Easy to connect to Alexa, work great, Alexa dimmable and can change the color
Review of the Lightinginside Matter Smart Light Bulbs 100W Equivalent, Compatible with Alexa.This came in a packet of 4 lights. When I got them the 4 lights were around $36. I use Alexa to control my home lights and have an Alexa Echo device to control my lights. These are Matter Smart bulbs which means they will connect directly to 3rd party controllers like Alexa (e.g my Echo). Since I only use Alexa for light control, that is all I tried.Thoughts- It was very easy for me to get the bulb connected with Alexa. I was a little surprised since I have had trouble with other lights.- The package says its 100 watt equivalent. It is pretty bright so I assume that is correct.- You can easily dim the bulb using Alexa. This is nice since I don't always want the bulb giving off 100 watts of light. (not sure if the bulbs are physical light switch dimmer compatible... if you need that you should check the specs, many LEDs are not).- You can change the colors and this is easy to do in Alexa. I like a softer white, actually closer to a light yellow and that was easy to do.- If you turn the power off to the light (so unplug the lamp) and then turn the power back on. The light turns on. Not good or bad just a fact. When I did this the bulb quickly reconnected to Alexa and I could control it via my Echo.- $36 (price when I got these) seems to be competitive. But for me, since they easily connected to Alexa and are easy to control.. they are worth it.I am pleased with these smart lights. I would recommend these to a friend, I am glad I got them and am using them.Ver másVer menos

total game changer
Ok so I always wondered why the heck anyone would need or want smart light bulbs....but these really are a game changer. I used to have lights on timers when I traveled and I like to leave certain lights on dim at night for my cat when I am out late or away. At times I would just leave lights on 24/7 while traveling just to avoid having to program timers. I can turn them on and off from my phone. I can even easily set them on timers on my phone also. So many options! This alone is the main selling point of smart bulbs!!!This 5-star smart bulb is an absolute game-changer for your smart home. I live in an apartment and the 100W equivalent (1350LM) output fills entire rooms with brilliant, vibrant light, while the effortless cross-platform Matter compatibility makes syncing across Alexa, Apple Home, Google Home, and SmartThings a breeze. Yes...it will require that you use and possibly add another app but I feel like a lot of people have Alexa or use Google apps so this isn't too bad.They easily brighten up large living spaces and garages, yet can be dialed down to a soft, comfortable dim. You can choose from several colors and can set them indivially if you want. Customizing the mood for movie nights, parties, or morning focus is incredibly fun and easy.They feature ETL listing for safety and a highly reliable 2.4 GHz WiFi connection, these bulbs stay connected without dropping offline or requiring constant resets. Overall, if you want a bright, versatile, and future-proof smart lighting setup, this is exactly the bulb you need. They may seem a bit pricy but these break down to about $8.25/each and when you realize you no longer need timers, cords, string lights for holidays and events.....these are actually a great deal!!Ver másVer menos

Apparently My Light Bulbs Have Joined the Internet
There was a time when operating a light bulb involved walking across a room and flipping a switch. We apparently decided this was an intolerable burden, because I can now sit perfectly still and ask a disembodied voice to make the living room purple.These Matter smart bulbs are bright at 1350 lumens, and I really like having both adjustable whites and all the color options. They work with the major smart-home platforms, including Alexa, Siri/Apple Home, Google Home, and SmartThings, so they fit nicely into an existing setup without requiring you to pledge allegiance to an entirely new technological ecosystem.Once set up, being able to control the lights by voice or through smart-home routines is genuinely convenient. You can go from bright, useful lighting to something warm and relaxing without getting off the couch, which initially feels embarrassingly lazy until about the third time you do it, at which point it feels like a basic human right.The colors are fun, the bulbs are impressively bright, and getting two in the pack makes it easy to coordinate a room.I still have wall switches, of course.I assume someday I’ll tell younger people about them and they’ll look at me the way I look at someone describing a butter churn.Ver másVer menos

Easy smart home integration
I added these bulbs to our living area to improve our home automation setup and provide more control over our ambiance. They provide excellent brightness and respond quickly to commands through our preferred smart home platform.What I likeThe brightness is impressive, especially when set to a cool white for task lighting. Integrating them into our existing ecosystem was straightforward and took very little effort. The range of colors is quite good for creating different moods during the evening. Being able to adjust them remotely is very handy when we are away from the house.What I don't likeThe color transition when moving from a warm to a cool tone can be a bit abrupt rather than a smooth fade. They occasionally lose connection to the network and require a power cycle to get them back online. Easy-to-Set-Up Smart Bulbs with Great Color Options
