Best Mount on the Market
I’ve only had this mount installed for a short time, so I can’t speak to long-term use yet, but so far I’m very happy with it. The instructions were clear, everything needed for installation was included, and the template made setup pretty straightforward.The mount itself is heavy, but that’s because it’s built solidly. Once I had the holes drilled, I was able to install it myself, although having a second person would definitely make it easier. Everything felt sturdy right away, with no looseness or wobble in the swivel points. The movement is smooth, and the leveling adjustment helped get the TV perfectly straight after mounting.One of the biggest reasons I bought this mount was because my studs are spaced wider than normal due to a pocket door nearby. A lot of mounts would not work for my setup, and the ones that did were extremely expensive. This one fit perfectly and cost much less than some of the other options I looked at.I also like being able to pull the TV out and angle it when sitting off to the side. It makes a big difference when watching TV or playing games from different spots in the room. My 65” TV is around 53 pounds, and this mount handles it with no problem at all.Overall, this is a well-built, sturdy mount that was easy to install and works exactly as expected. Outstanding Wall Mount That Has Proven Itself Over Many Years
This is my second purchase of the ECHOGEAR MaxMotion TV Wall Mount, and I came back to it because my first one has been working perfectly since 2016. It has never sagged, slipped, or caused any problems at all, so I knew I could trust it again for my new setup.I installed this new mount for my 77 inch LG B5 television, and it performs just as well as my original one. The build quality feels very strong, and the full motion movement is smooth, steady, and easy to adjust. It pulls out, swivels, and tilts with no effort, and it stays exactly where I place it.The installation process was simple and very clear. The instructions made sense, the hardware felt solid, and everything lined up well with the studs. Once the television was on the mount, it sat level and extremely secure.I am very impressed with how reliable this product has been for almost a decade, and I am just as impressed with the new one. Nice gear!
Purchased for a 75” patio TV, which has not yet arrived. But I have installed the mount, which is progress.The mount is excellent quality and was easy to mount. The instructions were simple and clear, and the mounting hardware was included. I did install a cedar backer board on the brick and mounted the mount to the backer board. It’s super sturdy.What I like about this mount is the ability to ensure it’s level after installation. Simple twists of a couple of screws is all it takes to ensure it’s perfect on the wall. Nothing is worse that going to all the trouble to mount something precisely and correctly and then being able to detect one side higher than the other once installed. This mount prevents that from happening.Looking forward to getting my TV on the mount! So far, so great. Highly recommended.Ver másVer menos

I can't believe I've never made a review...
The first time I bought this mount was 5+ years ago. It has traveled from home to home and even made it across multiple states. This mount is heavy-duty, well made, and thoughtfully designed.Heavy gauge steel, smooth and strong arms, full motion without resistance, etc. are great. At this time, I have three of these mounts. The most recent one I bought a couple weeks ago, and the quality is just as good as it was from the original one I bought.I've used this mount on an 85" TV and two 65" TVs, it does not droop or ever feel like it can't handle the weight, even when you pull the mount out to work on stuff behind it.Installation is a breeze, especially if you're handy, the only gripe I could see is simply the weight of the mount, but you need that kind of weight to handle such heavy TVs that are full motion and can pull away from the wall such a large distance.If you're looking for a full motion mount that will last a lifetime, you can't find a better product. Easy to install, works beautifully, and is very well made. Couldn't ask for more.
When we first purchased our 65" Samsung TV, we had quite a bit of trouble finding a wall mount that would work, given the wall setup where we needed to mount it. The area borders on a pocket door, and so the stud centering is about 21" on center. Not all TV mounts can accommodate that kind of span. So, although we found some full-motion mounts that would work, they were absolutely cost-prohibitive ($350+). We instead opted for a cheaper mount that only allowed for tilt adjustment. This mount worked fine, but it didn't exactly hug the wall and the movement was extremely limited.In more recent years, we've noticed that when looking at the TV from an extreme angle, the picture is a bit washed out, so I renewed my search for a better mount, when I happened upon this one. Seeing as how it is well-priced (relative to the others I've had looked at), I wasn't expecting much - especially since some of the reviewers indicated dissatisfaction with some of the features. I'm glad I didn't let the naysayers dissuade me.First off, this mount is very easy to install. They include detailed instructions, all the hardware you'd need, and a template to make sure that you're dead-on with your lag bolts. You will of course need a stud sensor, and it's going to be critically important that you hit dead-center on the stud, so a little care and attention to detail is warranted. But once the brackets are properly mounted (both to the TV and the wall), the rest is a cake walk. Every imaginable adjustment is available, so you do need to take your time and lock in those adjustments you won't frequently use. For me that is the tilt and level adjustment.Once you've got it setup, the motiom is smooth and fluid. When I'm sitting in my recliner, which is almost at a 90 degree angle from the TV, I can pull the TV away from the wall and position it exactly as I like. This is particularly great for video games. The mount itself is a little on the heavy side, but is quality-made. All the motions are smooth and well-weighted. If you just want it flat against the wall, the space it consumes is shockingly narrow. Even with the entire screen having a bit of a tilt (to prevent glare), it still has less of a gap to the wall than the previous mount that had very little adjustment at all. In summary, I couldn't be more satisfied with my purchase. It's not cheap, but relative to the other mounts on the market, it's very well-priced and well-made

Almost perfect....
So I have had MANY TV mounts and this mount is by far my favorite. It's heavy duty - easy to install, allows for adjustment to the TV and allows the TV to easily be moved as needed. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is one flaw no mounting holes in the center of the bracket. In my application (over a fire place) I'm hanging an 85" TV that weighs over 100lbs. The problem is -- the studs I need to mount the bracket have a stud DEAD CENTER of the fire place. So it's impossible to center this bracket.... Studs are 16" on center -- so I have to install it "off-center" on one side or the other -- not a big deal --- IF the TV could slide the opposite direction to re-center it on the wall. Well -- my TV is big -- so it only has about 2" of movement on the wall mount to adjust the other way. So -- my TV ends up NOT being centered. I ended up having to drill holes into the bracket to make it work. ECHOGEAR needs to make a larger bracket or other changes to allow for some adjustment.....Ver másVer menos
