Great monitor. Tablet makes it easier for other caregivers to use
The baby monitor and tablet screen set is fantastic. We spent a while studying baby monitors and evaluated it on network security, functionality, and price, and settled on the Nanit and are happy with our choice.Ordering from Amazon experience was a little frustrating since Amazon inexplicably required a signature for this purchase on my account, but I had my husband order the same item and it didn’t require a signature for his order and we’ve now set it up and been using it for a few days.Baby monitor:Easy to set up, high quality video most of the times, and great night visionTablet:Really like that Nanit finally has a tablet so I don’t need to check my phone at night and get tempted by everything else on my phone. Tablet just wakes up with a notification when something of note happens (sound, motion, what parameters you set for notification). I do wish that the notification remains around for longer since I check a few seconds after hearing the beep and can’t find the message anymore from the notification pop up. I wish I could keep the notification until I dismiss it, or keep it for 5 min or whatever, whichever is sooner. I also really like the tablet since it enables grandparents to watch the baby and see the monitor while the baby is napping, but not have to create a login / download the app on their phones so they can get a constant feed of the baby at all times of the day.Phone App:Easy to use and intuitive app. I like the sleep score component and like comparing baby’s sleep score to my own sleep score (from my smartwatch) since I’m a data person.Sleep detection:I find some of the awake times detected is very sensitive and sometimes he’s moving around a little in his sleep, so I know that the time Nanit reports he slept underrepresents his sleep slightly. And sometimes, it doesn’t detect when I visit him when he’s in his pack n play since he’s our pack n play opens on the side and when I put him in or tend to him from the side, it doesn’t detect that action more than half the time. It does a good job detecting actions when I tend to him in his bassinet or his crib.Ver másVer menos
