Clarifying Serum That Actually Helps Improve Your Skin
I love skincare and am always trying new products, especially when it comes to treatments that help with breakouts, texture, and overall skin tone. I’m always looking for something that actually improves my skin while still being gentle enough to use consistently. I have tried a lot of products over the years, so I tend to stick with what works, but I still like trying new things. When I saw this clarifying serum by Saranghae, it sounded like exactly the kind of product I go for, so I wanted to try it.This is really good quality and definitely feels like a higher end skincare product. The packaging is really nice, it comes in a frosted glass bottle with a dropper and has a very clean, minimalistic look. The consistency is lightweight with a slick, watery feel. There’s no real scent to it. It spreads easily and a little bit covers a decent amount. It absorbs quickly and leaves your skin feeling really soft and hydrated. It almost has a slightly tacky feel at first, but more in a smooth, hydrated way rather than sticky.The ingredient list is really where this stands out. It’s focused on targeting multiple concerns like breakouts, redness, and uneven skin tone. The main ingredient is potassium azeloyl diglycinate, which is a gentler, more stable form of azelaic acid that helps with redness, breakouts, and oil control without being overly irritating. It also includes 2% niacinamide for oil balance, pores, and tone, along with alpha arbutin to help with post-acne marks. There are also soothing ingredients like allantoin, and simple hydrators like glycerin, butylene glycol, and sodium hyaluronate to keep the skin feeling comfortable and hydrated. It’s fragrance-free and doesn’t contain heavy oils, which makes it really nice for acne-prone or sensitive skin, especially in areas like the beard where things can get irritated or clogged more easily.When using this, you just apply a small amount after cleansing and before your moisturizer. A little bit goes a long way so this bottle lasts a long time, which is nice. It layers nicely with other products and fits easily into a routine. I actually don’t get acne or breakouts much, so I ended up giving this to my boyfriend to use. He gets cystic acne pretty easily around and under his beard, so I figured this was perfect for him.Right after using it, his skin felt lightweight, smooth, and really comfortable. It didn’t cause any stinging or irritation, which is a big deal for him since his skin can be sensitive, especially around his beard. It helped calm some of the surface redness and just made his skin feel more balanced overall. So far, he has been using this for about two or three weeks now. This is where it really started to make a difference. He still gets breakouts here and there, but the cystic acne around and under his beard started to calm down faster and didn’t feel as deep or inflamed. He also noticed fewer new breakouts popping up, and the redness and leftover marks started to look lighter. His skin just looks more even and less irritated overall.At the current price of $69 (as of 4/4/26), I think this is a great value for a high quality product like this. Overall, this is high quality, well formulated, and really effective for acne prone and sensitive skin. He’s actually been using this consistently which says something on its own. I can’t tell you how many products I have gotten him that just sat there. i won't lie - $69 is a whole lotta money for one ounce!at least for me, though, it doesn't take very much of it at all to cover my entire face so it will last quite a long time. i've been using it for about a month and a half now and haven't used much at all.still a lot of money, for a product you don't know if you need from a brand you've probably never heard of. it comes in a frosted amber glass bottle with a clear glass dropper. the bottle itself feels weighty, solid, which is both good and bad - makes it seem like maybe it holds more than it does, but also means the bottle doesn't feel dainty and fragile. it doesn't look like cosmetics or girly, either, so it could blend in with stuff on a guy's countertop without looking like something froufy if he's concerned about that sort of thing.doesn't have a smell that i've noticed.i'm almost 50, and sometimes i get zits on my wrinkles, which is frustrating, lemmetellya.i've also got some age spots (light brown splotches) showing up, likely from all the time in the sun back in the ancient times of the 80s and early 90s.in actual use, this feels basically like a hyaluronic acid serum - clear and like kinda-thick water.smooths on instantly and dries to a slightly-kinda-tacky feeling that disappears after a few minutes. although i usually follow it up with a moisturizer while my skin is still damp from the serum - so i use less moisturizer.i admit i haven't used it every day... it has been a rough month and some days i didn't do anything at all to my face except try to avoid looking at it.i'm not sure i've noticed any improvements worth talking about - but again, i haven't used it the way they probably want me to. i'm gonna start just using it on my cheeks (where the brown spots are) and around my nose and chin (where the breakouts like to happen) just to see if continued use gives visible results.Ver másVer menos

Item came as described and as pictured. This was my first time using a clarifying serum so I was very interested and intrigued to work this into my skincare routine and have been using it now for several weeks. I immediately noticed upon application that it felt very smooth and just very nice on my face, very much like I was giving it a drink lol. Immediately can tell that it is high quality and the whole experience feels like high end skincare should. It is lightweight and does not leave my skin feeling sticky or tacky. Absorbs well for me. I really like that it gives me a nice subtle glow without looking oily nor feeling oily, very lightweight. It is smooth and a little goes a long way. I definitely would say that it feels hydrating and helps in my routine to keep my skin from drying out during these cold winter months. I have sensitive skin and have not had any negative issues with this product nor does it cause me any redness. The ingredients are also kind and actually are things that mesh well together. This serum has quickly become the star of my skincare routine, and I honestly can't imagine going back to life without it. The combination of azelaic acid, niacinamide, and alpha arbutin is a powerhouse trio that visibly targets dark spots and uneven tone without irritating my skin. After just a few weeks of consistent use, my pores look noticeably smaller and my complexion has a brightness and clarity I haven't seen in a while. Decent Results but Not a Must-Have
