Overall - Excellent – Highly Recommended - Best Bang For Your Buck compared to any other $500 laptop available here on Amazon. This NIMO N153 laptop has the AMD Ryzen 5 6600H a 6-core, 12-thread processor with a 3.3 GHz base clock, up to a 4.5 GHz boost clock, and integrates Radeon 660M graphics. It has 16 GB of ADATA SO-DIMM DDR5 RAM, and a 512 GB NVMe SSD. The product description indicates this NIMO laptop comes with a Kingston PCIe 4.0 SSD. However, mine came with a Samsung BM9C1 NVMe 512GB SSD which has far superior specifications, both in performance and longevity compared to the Kingston NV3 equivalent. That's another big plus for this NIMO. Comes with Windows 11 Home, with minimal bloatware, just the usual Microsoft Office Trial Version. The outer case is solid, the color is a nice charcoal gray and the NIMO insignia on the lid lights up when powered on, all of which gives it a pleasingly unique, yet professional appearance. Nice attention to detail, from the back lit keyboard to the raised rubbery ridge along the rear of the underside to keep the underside slightly raised allowing for air flow underneath, and rubbery to grip the surface keeping the laptop from sliding around. And a little lip in the middle of the front edge of the top, just big enough to give something for your fingers to feel to raise the lid to open it. It has a physical slide shutter covering the 2.0 Mega pixels FHD camera lens for privacy. The FHD screen is Vivid, bright, and sharp. Weighs 3.8 pounds. The charger is fast with 100 watts and comes with a 6-foot charger cable. Starting with a full 100% charge, the battery lasted me 7 ½ hours before it went into hibernation at 6% remaining charge. It took just over an hour to recharge the battery to 100%. Plus, 90 day free return and a two year warranty. I’ve had it for 7 days, getting familiar with its features and operation and tweaking the settings to my liking. It’s been a learning curve for me as my old laptop was a 12 ½ year old Toshiba running Windows 8.1 being held together with wide packing tape. This NIMO boots up in 12 seconds to the desktop, loading pages off the internet is so fast it’s like opening a local file. Opening a dozen web sites with multiple copies of my Chrome browser and downloading multiple files from multiple sites at the same time didn’t slow it down at all. The Backlit Keyboard lights the actual characters, not just the area behind the keys. The backlight is activated by tapping the F9 key. Tap it again and it gets brighter. Tap it a third time and it stays on instead of timing out in about 6 seconds. Tap it a fourth time and it shuts off the backlight. If it has timed out it comes back on when you hit any key and stays on while you are typing. It also remembers your last setting when you reboot.Overall - Excellent – Highly RecommendedVer másVer menos
