Best Mount on the Market
I’ve only had this mount installed for a short time, so I can’t speak to long-term use yet, but so far I’m very happy with it. The instructions were clear, everything needed for installation was included, and the template made setup pretty straightforward. The mount itself is heavy, but that’s because it’s built solidly. Once I had the holes drilled, I was able to install it myself, although having a second person would definitely make it easier. Everything felt sturdy right away, with no looseness or wobble in the swivel points. The movement is smooth, and the leveling adjustment helped get the TV perfectly straight after mounting. One of the biggest reasons I bought this mount was because my studs are spaced wider than normal due to a pocket door nearby. A lot of mounts would not work for my setup, and the ones that did were extremely expensive. This one fit perfectly and cost much less than some of the other options I looked at.I also like being able to pull the TV out and angle it when sitting off to the side. It makes a big difference when watching TV or playing games from different spots in the room. My 65” TV is around 53 pounds, and this mount handles it with no problem at all.Overall, this is a well-built, sturdy mount that was easy to install and works exactly as expected. For the price, I think it’s a very good value.Ver másVer menos

Outstanding Wall Mount That Has Proven Itself Over Many Years
This is my second purchase of the ECHOGEAR MaxMotion TV Wall Mount, and I came back to it because my first one has been working perfectly since 2016. It has never sagged, slipped, or caused any problems at all, so I knew I could trust it again for my new setup.I installed this new mount for my 77 inch LG B5 television, and it performs just as well as my original one. The build quality feels very strong, and the full motion movement is smooth, steady, and easy to adjust. It pulls out, swivels, and tilts with no effort, and it stays exactly where I place it.The installation process was simple and very clear. The instructions made sense, the hardware felt solid, and everything lined up well with the studs. Once the television was on the mount, it sat level and extremely secure.I am very impressed with how reliable this product has been for almost a decade, and I am just as impressed with the new one. I highly recommend the ECHOGEAR MaxMotion mount to anyone who wants strength, smooth movement, and long term dependability.Ver másVer menos

Nice gear!
Purchased for a 75” patio TV, which has not yet arrived. But I have installed the mount, which is progress. The mount is excellent quality and was easy to mount. The instructions were simple and clear, and the mounting hardware was included. I did install a cedar backer board on the brick and mounted the mount to the backer board. It’s super sturdy. What I like about this mount is the ability to ensure it’s level after installation. Simple twists of a couple of screws is all it takes to ensure it’s perfect on the wall. Nothing is worse that going to all the trouble to mount something precisely and correctly and then being able to detect one side higher than the other once installed. This mount prevents that from happening.Looking forward to getting my TV on the mount! So far, so great. Highly recommended.Ver másVer menos

I can't believe I've never made a review...
The first time I bought this mount was 5+ years ago. It has traveled from home to home and even made it across multiple states. This mount is heavy-duty, well made, and thoughtfully designed.Heavy gauge steel, smooth and strong arms, full motion without resistance, etc. are great. At this time, I have three of these mounts. The most recent one I bought a couple weeks ago, and the quality is just as good as it was from the original one I bought.I've used this mount on an 85" TV and two 65" TVs, it does not droop or ever feel like it can't handle the weight, even when you pull the mount out to work on stuff behind it.Installation is a breeze, especially if you're handy, the only gripe I could see is simply the weight of the mount, but you need that kind of weight to handle such heavy TVs that are full motion and can pull away from the wall such a large distance. If you're looking for a full motion mount that will last a lifetime, you can't find a better product. Great product, great build quality, great everything.Ver másVer menos

Easy to install, works beautifully, and is very well made. Couldn't ask for more.
When we first purchased our 65" Samsung TV, we had quite a bit of trouble finding a wall mount that would work, given the wall setup where we needed to mount it. The area borders on a pocket door, and so the stud centering is about 21" on center. Not all TV mounts can accommodate that kind of span. So, although we found some full-motion mounts that would work, they were absolutely cost-prohibitive ($350+). We instead opted for a cheaper mount that only allowed for tilt adjustment. This mount worked fine, but it didn't exactly hug the wall and the movement was extremely limited. In more recent years, we've noticed that when looking at the TV from an extreme angle, the picture is a bit washed out, so I renewed my search for a better mount, when I happened upon this one. Seeing as how it is well-priced (relative to the others I've had looked at), I wasn't expecting much - especially since some of the reviewers indicated dissatisfaction with some of the features. I'm glad I didn't let the naysayers dissuade me.First off, this mount is very easy to install. They include detailed instructions, all the hardware you'd need, and a template to make sure that you're dead-on with your lag bolts. You will of course need a stud sensor, and it's going to be critically important that you hit dead-center on the stud, so a little care and attention to detail is warranted. But once the brackets are properly mounted (both to the TV and the wall), the rest is a cake walk. Every imaginable adjustment is available, so you do need to take your time and lock in those adjustments you won't frequently use. For me that is the tilt and level adjustment.Once you've got it setup, the motiom is smooth and fluid. When I'm sitting in my recliner, which is almost at a 90 degree angle from the TV, I can pull the TV away from the wall and position it exactly as I like. This is particularly great for video games. The mount itself is a little on the heavy side, but is quality-made. All the motions are smooth and well-weighted. If you just want it flat against the wall, the space it consumes is shockingly narrow. Even with the entire screen having a bit of a tilt (to prevent glare), it still has less of a gap to the wall than the previous mount that had very little adjustment at all. In summary, I couldn't be more satisfied with my purchase. It's not cheap, but relative to the other mounts on the market, it's very well-priced and well-made

Almost perfect....
So I have had MANY TV mounts and this mount is by far my favorite. It's heavy duty - easy to install, allows for adjustment to the TV and allows the TV to easily be moved as needed. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is one flaw no mounting holes in the center of the bracket. In my application (over a fire place) I'm hanging an 85" TV that weighs over 100lbs. The problem is -- the studs I need to mount the bracket have a stud DEAD CENTER of the fire place. So it's impossible to center this bracket.... Studs are 16" on center -- so I have to install it "off-center" on one side or the other -- not a big deal --- IF the TV could slide the opposite direction to re-center it on the wall. Well -- my TV is big -- so it only has about 2" of movement on the wall mount to adjust the other way. So -- my TV ends up NOT being centered. I ended up having to drill holes into the bracket to make it work. ECHOGEAR needs to make a larger bracket or other changes to allow for some adjustment.....Ver másVer menos

Sturdy, Easy to Install, and great for non-symmetrical wall layout
I mounted my old 42" Vizio on this yesterday. While some may not like the corny instructions I was a fan and found them extremely easy to follow. I opted for this mount over others for several reasons including price, the width of the wall mount itself to future-proof against wider studs, the full articulation, and user reviews. I am definitely not a DIYer and had my heavy 65" 4k tv professionally mounted. I figured for my older and lighter 42" I'd give it a try myself. The instructions were easy and I took it slow to make sure I did everything correctly. It was an easy install and I had almost all of the tools on hand: stud finder, power drill, level, tape measure (correct placement of the tv is key!), screwdriver/screwdriver drill attachments, and a socket wrench. Due to the shape of the bracket with a 'lip' my socket wrench could not tighten the screws into the wall the whole way - I had a set of flat wrenches. Make sure you have one that protrudes out so you can tighten the bolts in a recessed area. I'm not sure the technical term for all of this but it was just something I had not thought of. After a quick trip to Home Depot and a $5 attachment for my power drill, it was off to the races. I hung this mount myself up high in my bedroom using a sturdy ladder with a support that was able to hold the mount up while I tightened. It's manageable to hang it yourself but I would recommend having a friend help you out just to be safe - the mount is heavy! The bedroom in my apartment has five walls - think about taking one of the corners and putting a small 6-ft wide wall in its place - so I wanted the full motion mount to be able to orient my tv properly for my bed. The mount worked like a dream - easy swivel motion and once I had tightened the tilt mechanism on the back of the tv it was good to go! I took my good old time with the installation to make sure everything went smoothly and was just how I wanted it and finished in about an hour. For reference, my only other DIY experience is assembling Ikea furniture six years ago, drilling a coat rack into the wall, and swapping out shower heads. Make sure you have all the proper tools, measure everything out, take your time, and you'll have a great wall mount up!Ver más

Sturdy and Clean Adjustable TV Wall Mount
Extremely clean solution for mounting a TV to the wall. The mount is solid and sturdy and has no problems with my 65" TV. I think the extending and articulating arm is worth it, not because I watch TV from different spots, but because it makes plugging and unplugging things much much easier. Everything you need to mount the TV (hardware, guides, etc.) is included.Ver másVer menos

Excelente soporte, en realidad la marca se ve que tiene buenos estándares de calidad, la calidad del acero es muy resistente, necesitas buena herramienta para instalarlos, como llave de dados de 10mm, un buen rotomartillo para hacer las perforaciones, ya puesto el soporte se siente muy resistente, yo me recargaba completamente sobre el y peso 72 KG, sin moverse ni rechinar. vale la pena la espera que sea importado de USA.Ver másVer menos

Well made, easy to install
We bought this to hang our 55" TV.We chose this model to fit the bolt pattern on our TV and after finishing the install, we are confident this is a good product. This appears to be well made and good quality. The mount is packaged very well, we had no concerns anything inside was damaged, and there is a great selection of screws and spacers. The lag bolts were good quality. The instructions are the best : clear, well written, good pictures, and they have some fun too.As the product claims, this is very easy to install. The template is accurate and makes this a quick job (once you find the centre of your studs). If you are unsure at all, watch the installation video - it's only a few minutes long and is a reliable demonstration of all the steps. The mount moves smoothly when pulled away from the wall and pushed back in.Great options for extending out from the wall, tilting down, changing viewing angle - all the product descriptions for range of motion are accurate and easy to adjust.Ver másVer menos

This mount ROCKS, just buy it and load up your TV already would ya!?
I poured over many reviews and Q and A's for all kinds of different TV mounts on Amazon, google searching "Best Of" and review sites, checking out many big-box stores, etc etc. and finally decided on ECHOGEAR. I'm glad I did. The price was right, the mount is super sturdy, and the instructions are crystal clear. The company also has a great sense of humour. All big wins!Installation was pretty easy and straightforward. The instructions are excellent. This mount is sturdy! I love the fact that it extends out 22" - just what I was looking for - a good solid mount that retracts very close to the wall, yet extracts way out so I can turn my TV to see it from the other room (while making supper or eating at the table).I've included photos with my new 55" Samsung TV on it. We'll be looking for a nice table to go underneath the TV now and repurpose the old stand. A nice cable cover for the wall and things will look even better.I purchased this so I have the option of putting a much larger (and heavier) TV on it in the future. My TV is in very safe hands - this thing ain't going nowhere!Ver másVer menos
