. I made the mistake of not reading the negative reviews. That includes three stars and down. Anyway, I have had bouts for the last seven years where I feel like I have a UTI or a raging vaginal infection. I didn’t. I have gone through months of pelvic floor therapy. I have started vaginal estradiol (which I do stand standby and I think most women should do). But there would be moments/months in that time where I would have what I mentioned above. I can’t say for certain, but I’m pretty sure that that’s when I would notice more intense burning when I would use this lube. I thought it was just rebalancing my micro biome. Fast forward to now. I went on a week vacation road trip with my daughter. When I returned home, my husband and I were getting intimate. I used this lube as I have most consistently through the past seven years. I made a comment that night how it was burning terribly bad. And how it always seems that when I go for some time without using it, the burn is terrible. FYI, ladies, you shouldn’t be having any burning at all. The next day, I had some residual irritation, but not horrible. Two days later, I used it again. Again, a ton of burning and discomfort. The next day I used the same brand’s vaginal moisturizer thinking that would help (same chemical makeup of the lube btw). Today, it’s two days later and I feel like I have a major vaginal infection like I have in the past. Yesterday it felt like a UTI as well. It is neither of those things. My vaginal tissue is burned. And I realize now that since my hysterectomy, my tissue is more sensitive. And as I move further into menopause, even with estradiol therapy, it continues to be more sensitive. This lube is too harsh. Just for kicks and giggles. I decided to take some of the lube and rub it onto my inner wrist area. 20 minutes later a visible burn showed up. I actually cannot believe this. I am disposing of every tube that I have. I hope more people read this review.Ver másVer menos
