These replacement water filters for Samsung refrigerators offer excellent value. I've purchased several aftermarket filters over the years, and these are comparable in quality to my usual brand while costing even less. Considering genuine Samsung filters typically cost around $35–$40 each, getting a three-pack for less than the price of a single OEM filter can add up to significant savings over time.Installation is quick and just as easy as replacing the factory filter. One important tip: make sure the filter is fully seated and locked into place. I once failed to do this and came home to a flooded refrigerator and water on my kitchen floor. That was entirely user error, not the filter's fault. If you hear water continuously running after installation, remove the filter and reinstall it until it's properly seated. Great option vs OEM!!
Oem filters for our Samsung fridge are so expensive that I decided to try a generic brand. This 3-pack is very affordable and a great option. As you can see from the photos it’s almost identical, and more importantly it fits properly and doesn’t leak. We’ve been using one of these for the past month and it’s been working great! Excellent value with clear ice and great-tasting water!
These replacement water filters are compatible and fit my Samsung tablet fridge perfectly and look identical to the original manufacturer filters, but at a much better value. The first filter I installed leaked immediately, and water poured out around the filter housing despite reinstalling it and making sure it was seated correctly. It was frustrating and made me think there was an issue with my refrigerator.I decided to try the second filter in the pack, and thankfully it installed perfectly with no leaks at all. Once it was in place, the water tasted noticeably cleaner and fresher, and the water flow remained strong.The filtration performance has been excellent, but the defective first filter raises some concerns about quality control. Fortunately, having multiple filters in the pack meant I had a backup ready to go.Overall, this is a good value replacement filter that delivers clean-tasting water, but if you happen to get a leaky filter, don't give up right away—it may just be an isolated defect. Better Water Flow Than the Original Samsung Filter
My Samsung refrigerator had developed low water flow, and the red filter-replacement warning had been blinking for several months. I ordered the CHOPLO DA97-17376B Water Filter Replacement for Samsung HAF-QIN/EXP, 3-Pack from the Choplo Store, which specializes in aftermarket refrigerator water filters. The seller reports 0.5-micron filtration precision and 30% higher carbon density, which should help with chlorine odor reduction and filtration. I was not familiar with the brand and was concerned that the higher carbon density could reduce water flow. However, I was wrong. The new Choplo filter provides strong water flow, even better than the original Samsung filter when it was new.Installation was simple and quick: twist the old filter counterclockwise and remove it, then insert the new one and lock it by turning clockwise. The new filter fits perfectly. I did not observe any dirty (charcoal dust) water from the freshly installed filter or any leaks. Each filter is individually sealed and designed for six months or 300 gallons, which is typical for this type of product. Three Choplo filters cost less than one original Samsung filter, although this set of three filters is slightly more expensive than many other aftermarket options.
