Glad we got the big bottle! Great product and great squirt bottle format!, UPDATE: new bottle poorly packaged, pump cap smashed
The product itself is great. It has a nice medium lubricity, avoids chafing but not so slick that sensation is reduced. Being water based (not silicone), it dries up but not too quickly, and works well with latex or nitrile barriers. It doesn't oil-stain fabrics like silicone does and washes out of them with no problem. I don't recommend ingesting any quantity of it, but the product has a slightly sweet, fruity flavor and scent when wet, though I can't tell whether this is added or just natural. Once dry on the skin, it leaves a very slight, very thin non-greasy film, something like a moisturizer. Dry, it has a slight scent which is completely different than when wet, which is neither pleasant nor unpleasant (to me) and which washes off easily. As for logistics, the squirt bottle is nice because it's usable one handed, but you do need a flat surface nearby to set it on. The full bottle weighs about two pounds so it doesn't tend to slide away when you use the squirter. The bottle is big - 3.1 inches in diameter so it doesn't tip or pop out from under the squirter easily, and about 11.5 inches to the top of the squirter. I recommend just keeping it right out there on the nightstand, but the height can make it a little difficult if you want or need to store it out sight. I don't know whether the bottle will leak if stored on its side, but I'd expect it to (and the label says "Keep bottle upright"). The squirter doesn't have a push-down-and-twist-to-lock feature to seal it. Overall, this is a great product in a convenient squirt-bottle format. By the way, for travel, squirt some into these bottles: "MoYo Natural Labs 2 oz Travel Bottles, TSA Approved Empty Travel Containers with Disc Caps" which seem to seal and work well, and be sure to leave a little airspace in the bottle, and Ziploc or double Ziploc it just in case.Update: Bought a second bottle - somehow lost the first one. Lost a 32 ounce bottle of lube. We're hoping it will turn up. Anyway, the new bottle arrived in a standard amazon box a little bigger than the bottle, with three "pillow" air cushions in it and no other restraint. The cap had been smashed in and lube had leaked, soaking about half the inside of the box. Interestingly outside the box only one small corner of the box showed any moistening. The only problem with all this was that the pump cap was ruined, so we'll need to pour it into a different bottle to dispense it. Would consider returning, but too much of a hassle.Ver másVer menos
