  Honestly, these mats are great. I was tired of my old metal drying rack taking up half my counter, so I gave these a shot and they work perfectly. They lay flat, grip the counter well, and water actually drains off instead of pooling underneath. I've also used one to rest hot pots on and it handled the heat just fine with no weird smell or melting. When I'm done, I just roll it up and toss it under the sink, super convenient.
