Near perfect
Pricey, but worth the cost. This is such a beast of a laptop in a slim, sleek and lightweight package. I was wanting a laptop that is powerful, yet still can be used as a laptop and not a desktop in laptop form. I think I found it!LG does such a superb job engineering their products. I get that being an “everything” manufacturer like the LG brand exposes them to a lot of criticism. But they really are at the top of their game when it comes to laptops.Windows 11 isn’t the greatest OS ever, but it’s not horrible to set up. I don’t like MS spying on me, so I use a few tricks to skip the out of the box experience and don’t use a profile to set up, so that is a little more in depth, but for most users, the normal setup is fine and painless.I understand that they get a lot of flak for their monitors and some QC issues with those, but I have not found that to be the case here. This laptop is very well made. The perfect balance of lightweight and slim to strong. It doesn’t feel flimsy or “bendy”. I can pick it up off the side table and plop it on my lap and it doesn’t feel too heavy or oppressive at all or like I am going to break it.I don’t use a cooler pad or anything. Just a laptop laying right on my lap and getting work done with zero issues whatsoever. With the Intel Ultra 9 and maxed out on ram, this laptop doesn’t struggle or feel laggy or leave me wanting for my desktop. I don’t game on laptops, so this is mainly business use, web browsing, editing video, watching YouTube or whatever outside of gaming and it never seems to break a sweat. Battery life is also really good, although I do tend to keep it plugged in most of the time. But if I need to go without wall power, it gets a good amount of run time without slowing down or nagging for battery. The screen resolution is good for what I need. Text renders well, video looks clear and sharp with no real blur, tearing or lagging that I can tell. With an Nvidia RTX 5050 chipset, you could do some light PC gaming on this thing within reason. Just mind your temps. The wireless connection is strong and fast. As long as you have a good router to support it. Connectivity is no issue with USB-C and Bluetooth on tap as well. I use a Logitech Bluetooth mouse and it just works seamlessly with this laptop. Power does take up one USB-C port, but it doesn’t bother me at all for my use case. With 2 USB 3.0 and one open USB-C, plenty of other ports or hubs need be. There is no native RJ-45 Ethernet port to keep things slim, but I haven’t missed it.I think for the money, you really cannot go wrong if you want decent amount of power and capability in this sleek of a package that is a real laptop and not something you also need to drag around laptop cooler or compromise with.Ver másVer menos
