Silent
This is the best creamy smooth buttery keyboard. Its the perfect keyboard for in office to not disturb my coworkers. I almost prefer this one over the 108 pro but both have their perks. Its an all around clean keyboard and will be a great addition to anyone's style/themed desk.Ver másVer menos

Brilliant keycap lighting, silent switches & solid build quality make an outstanding 99-key!
My preferred form factor is "99 key" since the inclusion of navigation keys and numpad greatly expand capability and customization potential over the seemingly more common 75% and smaller formats. The Aula F99 Pro does some interesting things with its layout and its actually half an inch wider than the normal non-Pro F99. It adds a knob that controls volume by turning it and muting (by clicking it), that doubles as an RGB lighting dimming/selection control - but I found that it defaults to RGB which may be confusing for users. You have to click and hold the knob for 5 seconds or so to switch between modes and this is NOT on the instruction card. While the regular F99 has PgUp/PgDn/Home and End, this one opts to leave End out and you have to hit Fn+Home to get it, which works well enough; Home, PgUp and PgDn are on an added 3-key island between the main typing area and the numpad. Between Del and the knob are Scroll Lock(Sclk) and calculator for some reason; I don't think these are good choices but at least they can be reprogrammed to be keys that are more essential such as End or Insert (which is also missing). There is an extra RGB strip between Escape and the F key section that doesn't do anything important but can be set for different glow patterns. The mechanical switches on this one are the silent linear type which have a distinctly different feel. They have less throw or travel and almost feel tactile. I like them a lot and prefer them to normal linear switches. Keycaps are shine-thru with south facing legends so from the top view and when nothing is illuminated you don't see any letters or legends at all which is a look that some may prefer. But where these keycaps take it even further is the backs and sides of the keycaps also emanate light - making the entire device glow more vibrantly! Most other things this model hasl is rather standard: the switches are hot-swappable, there's tri-mode connectivity (USB wired, 2.4 Ghz dongle and bluetooth), software is the typical "OEMDRV" that these brands use, and it can customize keys and RGB lighting, and this keyboard allows 2 Fn layers so its better than some nerfed implementations that only allow 1. RGB lighting mode selections are average, or below average to me as there is no lit reactive mode for this keyboard. There is a dongle storage slot on the back wall of the keyboard, and the cable it comes with is a standard USB-C to USB-A and does not have a right angle plug. 2 extra mechanical switches and a keycap/switch puller are included. For the $90 price at the time I got it, it is more expensive than a lot of similar options but the especially nice keycaps with south legends and side shine-thru, knob, and extra islanded keys may put this over as being much more capable and attractive than those alternatives. The things I wish it had are QMK/VIA programmability, better RGB/ lit reactive lighting modes or screen - but I feel the F99 Pro does enough better and differently with great build quality to still warrant 5 stars!Ver másVer menos

Nice Silent Keyboard - Switches aren't for me though
This is my first mechanical keyboard and I've learned that switch selection is a very subjective choice. I say that as the switches in this keyboard aren't the right ones for me, but the keyboard itself is a good product. Even though these switches aren't for me, I will be keeping the board as I like the other features.For me the silent switches feel a bit mushy or cushiony and they are a bit too reactive. Barely tapping a key offers enough pressure to activate the key. The latter can be learned around as muscle memory, but the feel just isn't what I'm looking for. They are very silent switches as you can hear in the video I've attached. I do like that feature of the switches.The keyboard itself is a nice 99 key with a small natural tilt for ergonomics. There are two different sets of flip out feet to increase the tilt to your desired height. I quite like the highest height for better ergonomics. The middle ones offer about a quarter of an inch of height and the tallest half an inch. The keyboard has a hefty feel to it with a surprising weight. I ordered the white version and when it arrived I was a bit surprised to see a bit of a pink hue to the keyboard. The silent switches have a pink rubber jacket and when the LEDs are off a bit of the hue is reflected in the keycaps.The keyboard can be used on Bluetooth, wired USB-C, or 2.4ghz with the included USB dongle. The dongle stores in the back of the computer using a magnet. I have had no connectivity issues with Bluetooth or the 2.4ghz dongle. Battery life has been solid where I have yet to charge it within the first two weeks of me using it.The wheel knob was a major selling point for me as my last keyboard featured a volume knob as a feature I loved. The knob has a nice satisfying click when turned. The knob only adjusts volume when the keyboard is in "office mode". Switching modes is as simple as long pressing on the knob. The second mode lets you easily change through LED patterns and adjust the brightness.The keyboard can only get updated from the Driver Software when it is plugged in via USB. The Driver software is fleshed out with a lot of options. I like that there is a dedicated key to launch the calculator app. It's also easy to change it to another function. There are several different LED options. For me RGB isn't a selling point, but the LEDs work well with no visible flickering. If you are an RGB head I think you'll be happy with the potential choices.There are numerous keyboard shortcuts listed in the manual to quickly change settings, connect to a new device, or check battery life. Its worth checking out and keeping on hand.Overall its a fully featured 99 Keyboard with good features and construction. The included switches are nice and silent. Just not the right feel for me personally. The keycaps are nice and feature the LED glow well. The keyboard comes with 2 spare switches, a braided USB-A to USB-C cable, and a keycap puller. I can happily recommend the product.

Cute but not quite silent
This keyboard is super nice and comfortable to type on. Took me a bit to get used to, as some of the keys are in different places spatially than I'm used to. The connection is good- I've just been using the wired connection so haven't really tested the battery life. The lights are easy to change and customize. The keys are pretty mushy, and are relatively sensitive, which is nice for typing quickly. They are not silent though, which was disappointing because many of the reviews noted that it is silent. I just plugged in my external microphone to try to filter out the sound so the people I'm talking to don't hear it. It's not as loud as my laptop keyboard, so it's fine. The keyboard is worth the money and I love the esthetic. It matches the color of my mouse.Ver másVer menos

Quiet but snappy keys, and the battery lasts for ages — even with RGB on
[update] Ultimately, I couldn't get used to a full-size keyboard again, so my wife was happy to replace her old Razer BlackWidow with it. She's been using the Aula F99 daily for 8+ hours with RGB lighting on for over a week and hasn't needed to charge it yet, so battery life is solid. She's using it with the dongle plugged into a USB hub so she can quickly switch between her work laptop and gaming PC, and it's worked perfectly.This doesn't seem to have a 75% version yet, so I went with a YUNZII C75 for myself as skipping the numpad to get the mouse closer to center significantly improves back pain for me (also it looks like a cat). For anyone without that issue, the Aula F99 Pro is an excellent keyboard that feels like a premium build.[original] My daily keyboard for a few years now has been a Mistel Baracco MD770 with Cherry MX Brown switches. This Aula F99 Pro is quieter with a much softer feel — gentle and unobtrusive, not mushy or unresponsive. The pudding keycaps have a comfortable top profile with finger placement indicators on the F and J, and really let the RGB shine through.Since I’m used to the MD770 which is a split ergonomic keyboard without a 10-key pad, this a bit of an adjustment although it’s comfortable enough. The knob is functional but underutilized — I found myself wishing its face could double as a pointer device. Since the numpad shifts everything left, I’ve been off-setting the board to keep the letters centered which is a bit awkward.That said, the wheel does work great on my MacBook for adjusting the volume and can be pushed to toggle sound on/off which is a feature I use regularly as I get a lot of alerts throughout the day.Overall I’m absolutely shocked by the quality of this keyboard, especially for below $100. It’s a perfect warm vintage pink, built like a heavy little tank with excellent battery life, and really pleasant to use.Ver másVer menos
