The best health tracker at this price.
I like the screenless design because it tracks my activity without constantly distracting me with notifications. The band is lightweight and comfortable enough to wear throughout the day and while sleeping. Heart rate, steps, workouts, and sleep information are easy to check through the app.Battery life has also been good, and I only need to charge it every 5-7 days. The app took a little time to get used to. Overall, it’s a comfortable and simple fitness tracker for anyone who doesn’t want another screen on their wrist.Ver másVer menos

Great fitness tracker for a great price—highly recommend! I’ve been using the Fitbit Air for a bit now, and it is easily one of the best trackers you can get for the price. Plus, it syncs flawlessly whether you use an iPhone or an Android.What I love:Super comfortable: It’s so lightweight and sleek that I easily wear it 24/7, even to sleep.Insane battery life: It easily lasts a full 7 to 8 days on a single charge, and it juices up incredibly fast.Very accurate: The heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and step counts are right on the money.Smart features that actually work: The auto-workout detection is seamless, calorie tracking is reliable, and the vibrating smart alarm is a game-changer for waking up peacefully.Easy to customize: Swapping out the straps to match my outfits takes seconds.A few things to note:The companion app can feel a bit clunky and needs some improvements. Luckily, Google updates it pretty often, so I expect it to get better soon. The Ultimate Everyday Companion (Even for Die-Hard Garmin Users!)
I’ve been using the Fitbit Air paired with my Android device for a few weeks now, and it has completely nailed its spot on my wrist. It’s important to understand what this device is: it’s not trying to be a bulky, do-it-all GPS sports watch. Instead, it is the absolute perfect everyday companion to an existing fitnes watch like Garmin Fenix.The Standout Features:Featherlight Comfort: This thing is incredibly lightweight. The fit is so comfortable that I completely forget I'm wearing it, which is a massive plus for 24/7 wear.Stellar Battery Life: I don’t have to baby the battery at all. It easily goes the distance, making daily charging anxiety a thing of the past.Top-Tier Sleep Tracking: As expected from Fitbit, the sleep insights are phenomenal, accurate, and easy to digest on my Android app.Plays Nice with Garmin: This was the biggest win for me. It seamlessly blends in the information from other activities recorded on my Garmin. Very good device and a nice wake up alarm.
Very light, Long battery (about a week in my experience) and nice app (google health). Having no display is no problem for my use case. I just use it and check the data from time to time.Step, pulse, sleep and O2 tracking are very good. It has become my wake alarm, its very quiet yet very effective to wake me up.Hopefully new bands become more available with time, the included one does the job, but i am a bit worried about long term durability. It has a good amount extra length, so i can see it being used by people with small and big wrists with no problem.I dont know about the water protection, i never fully trust electronics with water. I just put it away if i go swimming or before taking a bath.Finally, watch out with metal objects near the charger cable since it has magnets, and with the exposed pins that could get damaged.Ver másVer menos

Discontinued Whoop based on this
I was considering renewing my subscription with Whoop when I saw this was getting released. I used Whoop mostly for sleep and recovery, not as much for strain but I enjoyed the constant heart rate monitoring, auto workout detection, and seeing average heart rate and fluctuations during workouts. But this would also mean forking out yet another $240 for an annual subscription and then we are talking over $600 for 3 years worth of use.The Fitbit is a bit familiar to be as I used to be a Fitbit user for a long time until 2022 when I moved to Apple. First, it’s much lighter and more comfortable than Whoop. It’s also good at workout detection (and slowly getting better) and the heart rate monitoring when comparing to Whoop is spot on.This has readiness over recovery as a metric but they are similar. The Fitbit definitely under estimates REM. While I get two hours on average with Apple / Whoop this has me at about an hour and 10 minutes after two weeks of use. Also the HRV is always lower on Fitbit by about 20% sometimes more.The Health Coach is a bit of a flop and I definitely prefer the Whoop AI Coach. While it can be helpful with probing, nobody has the time for the prompts it’d take and I mostly just use it only to track my metrics and trends since the layout on the Google Health app is not nearly as nicely laid out like Whoop where you can easily track trends.But the reason I’m discontinuing my Whoop subscription is simply the ongoing cost. For $100 for a one time purchase with zero cost ongoing subscription fee if you already have AI Pro, and the trade offs are worth it.Ver másVer menos

My fitbit air
I may be a bit biased in this review because I've liked this device from the very first day I started wearing it. It's extremely lightweight and comfortable, making it easy to put on and wear throughout the day. I can perform all the activities and workouts that I normally track with my Garmin.Another highlight is the app, which I find very intuitive and user-friendly. It also allows you to connect and sync data from Garmin, which is a nice bonus.One tip I'd offer is to skip the premium subscription. After first three months of free subscription avoid renewing it. In my experience, the premium features don't provide enough additional value to justify the cost.There are a couple of improvements I'd like to see from Fitbit. First, I'd like to see accurate and reliable VO₂ max calculations. Second, while the device charges quickly and conveniently, I would love to see further improvements in battery life.Overall, it's a comfortable, easy-to-use device that integrates with other fitness platforms and delivers a good user experience.Ver másVer menos
