Ideal formula!
I use quite a bit of brightening products in my skincare routine. I only have a few acids that I use but I know some are very helpful time to time for myself. Azelaic acid is one of the ingredients I think would be really helpful for my husband but it is very hard to keep him using products. We both have redness but in different textures. I need more of a corrector and he needs correction and a smoothing solution. We both could use this serum and I think he would benefit the most due to his skin type. I focus on reducing uneven skin tone, and a few pesky dark spots including an age spot on my forehead. I do not think this acid is ideal for that need but I did see some difference in my cheek and chin discoloration.I feel for an acid this is very absorbant and not tightening or drying. This was slurped up by my skin and I think it was quite hydrating and didn’t cause flaking of my skin. I do have normal or combination skin that can be dry in winter. I am not acne prone, and I only get hormonal blemishes on my cycle around my chin or maybe on my neck from a new retinol treatment. My husband has oily skin that is dry from inflammation and he has red cheeks with raised texture. This was a bit tingling for me, and stung a bit but only after absorbing. He did not like the feel but he is very sensory dramatic.I do sort of feel that even though my face had a skin feel reaction, my actual redness was calm and did not flare. I also noticed that my cheek and a few patches of face redness, muted within 15 minutes or so, maybe sooner. I did go after this with some centella as I find it is the best to use in combination with about everything I use.Hyaluronic acid is less of an issue, and I have been using it as a hydrating ingredient. Most acids do play well with me if I sandwich them or stage them correctly for my own skin needs. Niacinamide is something I also use a lot, my husband seems to have something against it, even though it is really helpful for both of us.There is a slight aroma, that isn’t bad or perfumed. Slightly earthy but not off putting. The serum is a nice gel meets fluid texture that has a slight tack to it. It does absorb fast for me and leaves my skin without a residue. I only really use acids at night so I don’t worry about makeup.I like that this is a very attractive modern serum that is affordable. It is peta approved too! I think this is a great little serum for both of us and I will continue to use it. I really liked how fast it absorbed. The box and the serum are both security sealed which is something I really strongly approve of.Ver másVer menos
