Purchased for our second baby – huge upgrade from our first setup
We bought this for our second baby after a very different experience with our first. For our first child, we used a regular camera from another brand. The mounting was always an issue, and once our child got older, they could actually reach and grab the camera from the crib, which honestly felt like a safety hazard.Also, the basic camera didn’t track sleep, so we ended up buying a separate sleep-tracking sock on top of it. Managing two different devices and apps was inconvenient and not ideal, especially during those exhausting newborn months.Several friends recommended Nanit, so we decided to try it for our second child. The experience so far has been excellent. The wall mount feels much more secure and out of reach, which immediately gave us peace of mind. The sleep tracking built into the system is incredibly convenient, and it’s so much easier having everything in one app.The video quality is also fantastic, both during the day and at night. The picture is crisp and clear, and the app is very user-friendly. Setup was straightforward, and overall it just feels like a thoughtfully designed, premium product.As second-time parents, we really appreciate how much simpler this has made things.
