Phenomenal game.
This game has to be one of my favorite games made in recent years. The story is captivating and the characters are memorable. If you're one of the people who doesn't like Fae's voice being high pitched you can always change to Japanese speech and it'll be much more toned down. The gameplay is really fun like you would expect out of a top down Zelda game except this has a few more tricks up its sleeve. The world building is great. The locations and periods the game takes place in is very interesting and impactful. The game may start off a little slow or different but it definitely picks up. If you like any of the older Zelda games that are top down definitely give this game a shot. It runs and plays perfectly well on Switch 2 as well.Ver másVer menos

Gem of a game
Adventures of Elliot is a gem of a game from square Enix. The gameplay is addicting and challenging (played on hard mode). The magicite system is a fun way to level up your items. There is no true character leveling but you can adjust your weapons characteristics with different buffs utilizing magicite, and you can stack more traits as you progress through the game. The 2.5 HD world is charming. The story is good but not amazing. I highly recommend this game if you are interested in nostalgic feeling adventure games that includes exploration, platforming, and action adventure combat.Ver másVer menos

A Timeless Masterpiece!
Never has a game got me so hooked since BOTW came out! The story, action, music, and gameplay are all master class and has some of the most heart breaking plot twists I've ever seen in a game! This is an absolute must own game for anyone!

Solid title
Solid adventure game, will remind you of Zelda most definitely, link to the past to be specific. I enjoyed it a lot though, not a super lengthy game. Gonna probably finish it up and get all 3 endings in about 16-20 hours. But it was fun, enjoyable and a solid game. Not to difficult, some bosses are just reskinned but doesn’t take away from anything. One issue, some quests are long and tedious fetch quests, but doesn’t ruin the experience. And another plus, you can find cats and have them basically populate the whole beginning town lol. Seriously, you can find 50 cats, and they just lounge through out the town. You can feed and play with them also. Decent little game, enjoyed it.Ver másVer menos

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales
Charming Adventure with a Few Rough EdgesThe Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is the kind of story that feels like it was pulled from a dusty attic chest and carefully polished back to life. It has that nostalgic, storybook energy where every chapter feels like a page turning on something a little magical, a little strange, and very imaginative. The biggest strength here is the worldbuilding. Elliot’s journey across the “Millennium Tales” setting feels layered and thoughtfully crafted, with locations that stick in your mind long after you put it down. There’s a strong sense of myth and mystery woven into the narrative, and the writing does a good job balancing wonder with tension. At its best moments, it really feels like you’re uncovering a forgotten legend piece by piece.Elliot himself is a solid lead—relatable enough to guide you through the chaos, but with enough curiosity and determination to make his journey feel meaningful. Supporting characters add flavor too, even if a few of them could’ve used more time to breathe. Some interactions feel like quick sketches rather than fully developed arcs, which leaves you wanting just a bit more depth in certain emotional beats.Pacing is where the experience occasionally stumbles. The story has these fantastic bursts of energy, followed by slower stretches that can feel uneven depending on your patience for detail-heavy sections. It never completely loses momentum, but there are moments where it lingers a bit too long before pushing forward again. The writing style itself is vivid and atmospheric, sometimes beautifully so, but it can also lean into overly descriptive passages that slow things down more than necessary. A bit more tightening would elevate the flow significantly.Overall, The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is a captivating and imaginative read with strong worldbuilding and a heartfelt core. It doesn’t quite reach its full potential due to uneven pacing and occasional underdeveloped character moments, but it’s still a rewarding journey that fans of fantasy adventure stories will likely enjoy. A solid four-star experience that leaves you curious about what Elliot might discover next.Ver másVer menos

One of the best JRPGs I've played
Honestly one of the best JRPGs I've played in the last 30 years. I'm about 15 hours into it and the story line is great, the characters and their interactions are well written, the weapons and upgrades keep you intrigued and the enemies and boss battles can be challenging. The gameplay really reminds me of an upgraded version of the original Zelda. Definitely a game worth investing in.Ver másVer menos
