Perfect size, work with Windows 11

I have been using a small, compact generic Bluetooth keyboard as my main keyboard for my Windows laptops, Surface Pro tablet, and now mini computer for many years.It is the perfect size for my desk, lap, and moving it around. I really love everything about it except that it is not rechargeable, requiring 2 AAA batteries, and there is a bit of lag after it sits idle a short while. Still, I love it so much that when I finally have to replace it, I wanted one the same size.When I had an opportunity to review this OMOTON Bluetooth keyboard, I jumped on it. It looked identical to my current keyboard in every way except for the color, and the OMOTON is rechargeable. Even the key size and layout are the same. Upon very close side-by-side inspection, the OMOTON keyboard is maybe a slight ½ inch longer than the generic Bluetooth keyboard I have been using for the past 5-6 years.Still, I really love the color of my old generic Rose Gold keyboard with White keys and Grey letters better because I am so used to it. It is easy on the eyes and always looks clean and bright to me. But unfortunately, nothing lasts forever.The only problem I see is that this OMOTON keyboard claims to be designed specifically for iPad series and Apple products that are iOS 14.5 or newer and states SPECIFICALLY in the instruction manual may not be compatible with Win 7PC, Bluetooth adapters, Mac mini, Mac Studio, Samsung Smart TV, and Nokia phones.I don’t own any Apple products, only Windows and Android. I believe my current generic keyboard was designed for Apple too, as it looks just like the keyboards that used to come with iMacs, but I never had a problem using it with Windows from Win 10 or 11.This Omoton keyboard comes packaged with a small, relatively cheap plastic fold-flat phone/tablet stand and oddly 2 different sets of stickers for the keys with much bigger letters making the keys easier to see and to keep the original keys from the letters wearing off.Gosh, I hope the letters don’t wear off! I have been using my old generic keyboard for over 5-6 years now, and there is no sign the letters are wearing off.I doubt I will use any of these extra accessories.It took a very short time for the charging light to turn green, indicating a full charge; now for the moment of truth! Will it connect and work with my PC?Success, it works! I connected it to my Windows 11 mini PC, and this keyboard is working very smoothly. There might be a few tiny drawbacks. So far I have noticed I have to press the Fn key to use the delete key in the top row. I may find a few other things, but so far I really like this keyboard, and it works very well with a Windows 11 PC.Now about the price. The 3 extra accessories might be a useful add-on to someone, but don’t mean much to me, and I would not choose one Bluetooth keyboard over another because of them. At the current price of $18.04, I feel this is at the top end of what I would pay for a simple rechargeable Bluetooth keyboard.Ver más
