  So good! Ive had a few different brands of meat chips and this is by far the best.

  Good but Hard to Swallow...in more than one way

  I got a chance to try out these High Ground Beef Chips. What can I say? These are thin and crunch like chips, however are made out of beef. The ingredients list is basic but I honestly could have lived without the garlic as it distracts from the taste. Overall, these beef chips taste ok, but are strange in texture at the same time.What makes these "hard to swallow" for the most part is the cost. At 2oz, somehow I hoped the bag was bigger than what it was. There are only two servings of 20g of protein, so not very much given the price. My guess is the cost is linked to this product being manufactured in Colton, California. Anywhere else and this bag could be half, even a third, of the price.Sadly, I wouldn't recommend these because, for the cost, there's too little and the taste is ok at best. If you are trying to eat super clean and basic, these might work for you.Ver másVer menos

  Epic!

  Love the brand and the product. Veteran owned, delicious crispy streak chips, with 44g of protein per bag and only 3 ingredients- what more could you want? Such a good texture and flavor combo.

  These are actually really good

  I have to say these are really good because I ate the whole bag as soon as they arrived.These are not your typical beef jerky that is thick and chunky. These are actually like potato chips, but they're made out of ground beef. I tried to take a picture and show you from the side how thin they are because it's literally like eating chips. I ate a few, and then next thing you know the whole bag was gone.The flavoring is good. The texture when you bite them is literally like eating a chip. It's crispy but flavorful. They didn't fill me up, and they didn't make me feel bloated. It was actually a really good snack, and it's something I'm going to add to my beach days or when I'm traveling.The only con I have is that when I first opened the bag, it looked only 40% full, which is disappointing because the bag shouldn't be as large as it is if it's not filled at least halfway or more.Because of that, I'm giving them a 4-star rating, but overall, these beef chips are actually really good.Ver másVer menos

  Different than jerky - tasty - crispy - very healthy.

  This bag of beef chips stresses that it contains only 3 ingredients - beef, garlic salt, and red pepper. Advertising 40 grams of protein in a package of 2 oz (57 grams) means that there is extremely little besides pure protein present. The product is gluten free, sugar free (1 g carbs), keto friendly, and has no nitrates - basically this is straight protein, more so than normal jerky. This is only achieved by driving off much more water than in jerky, which turns these into crunchy crisps (or chips), not relatively chewy jerky. These would be perfect on a hike or camping trip where weight really matters as they are very light for the amount of protein you are getting. This beef is shelf stable and will likely be good to eat for a couple years. Note that once you open this package they will go bad far more quickly - best to eat in one serving if you don't have refrigeration. This is a reasonable value for money - more expensive than typical jerky but on the basis of protein delivered it is similar. I recommend at least trying a package of these to discover if you like them - they are definitely something different and worth experiencing.Ver másVer menos

  Nice snack, a little salty for my taste

  I have always liked beef jerky but really never knew about or tried beef chips. Let's start with the basics, there are only 4 ingredients (beef, garlic, salt and ground red pepper) so you really can not get more simple than that. The chips themselves are thin and crisp, with mostly larger pieces, with very few broken pieces. The chips are tasty with a nice salty/garlic flavor and the red pepper is noticeable but not overpowering. I did find these to be a bit saltier than I like, as I tend to prefer a lighter salt flavor in all my food. Each 1oz serving (2 servings per bag), provides 20 grams of protein, is nitrate‑free, sugar‑free, gluten‑free and keto-friendly. Each 2 oz bag is ~$15.00 or roughly $7.50 for a 1 oz serving, making these roughly twice the price per oz of other beef snacks. Overall, a good protein beef snack, but just a little too salty and pricey for me.Ver másVer menos
